Democratic Debate In Phoenix To Be Sponsored By Life Alert®

After a night when the delegate math swung decisively against him, it is not clear whether Comrade Bernie still intends to fight a long primary battle against Uncle Joe as he did against Cankles in 2016.

Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) said if Sanders failed to win any of the six primary contests on Tuesday, the Democratic National Committee should step in and end the primaries and any additional debates.

“I think when the night is over, Joe Biden will be the prohibitive favorite to win the Democratic nomination, and quite frankly, if the night ends the way it has begun, I think it is time for us to shut this primary down, it is time for us to cancel the rest of these debates — because you don’t do anything but get yourself in trouble if you continue in this contest when it’s obvious that the numbers will not shake out for you,” Clyburn said on NPR.

James Carville, the guy who’s uglier than a mud fence, agreed with Clyburn saying, “Let’s shut this puppy down.”

Two days before Arizona’s Primary, the two crabby old guys are scheduled to debate at the Arizona Federal Theatre.  There will be no audience, no spin room and no press filing center.  They will be seated for the first time in a debate.  Bernie’s campaign wonders why O’Bidenbama’s campaign asked for the change in format.  They seem to be joining in on the stepped up criticisms of his physical fitness and mental acuity, cringeworthy lapses on the stump and pitifully painful debate performances.

While previous debates have featured the candidates standing on stage at lecterns fielding questions from moderators, Sunday’s debate will feature the candidates sitting in comfy chairs between two ferns reminiscing about the good ol’ days when Castro was making literacy great again and Joe recalls some “mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy” whose name he can’t remember.

Having them seated for this debate is just begging for trouble.  Those lapel microphones can pick up the sound of a rat pissing on cotton.  Bernie is a commie gasbag and will be cutting the cheese like it’s a free-fire zone.  And Joe, well, his brains are in his ass.  Being seated will only suffocate it.

Traitor To America Endorses Communist Presidential Candidate

Hanoi Jane, the aging 82-year-old whacko actress, officially endorsed Bernie Sanders in the 2020 Democratic primary on Friday.

“We have to get a climate president in office, and there’s only one right now, and that’s Bernie Sanders,” the traitor to America told USA TODAY shortly before attending a climate protest in Los Angeles “So, I’m indirectly saying I believe you have to support the climate candidate.”

Comrade Bernie is a vocal proponent of aggressive climate policies including the complete transition to renewable energy and ending “the greed of the fossil fuel industry.” He is a supporter of the Bronx Bolshevik’s Green New Deal.

Fonda, who had donated to Amy Klobuchar of the frozen tundra and Pocahontas, said she's now going to shift her support to the commie who combs his hair with a balloon.

For the younger crowd, Fonda famously posed with North Vietnamese soldiers atop an anti-aircraft gun in Hanoi in 1972 to protest the Vietnam War.  She “claims” to regret that decision.  I know of no one who hasn’t thrown the bullshit flag on that lie.

CNN Is Full Of Yapping Turds

CNN is in hot water with supporters of Bernie Sanders after Michael Smerconish compared the Democratic frontrunner to the coronavirus that has killed just under 3,000 people worldwide and devastated financial markets across the globe on his early morning show.

Twitter lit up to slam the host as well as the cable news outfit noting "the network decided to get rid of the chyron" when sharing the host’s segment on Twitter.

#FireSmerconish even started trending as various users demanded action be taken against the host.

Let me be crystal clear.  I do not support Comrade Bernie.  I torch him regularly on this blog.  I vehemently denounce his Marxist leanings, criticize his unkempt appearance, the way he says “Cuber” and “Chiner” and his so-called “revolution”.

I would never equate the man to a deadly virus no matter how much I detest him.

Democratic presidential candidates have been describing the federal infectious-disease bureaucracy as rudderless and ill-prepared for the coronavirus threat because of budget cuts and ham-handed leadership by President Donald Trump. That’s an egregiously distorted picture, so says The Associated Press.

