A Disturbing Charade

As President Trump laid his hand upon the Lincoln Bible at high noon on January 20, 2017, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts was administering the Oath of Office.  At 12:15 PM, Obama’s National Security Administrator was busily typing an email to herself.
She was adorably concerned [I’m being factious here] about detailing her boss’ guidance at a “high-level meeting” in the Oval Office from January 5 about how “law enforcement should investigate interference in the 2016 Presidential Election.”
In attendance was The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer, Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, “Uncle” Joe Biden, FBI Director James Comey and Rice.
In the email, Rice wrote: “On January 5, following a briefing by IC leadership on Russian hacking during the 2016 Presidential election, President Obama had a brief follow-on conversation with FBI Director Jim Comey and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates in the Oval Office. Vice President Biden and I were also present. President Obama began the conversation by stressing his continued commitment to ensuring that every aspect of this issue is handled by the Intelligence and law enforcement communities “by the book”. The President stressed that he is not asking about, initiating or instructing anything from a law enforcement perspective. He reiterated that our law enforcement team needs to proceed as it normally would by the book. From a national security perspective, however, President Obama said he wants to be sure that, as we engage with the incoming team, we are mindful to ascertain if there is any reason that we cannot share information fully as it relates to Russia. The President asked Comey to inform him if anything changes in the next few weeks that should affect how we share classified information with the incoming team. Comey said he would.”
The “unusual” email first surfaced Monday, when Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) sent Rice a letter asking her to further explain why she sent the email and whether it pertains to her involvement in the Trump-Russia dossier.

Sens. Grassley and Graham asked her to tell them when she first became aware of the FBI’s investigation into allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign. NOTE: The FBI reportedly began investigating links  sometime in July 2016.
They also asked whether Comey and Yates discussed the dossier in the Oval Office meeting with Obama and how Comey described the FBI’s relationship with the dossier's author, Christopher Steele.
Comey denied ever meeting Obama more than twice in his tenure; once in 2015 and again “to say good-bye in 2016”. By failing to inform the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence about the meeting in his June 8, 2017 testimony, Comey may have deliberately and intentionally misled Congress about his interactions with the former president, especially a meeting so close to Trump entering the White House.
Rice must reply to the letter by Feb. 22.
If Rice abused her position as National Security Adviser to unmask Trump aides as part of an effort to sabotage the Trump Administration, she committed the crime of espionage.
Question No. 5 of the Grassley/Graham letter divulges the strong suspicion they are in possession of documentation contradicting Rice’s email account of the meeting.
5. Is the account of the January 5, 2017 meeting presented in your email accurate? Did you omit any other portions of the conversation?

Oil Up The Guillotines

Democrats and their RINO collaborators are overcome with ecstasy and cheering their little asses off now that Paul Manafort and Richard Gates have been indicted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.  They are gleefully standing by to oil up the guillotines.

Last July, according to an exclusive report by Daily Mail UK sourced from a secret FBI investigation, left-wing groups from the United States travelled to the G20 Summit in Hamburg, Germany “to meet with al-Qaeda and ISIS leaders and plot the destruction of President Trump.”

Seven months earlier, around Christmastime, Obama National Security Adviser Susan Rice pushed plans at a dinner at the White House to “unmask the names of several Trump campaign associates who were mentioned or whose conversations were captured in intelligence intercepts of Russian officials.”

The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer knew Rice was encouraging leaks to The Washington Post and The New York Times accusing Trump and his campaign of colluding with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the 2016 presidential election.

If Rice’s plot to sandbag the newly elected president succeeded in proving there was collusion or attempts to hinder or stop an investigation into such collusion it would grease the skids for charges of impeachment.

At some point during that dinner, Michelle Obama cautioned the plot could “bite us in the ass.”  Valerie Jarrett, it is reported, “piped up saying Comey thinks Susan’s on to something.  He’s investigating whether the Trump campaign cooperated with the Russians.  There must be something there.”

