State Department Finally Gives (Almost) Four Year Old Benghazi Phone Transcripts to Judicial Watch, and They're Filled With LIES

Judicial Watch(Washington, DC)– The Obama State Department last week admitted it withheld a key Benghazi email of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton from Judicial Watch since at least September 2014. If the State Department disclosed the email when first supposedly found, Clinton’s email server and her hidden emails would have been disclosed nearly two years ago, before Clinton authorized the alleged deletion of tens of thousands of emails.

It gets worse...Read the rest about the phone transcripts finally delivered that prove State Department and White House lying about Benghazi at Judicial Watch and Breitbart.

Huma Almost Wept Because She Feared Hillary's Wrath

Washington Free Beacon - Hillary Clinton’s closest aide Huma Abedin is so devoted to her boss that she almost sobbed upon learning Clinton had to carry her own bag, a Newsweek profile revealed Thursday.

“Abedin took her duties so seriously, the source recalled, that when she learned that Clinton had once carried her own bag up a flight of stairs in her aide’s absence, Abedin nearly burst into tears,” Newsweek reported.

The same source said that Clinton once snapped her fingers and said “Gum” to Abedin.

“A lot of times, Hillary would snap her fingers and go, ‘Gum.’ And Huma would fetch it,” the source said.

Although Abedin no longer totes her boss’s bags around, she still carries Clinton’s infamous cell phone and serves her boss coffee and Mexican food.  Read the rest at the Washington Free Beacon.

Flowing Curves Bonus: Star Trek Edition

Because, sometimes, one Monday "Curves" post is just not enough.  Why Star Trek? Because Curmudgeon forbid it before she left town.  That should be justification enough.
Well, this is not the way I remember these pics.  Proof!  Have you been messing with my Star Trek archives?

What the...?

This isn't even Star Trek.  And Bernie doesn't have any 'curves.'  What's going on?

Oh, now that's just not right.  Making fun of Grace Lee Whitney is NOT COOL!

I'm strangely OK with this one...  I look pretty fly as a Ferengi.  This is just going to get me in trouble with Gruntessa, though.  I can see that right now...

Marina Sirtis looks pretty good here.  I'm having trouble determining whether you altered this one at all, Proof.  And if you did, I'm having trouble objecting!

Hillary Down by Seven Going Into NY

ZeroHedge - Seven In A Row for Bernie: Idaho, Utah, Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, Wisconsin, and now Wyoming.

And in celebration, on a related Clinton note, here's a Star Trek reference, just because Curmudgeon told us she hates Star Trek references!

Friday Afternoon Curmudgeon Sighting at the Beach

Looks like she's enjoying a cool mojito.  That's good.  She seems distracted, though.  I'm sure, if she weren't so busy working on her tan and ogling Presidential candidates, she'd tell us to enjoy a few Friday cocktails, ourselves, back at Casa de Curmudgeon.  So, drinks are on the house, everybody!  Curmudge is paying, so have a great night and a wonderful weekend!  It's springtime!  Woo hoo!

Hillary's Collapse

From Salon author H.A. Goodman:

Hillary’s world collapsing around her: Wisconsin, Bernie’s surge and FBI probe poised to derail her White House bid

Clinton isn’t only facing a possible indictment, but also Sanders & millions of voters sick of status quo politics

Wisconsin represents more than just Bernie’s sixth straight win, or the likelihood of seven straight wins after Wyoming, right before New York. This political revolution, ignited by Bernie Sanders and fought for by people of all races, faiths, and ethnic backgrounds across the U.S. has been bolstered by political momentum. It’s not current delegate count or prior poll numbers, it’s unprecedented political momentum that will win Sanders the Democratic nomination.

It’s the fact Bernie Sanders isn’t going to be interviewed by the FBI like Clinton, and also the fact Wisconsin has kept political momentum alive at a crucial time in the Democratic Primary race. Since Sanders does better against GOP competition than Clinton, he’ll win the presidency when elected Democratic nominee. Clinton’s “FBI Primary” is around the corner and Wisconsin symbolizes the continuation of something profound.

Amy Shumer Prefers to be Praised in the Company of Only Skinny Gun Control Advocates

Gruntington Post - When comedienne, feminist and gun control advocate Amy Shumer was praised for being "inspiring" in Glamour Magazine's Plus-Size issue, alongside actress Melissa McCarthy and singer Adele, she was less than pleased.  She posted the following remark on Instagram to express her disappointment:
I think there's nothing wrong with being plus size. Beautiful healthy women. Plus size is considered size 16 in America. I go between a size 6 and an 8. @glamourmag put me in their plus size only issue without asking or letting me know and it doesn't feel right to me. Young girls seeing my body type thinking that is plus size? What are your thoughts? Mine are not cool glamour not glamourous.
My thought is, will young girls be confused when trying to reconcile her current outrage with her previous activism?  What's wrong with being praised for her "words," after all?  She's always protested against the need for women to be perceived as "attractive" in public professions, like entertainment or politics.  But now, it seems terribly important to her to be perceived as thin.  More important than, say, the freedom of speech or of the press.  Interesting.  Maybe she's not the best person to tell us we don't need the freedom of self defense, either.