Some public health experts say a bigger concern than White House budgets is the steady erosion of a CDC grant program for state and local public health emergency preparedness — the front lines in detecting and battling new disease. But that decline was set in motion by a congressional budget measure that predates Trump.

The public health system has a playbook to follow for pandemic preparation — regardless of who’s president or whether specific instructions are coming from the White House. Those plans were put into place in anticipation of another flu pandemic but are designed to work for any respiratory-borne disease.

“The CDC’s response has been excellent, as it has been in the past,” said John Auerbach, president of the nonpartisan Trust for America’s Health, which works with government at all levels to improve the nation’s response to high-risk health crises. Some Democrats have charged that Trump decimated the nation’s public health leadership, but Auerbach said CDC’s top scientific ranks have remained stable during the past three years.

Last night, the President was speaking at a campaign rally in Charleston, SC and brought up the coronavirus and Democrats’ attempts to politicize the issue calling it their new hoax.

His comment was referring to Democrats claiming his administration is not doing a good job containing the virus. He never said the coronavirus itself is a hoax, just Democrats’ claims that the Trump Administration is failing to protect the country.

A POLITICO headline after the rally read: “Trump rallies his base to treat coronavirus as a ‘hoax.’”

No, he did not!

Quit playing god-damned politics. It is beyond shameful the way the press and Democrats have been spreading false information that undermines the nation’s efforts to face a potential pandemic.

Bernie And The Sanitizing Of The Horrors Committed In The Name Of Fidel Castro’s Revolution

Bernie’s perspective on Cuba is emblematic of his worldview and his affinity for America’s enemies, especially when they happen to be communist or radical Islamists.

The comrade who combs his hair with a balloon vociferously insists it is “unfair” to say everything was bad in Castro’s Cuba.  How can anyone be that intellectually bankrupt?  Its tantamount to claiming Stalin’s Russia produced great Bolshoi ballet dancers despite murdering 20 million of his own countrymen.  Or that Nazi Germany, despite its concentration camps, built great highways or Mussolini who bombed the Red Cross, dropped poison gas and committed war crimes in Africa and the Balkans but made the trains run on time.

A Trump vs. Bernie election will mark a truly revolutionary choice, the likes of which America has never seen. It will be the first genuinely free choice Americans have had in a presidential election.

It's going to be wild on a debate stage when Trump is praising JFK and Bernie has to defend praising Castro instead.

If you think back to historic presidential debates, what immediately comes to mind is Reagan vs. Carter or more recently Trump vs. Clinton; maybe even last week’s Democratic debate turned bloodbath in Vegas.

Oddly, Comrade Bernie’s rivals on the debate stage never really hit the presumptive front-runner where he is most vulnerable: his unholy warmth for the genocidal Soviet Union and his praise of communist dictatorships such as those in Nicaragua and Cuba.

Famous for giving long-winded speeches in green military fatigues, Fidel Castro turned Cuba into a communist state on the doorstep of America. He survived a CIA-backed invasion by Cuban exiles at the Bay of Pigs in 1961, as well as numerous assassination attempts, continuing U.S. trade embargoes and an economic crisis in the 1990s following the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Castro played a central role in taking the world to the brink of nuclear war [Cuban missile crisis] in 1962 when he let the Soviet Union put ballistic missiles in Cuba leading to a 13-day standoff between President John F. Kennedy and Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev.

When Castro stepped down on February 20, 2008 due to failing health, CNN sent an email company-wide giving marching orders to its reporters on the “proper” way to report his resignation.

“Please say in our reporting that Castro stepped down in a letter he wrote to Granma (the Communist Party Daily), as opposed to in a letter attributed to Fidel Castro. We have no reason to doubt he wrote his resignation letter, he has penned numerous articles over the past year and a half.”

“Please note Fidel did bring social reforms to Cuba—namely free education and universal health care, and racial integration in addition to being criticized for oppressing human rights and freedom of speech.”