The Federalist reported yesterday that Fusion GPS was first retained by international law firm Perkins Coie on behalf of the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign in April of 2016 while simultaneously receiving payments from then-President Obama’s campaign arm, Obama for America, to the tune of $972,000 for the so-called Steele dossier per records filed with the Federal Election Commission.  The dossier is a Democrat screed through and through and a despicable Clinton campaign smear tactic in concert with Kremlin-connected sources.
If the FBI used the dossier to seek FISA warrants to intercept communications involving the Trump campaign, it would mean the FBI used a dirty trick from the candidate of the party in power as an excuse to investigate the candidate from the opposition party.
Democrat lobbyist Tony Podesta, brother of Hillary campaign chairman John, and the Podesta Group are now caught up in a federal criminal investigation by Mueller which grew out of Paul Manafort’s finances.  They could face felony charges for work performed on behalf of a pro-Russian think tank from 2012 to 2014.
Podesta Group and Mercury LLC, worked in Washington with Manafort partner Rick Gates, according to lobbying disclosure records.
Yes, let’s oil up the guillotines.

Dirty Rats

Back in February The Washington Post unveiled its new slogan “Democracy dies in darkness” when the paper began being referred to as “the fake news media” by President Trump along with The New York Times and CNN.

Democracy dies in darkness all right; the media is trying to strangle it in an unlit alley.

These same media outlets which were quick to report on possible collusion between Trump’s campaign and Russia are now slow to say how The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer’s administration may have legally but unethically spied on Trump’s campaign.

Like a juggler trying to keep three balls in the air, the “Russiagate” scandal has three scenarios the press is desperate to keep aloft:  the question of whether the Russians somehow “hacked our election”, whether any Trump people “colluded” with the Russians and whether anyone in Obama's administration used our intelligence apparatus to spy on political opponents.

The Drudge Report™ headlined its webpage with “Rice Ordered Spy Docs On Trump” with a link to The Daily Caller which published a report at 10:08 PM Monday night exposing Obama’s national security advisor, Susan Rice, for “ordering US spy agencies to produce detailed spreadsheets of legal phone calls” involving candidate Trump and his aides according to former US Attorney Joseph diGenova.  diGenova further notes, “The overheard conversations involved no illegal activity by any of Trump’s associates, or anyone they were speaking with.  In short, the only apparent illegal activity was the unmasking of the people on the calls.”

diGenova tweeted in February, “What’s happening here is a coup d’état…This is designed to create the atmospherics for an impeachment.”

This exploding scandal constitutes a serious abuse of privacy and raises troubling questions about the use of intelligence operations for political purposes.  And for Rice to pull a “Sgt. Schultz” saying, “I know nothing about this” is nothing short of farcical.

Things come apart so easily when they have been held together with lies.

The ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Adam Schiff, has vigorously searched for proof to support the Dem narrative on Russiagate.  At one point, Schiff was convinced he had Trump and the Republicans on the ropes.  Now, not so much.  Why?

On Thursday, March 31, White House counsel Don McGahn invited ol’ Schiffty to see the documents House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes had been shown.
Kurt Schlicter published a rant at Townhall describing the Democrat Party as “less a political organization than a disorganized crime ring…They’re dumb, but they're not so stupid as not to realize that this Putin nonsense, manufactured as a pathetic excuse for their utter humiliation in November, is falling apart. With the help of their media minions, they hope if they keep shouting “Look, Russians!” we’ll grow so bored we’ll just tune out. It’s their only hope for keeping Obama’s buddies off the chopping block.”

Silence Is Golden. Duct Tape Is Silver.

Do Democrats think the House and Senate Intelligence Committees can turn Trump’s election into an O.J. Simpson trial rerun?

Juan Williams, an inept and easily flummoxed pundit for Fox News penned a piece today for The Hill entitled “Trump’s Risk of Impeachment Rises”.  In the screed Williams exclaimed, “Liberal Democrats could yet see their dreams come true.”

“It is no fantasy to say the drip-drip-drip of the Trump-Russia investigations is draining this presidency of political capital. The president’s historically high disapproval rating— 51 percent in the latest McClatchy poll—tells the same story.”