What? Another Vacay?

Sophie The Wonderdog and I are headed to the beach to visit my best friend.  While I’m away, good friends Proof, Grunt and Adrienne will be keeping tabs on the ol’ blog for me.

The photograph above was taken on my phone last summer, but you can see the view is peaceful.  The patio has deck railing four feet high which is just tall enough to keep my friend’s two furkids, Tika and Teddy, safe and sound.  A great deal of time will be spent sitting under the shade of the pergola watching the carefree geese and mallards swim by.  The only disturbance in The Force will be when Skeeter, who lives next door to my friend, gets let out.  She makes a bee-line for the water to harass the fish and turtles living in the little canal you see in the photo.

Adrienne just joined our merry band of bloggers and has promised to keep the boys in check this go ‘round.  Each time I hand them the keys to the liquor cabinet while I’m away it seems they invariably trash the joint including shooting up my Hummel collection.

Adrienne has fervently assured me she will make sure the beer cans, Cheetos dust and peanut shells will be cleaned up before I get back.  No squirrels swilling the scotch either!

My friends will continue to add content in my absence.  Proof and Grunt are mischievous characters so don’t be surprised by anything they post.

I hope you’ll welcome Adrienne.  She has her own blog as well and has graciously consented to help us out from time to time.

I have made sure the regular Monday feature “Flowing Curves of Beauty” is queued up for the next two Mondays.   One time I failed to do that and Proof put up Star Trek babes.

I hope everyone has a great week.  Take care out there.

You love me, you really, really love me...

Actually, there's not a grain of truth in that statement, but I thought it would be worthwhile to plant a little notion in your noggins.

Allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Adrienne, and I hang out in a little corner of the interwebs.  Most days I sit in the aforementioned corner, sucking my thumb, and twirling my hair.

However, when a friend comes seeking help, I am powerless to refuse.

In just days, our fearless leader, Curmudgeon, will be going off on one of her little jaunts leaving Grunt and Proof in charge of the blog.  Regular readers will remember when they had to call in Peruvian maids (legal),  carpet cleaners, and sanitizing crews to fix up the ol' homestead before Curmudgeon's anticipated arrival home.  One year they actually had to replace the carpet because of cigar burns. These guys just cannot not be trusted with the keys to the liquor cabinet.

Sooooooooooo, much to their chagrin, I, me, moi will be in charge of the keys.  The screaming and gnashing of teeth you hear is Grunt and Proof displaying childish histrionics in hopes that Curmudgeon will change her mind.

Not happening, boys.

I've also engaged John Kasich to be in charge of our mail, Trump will handle entertainment, Cruz will order our wash-off tattoos, Bernie, well, Bernie will be hitting the dumpsters for food, and Hillary will be in charge of emails.

It's going to be a great week.  Yuuuuuge!!

Obama Declares Alaska's Pavlof Volcano Number One Global Threat

Declares Global Virgin Shortage Number Two Threat

Gruntington Post [Anchorage, AK] - Under pressure from climate scientists to use the might and power of the White House to act against the erupting Pavlof volcano in Alaska, which is sending millions of tons of ash and greenhouse gases into the upper atmosphere, President Obama made a few calls and took out his pen and declared the eruption the current "Number One Global Threat." He further gave a sternly worded speech at the Griffith Observatory near where he was playing golf in Pasadena, CA, about how the climate catastrophe caused by this one event would threaten "all of mankind," but most especially "people of color, women, gays, muslims and Cubans." Climate scientists squealed in delight.

Later, at a White House press briefing, where he arrived in Air Force One after taking a brief detour to Rio de Janeiro "for a Coke," President Obama was asked repeatedly if he had taken any concrete action against the volcano and its deadly climate effects.

"Well, you know, I've got a lot on my plate. And my staff has taken action to locate a few virgins to help placate the volcano gods. But there are complications in Alaska. Where I'm from, in Hawaii, you dealt with Pele, god of fire. But this volcano is in the Aleutians. So, do you shoot for the Russian ethnic fire gods? Or the Inuits? And have you ever tried to find an actual virgin in Washington DC? It ain't easy. I might have to use Kerry."

Hillary Clinton's Super Tuesday Victory Celebrations Marred by Supernatural Manifestations, Broom Malfunctions

Gruntington Post [Miami] - Hillary Clinton enjoyed sweeping victories Tuesday night in the 2016 Presidential Democratic Primaries, but things didn't go smoothly here in Miami, Florida in the aftermath.  The problems began during candidate Clinton's victory speech, which one spectator described as "unusually empty and soulless, even for her."  At about the midpoint, the large screen behind the podium, recording incoming primary results, began flashing the results for Texas.
At this point in the returns, clinton's percentage in Texas had hit 66.6%, and that number began flashing furiously, accompanied by an eerie electronic waling sound, and the display caught fire and had to be shut down.  Although Sen. Clinton continued her speech without the screen, she was visibly shaken.  A few minutes later, Clinton's favorite skull necklace broke and scattered the carved antler skulls loudly all over the stage.  This caused audible gasps from the audience, and probably caused the speech to be ended prematurely.