The sender of that email was Allison Flexner who was a producer for CNN’s Superdesk at the time.  A transcript from the on-air reporting of a hijacking of a Cuban plane on its way to the U.S. reveals Flexner was working in Cuba as far back as 2000.

So, yeah, when Bernie sings the praises of Castro and Cuba, he got that shit straight from CNN.

Comrade Bernie Seeing Red Over The Left’s Fear And Loathing Of Him

Let’s begin by stating the obvious:  Democrats have suddenly realized Bernie Sanders is going to win his party’s nomination for president.

The Democrat “establishment” has been asleep at the wheel ever since 2016.  It now comes face-to-face with the monster it created.  A profile of Sanders in 2015 by POLITICO argued he had benefited from “an unwritten agreement” that everyone would “steer clear” of scrutinizing his personal history.  Hillary refrained from doing so in 2016.

Trump-deranged journalists must be held accountable for having remained silent on this useless-as-tits-on-a-boar-hog socialist with twisted sexual fantasies and the culture of sexual harassment in his 2016 campaign.

The Trump campaign will not hesitate for a moment to eviscerate him, but that’s for another post on another day.

After the vicious free-for-all at the last Democratic Presidential Debate Andrew Perez, a political writer for International Business Times, tweeted a plea to take down Sanders from the founders of Third Way, a national think tank that “champions modern center-left ideas.”

Deciding which candidate should go head-to-head against President Trump is the paramount political calculation of a lifetime for the DNC.

USA Today noted in 2016 Clinton pummeled Sanders in the four Sunbelt states of Florida (64-33%), Arizona (58-40%), North Carolina (55-41%) and Texas (65-33%).

In a 1983 political debate Sanders first exclaimed, “I am a socialist; of course I’m a socialist.”  Republicans have tried without success in the past to label Democrat nominees as socialists, but this time the charge will stick to Sanders like shit on your shoe.

The potency of that attack is evidenced by Sanders’ central policy proposal: "Medicare for All." His plan would turn over total control to the federal government of one-fifth of the American economy. It doesn’t take much Trumpian logic to label that “socialized medicine.”

Now Bernie Sanders is getting a small taste of the criticism piled on Donald Trump for the entirety of his first term as president.  The New York Post  published a report saying, “The Democratic front-runner has been left seeing red over repeated slights against him by liberal MSNBC pundits and hosts, including Chris Matthews, who suggested the senator might cheer socialist executions in Central Park. And Chuck Todd—a moderator of Wednesday’s debate—even quoted a story that described Sanders supporters as a ‘digital brownshirt brigade.’ Todd was also tackled by the seething Sanders onstage after the debate: ‘I do not appreciate your comment about my supporters,’ adding the Holocaust reference was ‘offensive.’”

During the post-debate discussion, MSNBC’s Chris Hayes interrupted saying that Sanders is “pretty clearly” in favor of the type of socialism found in countries like Denmark, which Matthews had said was harmless, Matthews again suggested Sanders might have supported violent regimes, asking, “Is he? How do you know? Did he tell you that?”

Sanders' communications director, Mike Casca, responded to Matthews' comment.

"Never thought part of my job would be pleading with a national news network to stop likening the campaign of a Jewish presidential candidate whose family was wiped out by the Nazis to the Third Reich, but here we are."

These comments are not dissimilar to the hateful rhetoric repeated ad nauseum against our president for nearly four years. 

How does it feel now that the shoe is on the other foot Comrade Bernie?

Sen. Bernie Sanders, who’s seeking his party’s presidential nomination, said he received an intelligence briefing about a month ago. But it didn’t become public until a Washington Post report Friday said President Trump and lawmakers on Capitol Hill had also been informed of the Russian involvement.

In 2016, Russia used social media to boost the Sanders campaign against Cankles Clinton.

If Putin really wants an ally in the White House, any Democrat will do, but Bernie Sanders would be the most obedient apparatchik of them all.