Williams purports to know unequivocally “astute Republicans are starting to look out for themselves. The first Republican to begin to run for cover was Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who decided to recuse himself from any role in the investigation. Last week Michael Flynn, the former national security adviser, sought immunity in exchange for his testimony to congressional investigators.”

Williams and his league of whiny comrades continue to cling to the notion the “Trump White House continues to pursue a failing strategy of distraction” with “an unsupported claim that President Obama was wiretapping him.  That is now a claim that all but his most stalwart allies have abandoned.”

What Williams failed to take into account was the growing body of evidence revealing that Susan Rice and others as yet unnamed within the Obama Administration did, in fact, spy on individuals connected to the Donald Trump transition and campaign according to US officials familiar with the matter.  Reports said Rice’s requests contained valuable political information such as who the Trump team was meeting, the views of Trump associates on foreign policy matters and plans for the incoming administration.

"That Obama National Security Adviser Susan Rice is alleged to have been responsible for this unmasking is troubling given her history of deceit and her close relationship with then-President Obama," Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) said. "We need to know whether the material gleaned from the Rice unmasking is the material fed to the media in an attempt to do political damage to the Trump administration and, if so, who was responsible for leaking it."

DeSantis is Chairman of the Subcommittee on National Security.

Williams has joined Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) in fantasizing about a Trump resignation or impeachment before 2020.  Kicking over sand castles and handling the Left’s dirty dealing is Trump’s strong suit.

The Ice Cube In Heels Tries “Angry Ice Cube” On For Size

During a “picturesque Potemkin Village pancake breakfast” with NBC’s Savannah Guthrie in Hollis, New Hampshire, The Ice Cube In Heels feigned indignation [beginning at vid mark 5:45] over a question regarding the House Select Committee on Benghazi.

“Look at the situation they chose to exploit, to go after me for political reasons: the death of four Americans in Benghazi. I knew the ambassador. I identified him. I asked him to go there. I asked the president to nominate him.  This committee was set up, as they have admitted, for the purpose of making a partisan political issue out of the deaths of four Americans. I would have never done that,” said The Now-Angry Ice Cube In Heels.

She went on to say, “If I was the president and there were Republicans or Democrats who were thinking about that I would have done everything to shut it down.”

Sounds like she was taking a dig at The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer doesn’t it?  What the Ice Cube failed to mention in her outburst was that she failed to protect the very ambassador she “knew” and “identified”.  It was she who falsely claimed that a YouTube™ video triggered the attack that killed the ambassador she “knew” and it was she who sent Susan Rice to go on five Sunday talk shows and knowingly lie about the death of the ambassador she “knew”.  Oh, and most importantly, she didn’t say a peep about the Select Committee’s discovery of her private email server.
A colossal blunder by House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy recently gave Clinton the opportunity to try the witch hunt card again by claiming that the Benghazi Select Committee had diminished her political ambitions.
In a published report from The Hill, we are told that Democrats on the Benghazi Committee are “now running a protection effort for the former Secretary.”  They released portions of a secret transcript containing the testimony of Clinton aide and confidante Cheryl Mills and threatened to release the full transcript via a letter to Chairman Trey Gowdy.

Gowdy spokesman Jamal Ware said of the Democrats’ actions today, “It is one thing to merely sit idly by while others do serious work, it is quite another to attempt to undercut their work with selective leaks in violation of House Rules.”

Ed Klein, author of “Unlikeable:  The Problem With Hillary”, wrote that Hillary is vulnerable but is acting as though the trouble she’s in is merely a political smear job by right-wing zealots.

He also notes that a Clinton confidante of 30 years has repeatedly advised her that “this FBI email investigation could go in a very dangerous direction very quickly” and that she should “lawyer up.”  “There is going to be blood in the water.  The investigators are looking for weak links to get to the bottom of what went on with Hillary’s national security emails and I’m afraid they will find it.”

Ambassador Chris Stevens could not be reached for comment.

White House Has No Interest In Travel Ban Despite Calls From Congress

Nearly 100 lawmakers favor placing travel restrictions on persons infected with Ebola in order to decrease the odds of entering the U.S.