Later on, campaign insiders volunteered that there had also been inexplicable technical problems during Hillary's flight to Miami earlier in the day.  Despite having a brand new Nimbus 2000 Flying Broom, which is one of the very most reliable brands, she developed lift problems over Jacksonville, Florida, and had to land, catching a chartered plane the rest of the way.
Despite these unnerving events, candidate Clinton was seen later to be sporting a game face during the victory party at the West Palm Beach Witches Union Hall (Coven #3123), even relaxing and enjoying her victory with a beer.

GOP Insiders Determined to Make Their Suicide a Messy One

With the most popular Republican Presidential candidate (and possibly the top two) in open existential warfare with the GOP leadership, it's clear that the party, as we know it, will not survive into 2017.  A leadership change is being forced by deeply unhappy conservative voters, but the old guard leaders, represented by Senators McConnell and Graham and House Speaker Ryan (and Boehner before him) are not going quietly into the night.

In fact, recent actions by the party indicate an unthinkable level of willingness to self-destruct, even to purposely lose the election rather than allow a popular outsider like Donald Trump to win the nomination and the general election.  According to Politico, GOP leadership is taking measures to set up a possible independent run at the last minute in order to split the vote and prevent their own candidate from winning the general.

Although shockingly deceitful and destructive, such a move actually makes sense.  The current party leadership might survive another loss to Democrats with whom they share more in common than they do with their increasingly alienated constituency.  But they might not survive a huge victory by a free candidate, like Trump, "loaded for bear" against them.

Another strategy reported by the New York Times is for the GOP leadership to force a brokered convention and nominate a candidate friendlier than Trump: Marco Rubio or John Kasich - but NOT Ted Cruz.  BlurBrain commented about this as follows (emphasis mine):
Why not just run Romney or McCain again?
Once again the Party elites are bound and determined to find some way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by dumping some lackluster nominee on the unwilling Republican voters in the mistaken belief that only some Johnny Milquetoast RINO can appeal to the wider segment of society.
Dude, we tried that, TWICE and it failed...
How about for a change they just let the people decide who they want, for better or worse and then get the hell out of the way?
This election isn’t going to be about ‘likes and wants’ as much as who you hate and fear the most. And right now it seems the GOPe is siding with the Democrats.

Plenty Valenti and the Mystery of "Bernie Bro" Sexism

These actual accusations can be found in this bewildering Vox piece that the real Jessica Valenti re-tweeted and totally agreed with, expressing no shame whatsoever. First three Plenty Valenti episodes here, here and here.

Go Home Twitter; You're Drunk

Has Twitter Finally Screwed the Pooch?

Full-blown Social Justice War has been brewing at Twitter-Incorporated for some time.  It heated up considerably a few weeks ago when they hired controversial feminist Anita Sarkeesian to head up their freshly-minted, Orwellian-named "Trust and Safety Council."  It became rapidly clear that this was no mere token effort as Twitter immediately followed up this action by banning well-known conservative voices, and partially disabling the accounts of others in the name of "safety."

One of the first to fall, at least temporarily, was British anti-feminist Milo Yiannopoulos. Friday, conservative blogger and noted feminism critic, Robert Stacy McCain also found his account disabled, prompting supporters to mount a #FreeStacy campaign. Apparently, though, Twitter has taken no action to disable certain liberal hate sites, like one intriguingly named @KillDonaldTrump.

But, it may already be too late to save Twitter from their latest foolishness.  They seem to have dug in, and conservatives are now asking if the monopoly of left-leaning social media has become too repulsive and anti-freedom to be tolerated any longer.

An excellent discussion about these developing events can be found in today's Federalist article by Robert Tracinski.

Our Rocket Scientist-In-Chief

No, really.  This issue of Popular Science actually came in the mail today.  They really interviewed Barack on the future of science and technology.  And he told them.  Because he had a real technical job once.  Working in a Baskin Robbins in Honolulu.  And, uh, physics is a big part of golf.

Reason #32,937 Why Most Liberals Are Going Straight to Hell

Don't give me that "not all liberals would dance on Scalia's grave" nonsense.  Yes, they would.  They despised Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, just like they hated Reagan and Thatcher.  All because he was a consistent voice for constitutional rule of law which keeps us from total dictatorship and mob rule.  And they'd dance on that grave 30 seconds after they spent an hour explaining to you why it's disgraceful and dangerous to dance on bin Laden's grave.  You know, if he had one.  Because that's the kind of people they are, as proven by this tweet here.