Biden’s Democratic campaign jumped on the developments to suggest he’s the least favorite candidate of the Russians and Trump. “We know who Vladimir Putin doesn’t want to be president,” spokesman Andrew Bates said, “and we know who Donald Trump doesn’t want to be the nominee.”  [Don’t worry Joe, you’re toast anyway.]

During Wednesday’s venomous Las Vegas debate, Sanders hinted that abusive behavior attributed to his “Bernie bros” may have been the work of foreign elements trying to sow division.

“All of us remember 2016, and what we remember is efforts by Russians and others to try to interfere in our elections and divide us up,” Sanders said. “I’m not saying that’s happening, but it would not shock me.”

Elizabeth Warren chided Sanders for waiting a month before making the meeting public.

As Sanders walked away from reporters during a press gaggle yesterday, he was asked why the report is coming out now if he was briefed a month ago. Comrade Bernie turned the question back to reporters with a cryptic response.

Four Senators Must Recuse Themselves From Impeachment Trial

Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), who serves on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Armed Services Committee, Veterans’ Affairs Committee and the Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee, said on Wednesday the four Democrat senators running for president should recuse themselves from taking part in President Trump's impeachment trial.

In a statement Blackburn said, “Tomorrow, one hundred United States Senators will be sworn in to serve in the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump.  Four of those senators must recuse themselves for their unparalleled political interest in seeing this President removed from office.  Senators Bernie Sanders, Amy Klobuchar, Michael Bennet and Elizabeth cannot sit in judgment of the very President they seek to replace.”

Article II of the Constitution stipulates “no impeached President can be removed unless two-thirds of senators agree and when sitting for an impeachment trial they shall be on Oath or Affirmation.”

The oath is separate from the one they take when they are sworn into office.  The Rule XXV oath reads:  “I solemnly swear or affirm that in all things appertaining to the trial of the impeachment of President Donald John Trump, now pending, I will do impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws; So help me God.”

Every senator is required to commit to do impartial justice on pain of perjury.

Blackburn’s point should not be lost on anyone.

During yesterday’s Engrossment Ceremony, Nancy Pelosi said, “And so, with that, I will sign the Resolution transmitting the Articles of Impeachment to the Senate, which will be delivered by our Managers, of whom I’m very proud.  When they bring it over to set in motion a process on the Senate side—probably tomorrow, and I don’t know their schedule—but it may be as soon as tomorrow, and the Senators will take an oath of office.  They will take a special oath of office to do impartial justice according to the Constitution and the laws.  Let’s hope that they uphold that oath that they take tomorrow.”

Sen. Klobuchar has stated she’s likely to vote in favor of removing the President from office.  “I’ve said from the beginning, I see this as impeachable conduct.”

Sen. Sanders is perpetually bellicose with remarks like this one.  “And the truth is, Trump is not just a pathological liar, and it’s not just that he is running the most corrupt administration in the modern history of our country, or that he is a racist, sexist, a homophobe, a xenophobe and a religious bigot. But that’s only half the story. The other half of the story is that is that he is a total, 100 percent fraud.”  

Sen. Bennet, whose campaign is virtually non-existent and should drop out of the race, is quoted as saying, “Whatever our job is between now and next November, we have to do everything we can to defeat Donald Trump.”  Bennet has called the mounting evidence against the President “quite damning.”  “If the facts don’t change, I think that I’m likely to vote to convict.”

In a series of tweets, Sen. Warren opined, "After the Mueller report, Congress had a duty to begin impeachment. By failing to act, Congress is complicit in Trump's latest attempt to solicit foreign interference to aid him in US elections. Do your constitutional duty and impeach the president."

"A president is sitting in the Oval Office, right now, who continues to commit crimes.  He continues because he knows his Justice Department won't act and believes Congress won't either. Today's news confirmed he thinks he's above the law. If we do nothing, he'll be right."