At least 80 members of the House and 20 members of the Senate have said they favor banning flights that could carry passengers coming out of West Africa or temporarily rescind the visas of residents of Ebola stricken nations.

Nearly every African nation has instituted travel bans on West African countries with significant outbreaks but The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer won’t budge.

This past Friday, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said new “Ebola Czar” Ron Klain will report to former UN ambassador and current National Security Advisor Susan Rice.

As a reminder, Susan Rice is the woman who went on five Sunday talk shows to lie about a YouTube™ video being responsible for the 9/11 attack in Benghazi. She is also the same person who said alleged Army deserter and Taliban sympathizer Bowe Bergdahl served with honor and distinction.

…And There's This Sense Of Panic Because We Don't Yet Know The Scale Of The Disaster Of This Imported Chaos

For six years now, the duplicitous press poodles of the media have aided and abetted The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer in a fashion they hoped would camouflage his ineptness.  Their arrogance has cleared the way for their messiah to risk an outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus in America for his own ambitions.

Susan Rice is unequivocally unqualified to serve as National Security Advisor.  Evidence of which is demonstrated by her comments on last Sunday’s Meet The Press when she pointed a finger at other countries for the spread of Ebola:
“No, they haven't done enough. And we are pushing very hard for everybody to do more. This is going to take all hands on deck, because the goal has to be to contain this epidemic in the three countries that we've seen in West Africa to try to prevent its spread and to provide the appropriate care to those that need it.”
And now we’re discovering that CDC Director, Dr. Thomas Frieden, isn’t qualified to take your temperature.

Representatives from the CDC and the Obama Administration were notably absent from a Dallas city press conference early Wednesday morning.  The presser included remarks from Dr. Daniel Varga of Texas Health Resources Clusterfuck Central who called Ebola “an unprecedented crisis” and Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings declaring that, “It may get worse before it gets better but it will get better.”

The Dow tanked more than 400 points in midday trading Wednesday after news that a second Dallas health-care worker had contracted the deadly Ebola virus and flew on a commercial airline and the fear that more cases were now likely.

What is most galling for this observer is congressional testimony offered on September 16, 2014 by Director of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) representative, Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, who brazenly demurred that sequester-related cuts, which amounted to $1.55 billion in 2013 "eroded our ability to respond in the way that I and my colleagues would like to see us be able to respond to these emerging threats. And in my institute particularly, that’s responsible for responding on the dime to an emerging infectious disease threat, this is particularly damaging.”  His assertion proved to be patently absurd.

The UK’s Daily Mail provides an infuriating list of “highly unusual research that redirected precious funds from more conventional public health projects” like producing an Ebola vaccine in time to combat this year's epidemic:
  • The NIH budget included $2.4 million for a new condom design whose inventor is now being investigated for fraud
  • Another $939,000 taught scientists that male fruit flies prefer younger females
  • $257,000 went to create a companion website for first lady Michelle Obama's White House garden
  • It cost $592,000 to determine that chimpanzees with the best poop-flinging skills are also the best communicators, and another $117,000 to learn that most chimps are right-handed
Ebola is not a new phenomenon.  It first appeared in 1976 in South Sudan.  The second outbreak occurred in 1995 in the Democratic Republic of Congo.   The next major outbreak hit Uganda in 2000.  The DRC was stricken with yet another outbreak in 2007 and again in 2012.  In March of 2014, the World Health Organization reported a major outbreak in Guinea.  The deadly infection has metastasized enveloping Sierra Leone and Liberia.  Ebola is lethal.  Unfortunately, the seriousness of the disease has been profoundly mishandled.

Edward-Isaac Dovere at Politico (I refuse to provide a link) offers his conjecture that The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer called a cabinet meeting yesterday to discuss the government’s response to the outbreak scrapping fundraisers in New Jersey and Connecticut to avoid “the risk of embarrassing juxtapositions of dying health care workers while out campaigning.”  According to reports later that day, we learned that today’s events in Rhode Island and NYC have also been canceled.

I’ll close my rant with the remarkably satisfying carving up of this president by The Washington Times’ Joseph Curl:
Team Obama is in full panic mode—but only for political reasons.  Although the president flew to a fundraiser in Colorado on Sept. 12, 2012—just hours after four Americans were slaughtered by terrorists—Mr. Obama on Wednesday suddenly canceled plans to attend two fundraisers.  He hastily scheduled a meeting on Ebola.
That move followed another on Saturday, when The First Golfer, already in his limo preparing for yet another round of golf, delayed his outing so he could take a phone call from Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell.  The move was pure politics:  He couldn't very well take that call on the way to the course, and by staying at the White House; he was able to call in the photographers, who moved photos of him "working."
Ebola is now Mr. Obama's Katrina.  But where President George W. Bush was trying to mobilize thousands of rescue workers and tons of supplies for a surprisingly damaging hurricane, Mr. Obama could have prevented the arrival of a catastrophic illness that had been stomping across Africa for months.  With three words: "No one in."
During August, when Ebola was emerging as a worldwide threat, Mr. Obama was playing golf daily on Martha's Vineyard.  He did not direct his top advisers and Cabinet secretaries to leap into emergency mode.  No Drama Obama made it all sound like everything was peachy (while throwing salt in the wound that was Ferguson, Missouri).
But with an election just three weeks away, the president is suddenly engaged. Every day brings more announcements of blue-ribbon meetings on Ebola, more pictures of him hard at work solving the world's problems (no reporters, so no questions).  There was even sudden talk of him going to Dallas to make it all OK.
The White House has repeatedly used one word to describe the administration's response to the Ebola crisis: "Tenacious."
The real word that applies though is "mendacious." Or "fallacious." Any other claim is audacious.

From Eric Shinseki To Susan Rice: Dead Americans Do Not Live Long In The Conscience Of This Administration

On Tuesday, May 13, 2014, The Insufferable Airhorn uttered these words at the Medal of Honor ceremony for Army Sgt. Kyle White:
“Kyle, members of Chosen Company, you did your duty, and now it's time for America to do ours:  After more than a decade of war, to welcome you home with the support and the benefits and opportunities that you've earned. You make us proud, and you motivate all of us to be the best we can be as Americans, as a nation; to uphold our sacred obligations to your generation and all who have faced that ‘measure of danger’ and ‘the willingness to incur it.’"
Today, Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Ret. Gen. Eric Shinseki testified before the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee about our veterans languishing and dying on secret waiting lists.

Last month, the shocking story of the secret waiting lists came to light that centered on the Phoenix VA.  Once Dr. Sam Foote, a physician at the Phoenix VA for 24 years blew the whistle of the VA’s problems other whistleblowers came forward across the country.

During today’s testimony, Shinseki rather bloodlessly said, "Any allegation, any adverse incident like this makes me mad as hell," urging the legislators to wait for the investigation's finding before trying to resolve a complex set of problems.

His assurance that "we will act" on any substantiated allegation angered senators from both parties who insisted the problems are real and need immediate action.

Some pointed to a policy implemented by Shinseki that set a 14-day limit to provide care for veterans applying for the first time, saying a deadline they labeled as unworkable resulted in VA administrators devising ways to cover up months-long delays.  Months-long delays that resulted in the unconscionable deaths of 40 Americans who served their country with honor.

CNN’s Jake Tapper took White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough to task as he showed him a letter from Veterans Affairs Committee Chairman Jeff Miller who warned over a year ago that there existed “serious and significant patient care issues.” [emphasis mine]

The pull quote from the video:
“How many stories like this, how many letters like this, how many dead veterans do you need before somebody asks the question within the White House: Maybe this guy isn’t the best steward of these veterans?”
Dead Americans do not live long in the conscience of this Administration.  Case in point:

On Wednesday, May 14, 2014, National Security Advisor Susan Rice appeared Wednesday morning at the Women’s Foreign Policy Group in Washington, D.C.

According to reports, Rice had earlier made a joke alluding to the harm the Benghazi scandal caused to her career, prompting PBS journalist Judy Woodruff to ask about Republicans’ new allegations.