Democrats are verklempt because Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell stated he would not be an impartial juror.

"Do you think Chuck Schumer is impartial? Do you think Elizabeth Warren is impartial? Bernie Sanders is impartial? So let's quit the charade. This is a political exercise," McConnell said last month. "All I'm asking of Schumer is that we treat Trump the same way we treated [President] Clinton." 

Of course, he will take the same special oath required of the other ninety-nine senators.

And The Winner Is…

After what many, including myself, saw as the performance of the ages when Clemson was unequivocally humbled by a Bayou Beatdown in New Orleans Monday night, it was impossible for CNN’s Democratic Presidential Debate from Des Moines to generate a scintilla of excitement for what turned out to be more like dance night at a retirement home.

The moderators asked predictably skewed questions meant to gin up the animosity between Pocahontas and the guy who combs his hair with a balloon who, according to her, said a woman could not win the White House. 

Van Jones, CNN commentator and ardent supporter of The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer, described what he watched as “cold oatmeal”. “The Democrats are going to have to do better than what we saw tonight,” he said. “There was nothing I saw tonight that would be able to take Donald Trump out—and I want to see a Democrat in the White House as soon as possible.”

Debate recap:  “Sen, Klobuchar your time has expired.”  “Trump did it.”  “Let me be clear.”  “Sen. Klobuchar, your time…”  “Folks, folks…”  “The fact of the matter is…”  “Uh, uh, uh…”

Aaron Feis and Tamar Lapin writing for the New York Post noted, “If Biden, Warren, Sanders, Buttigieg and Klobuchar didn’t break away from the pack, they at least played the hits. The same could not be said for the night’s sixth candidate, ­billionaire hedge-funder Tom Steyer, whose political inexperience continued to leave him doe-eyed and tongue-tied.”

The ho-hum debate, and believe me it was mind-numbingly tedious, ended with speculation over the animated exchange between Warren and Sanders when Looney Lizzie approached Comrade Bernie who stuck out his hand to shake hers only to have her snub him.

As she was speaking to Bernie, he nodded, then put up his hands as if to stop her.  Idiot Steyer walked up to them with Sanders saying something that caused the two of them to turn their backs and walk away.

Steyer, when asked about the confrontation afterwards said, “Look, I don’t know what they were saying.  Whatever was going on, I was trying to get out of the way as fast as possible.”

The post-debate chuckleheads at CNN were all-a-twitter over the mystery.  Maybe next time, the most trusted name in news could hire a lip reader while they struggle mightily to qualify as a credible news source.

Poor Planning On Your Part Does Not Constitute An Emergency On My Part

The Bronx Bolshevik, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who beat the pants off Democrat Machine Joe Crowley back in June won a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2018 Midterm Election. 

She now joins hair-brained, dimwitted colleagues Nancy Palsi, Mad Max Waters, Sheila Jackson Lee and Fredrica Wilson, but there’s a glitch.

In an interview with The New York Times published on Thursday, Ocasio-Cortez called the transition into becoming a lawmaker "very unusual, because I can’t really take a salary. I have three months without a salary before I’m a member of Congress. So, how do I get an apartment? Those little things are very real."

She and her “partner” have been “just kind of squirreling away and then hoping that gets me to January.” This “squirreling away” she speaks of─would that be the money she cheated a co-worker out of?

According to the New York Post, Cortez made $560 in tips during the Cinco de Mayo celebration in 2017.  When it came time to split the tips, she only gave the waitress $50.  After complaining to the manager of the bar, Cortez was forced to double the take to $100.

The waitress who was rooked by Cortez said, “It says so much about her character.  From that point on I wouldn’t talk to her.  I couldn’t look at her.”  According to the published report, Cortez could not be reached for comment.

Now, for someone who graduated from Boston University with a major in economics and international relations, you’d think she would plan for her financial future for the long term.

Apparently, like her mentor Sen. Bernie Sanders, she’s an authentic airhead. Former Senator Joe Lieberman said of Cortez, “She seems likely to hurt Congress, America and the Democratic Party.”

Rather than joining the Democratic Socialist Party she should have joined the party made famous by the eccentric Jimmy McMillan of the Rent Is Too Damn High Party.  This fellow is so bizarre, Saturday Night Live featured him in a skit.

Cortez did herself no favors when she posed for an interview in a $3500 ensemble designed by Gabriela Heart and black stilettos from Manolo Blahnik.  At least she wasn’t wearing Chanel.

Like Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro, once Socialists gain power, they have closets filled with expensive clothes while their countrymen go hungry.  That’s how the Socialism thing works.

Is the wunderkind of the Left too good to sleep in her office like Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Reps. Dan Donovan, Gregory Meeks, Lee Zeldin, John Katko and Brian Higgins?

The Bronx Bolshevik And The Old Guy Who Combs His Hair With A Balloon

When Bernie Sanders appeared in Wichita, Kansas a week ago he said, “ideas once considered to be radical are now part of the mainstream.”

Alongside him on the dais was the Democrat Party’s “Next Big Thing”.  A Bronx Bolshevik who has been toasted on the Sunday talk shows, is making videos with Bernie and running around the country on a breathless endorsement tour.

Alexandria Ocasio Cortez credits her primary win over New York Democrat Joe Crowley, who was expected to succeed Nancy Pelosi as Democrat leader of the House, to the efforts of the George Soros-backed BrandNewCongress.org and Justice Democrats.

The policies of Justice Democrats include:  securing a living wage tied to inflation, enacting a federal jobs guarantee, healthcare as a right, tuition-free public colleges, law enforcement reform, abolishing ICE and enacting common sense gun regulation.

Socialism polls brilliantly with the core Democrat base of angry government workers, angry college students, angry welfare recipients and San Francisco eco-billionaires who keep all their money in Caribbean banks.

The Democrats are no longer sure of the difference between whatever it is they believe and socialism. That’s because they have no ideas other than resisting Trump and hating Republicans.

Now I know some trolls on the Left will read this and be tempted to post their defiance of the opinions expressed in the comment section here.  So, for them I will cite a source they can scarcely rebut.

As Venezuela’s economy crumbles, daily life has become a constant struggle, consisting of waiting in line for food and stretching a minuscule wage that each day buys fewer goods.

The country's monthly minimum wage of 1,307,000 bolívars — around $6.03 on the black market — is enough for two cartons of eggs, a kilo (about 2.2 pounds) of cornmeal and a box of pasta, or two liters of milk, four cans of tuna and a loaf of bread.

Venezuela sits on the world’s largest oil reserve and was once one of Latin America’s wealthiest countries. But as hyperinflation continues to rise to levels not seen anywhere in the world, money loses more and more value.

Venezuela’s crisis can be traced back to Hugo Chávez, who was elected in 1998 on a promise to share the country’s oil wealth with the poor.

He relied heavily on oil revenues to fund his “21st Century Socialism,” agenda, importing goods and selling them at subsidized prices to make things more affordable.

But when oil prices collapsed around 2014, Venezuela had little savings to fall back on. Since then, the government has cut imports and used its small reserves to pay its foreign debt and avoid default. This has turned into a crisis, with shortages in everything from medicine to food.

Billions disappeared from the economy due to cronyism, with Transparency International naming Venezuela one of the most corrupt countries in the world. The socialist utopia has transformed into a failed country.

The Venezuelan people rummage in stinking piles of rubbish for rotten cabbage leaves, desiccated limes and scraps of fetid meat. Zoos have been forced to slaughter animals to feed their starving population and dozens of desperate men were filmed this year shouting “we are hungry” as they surrounded cattle and beat them to death with stones for the meat.

The only part of socialism its intellectually bankrupt adherents enjoy are the freebies.

The late British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher noted, “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.”

History tells us that even before they run out of money, the socialists will run out of sanity.