“You’re too smart for that!” Rice laughed. “Come on!”

But Woodruff pressed on, asking her what the American people can expect to be revealed as part of the House select committee on Benghazi. “What more is there that the administration has done or said that we’re not aware of?” she asked.

“Dang if I know,” Rice boldly declared.

Benghazi Deathtrap: Back-Up Was Never Coming

We heard all last week that CBS was planning on airing a segment on “60 Minutes” about the al-Qaeda assault on the consulate in Benghazi in which four Americans were murdered after being abandoned by the United States government.

Figuring it would be the usual fare of propaganda and cover-up that is the hallmark of CBS and the rest of the central planning stenographers; I made a decision to DVR it and watch the Green Bay Packers play the Minnesota Vikings instead.

We know that The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer watched the assault from the White House in real time.

The attack began at 9:40 PM (3:40PM Washington time) and ended around 4:00AM (10:00PM Washington time).  This was in the middle of the business day and everybody was watching in the White House, CIA, State Department and the Pentagon.

The Liar-in-Chief was one of those in the Situation Room watching.  He was front and center in this travesty.

In the open for the segment Lara Logan said,
“When Chris Stevens was killed in Benghazi, Libya, on the anniversary of September 11th last year, it was only the sixth time that the United States had lost an ambassador to its enemies. The events of that night have been overshadowed by misinformation, confusion and intense partisanship. But for those who lived through it, there's nothing confusing about what happened, and they share a sense of profound frustration because they say they saw it coming.”
Notice that Logan’s narrative omits the names of Hillary Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama.

Logan rejoins to her producer, Max McClellan that this highly charged story has political implications and she was concerned about the “extraordinary amount of pressure” being placed on “people involved not to talk.”
“In this story, you had to work really hard to find the facts and not be seduced by anybody. So, we left about 98 percent of what we learned on the floor—didn't even report it—because unless we could substantiate it with primary sources that we truly trusted and whose motivations we trusted, then we didn't even go there.”
The administration cracked down hard on leakers.  No one wanted to put anything in writing.  Everybody was terrified to talk about the filthy lies told over and over again by the White House and Hillary Clinton.  Everybody, that is, except Andy Woods and Deputy Chief of Mission in Libya, Gregory Hicks.

When four Americans were killed in a flash of hatred and barbarism in Benghazi 388 days ago the political finger-pointing began.  Few knew exactly what happened that night.

This president and his former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, do know.  They have covered up and obfuscated the truth.

The guard who spoke with CBS noted that Al Qaeda tried to kill a British ambassador in Benghazi three months before the attack on the anniversary of 9/11. He added that the terror group said online that it would attack the Red Cross, the British, and then the Americans in Benghazi.

From September 12, 2012 until today this administration has attempted to fend of criticism that “someone” gave the order to stand down.

Fighter jets could have been at Benghazi in an hour.  Commandos could have arrived within three hours according to former Marine Corps officer and Reagan Administration senior Pentagon officer Francis “Bing” West.  No forces were dispatched from Sigonella.

The noose is tightening.  The herd of possible culprits is thinning.

Fried Rice

Three days ago “the paper of record”, The New York Times, published a scathing report on Susan Rice saying that “during her career, she has shown a surprising and unsettling sympathy for Africa’s despots.”  Many of these leaders have tried on the strongman’s cloak and found that it fit nicely.

Just nine days before the slaughters of U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans in Benghazi, Rice was in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to eulogize a man she described as “a true friend to me”.  She praised the Prime Minister, Meles Zanawi, as “brilliant, a son of Ethiopia and a father to its rebirth.”

Zanawi’s security forces were known to indiscriminately kill, imprison and torture civilians suspected of aiding Ogaden rebels.  The Ogaden rebels were responsible for attacking a site operated by China’s Zhongyuan Petroleum Exploration Bureau, killing nine Chinese workers and 65 Ethiopians.

Today, we learned that poor, defenseless Rice is dropping out of the running to be the next Secretary of State after months of scathing criticism over her Benghazi comments on all five Sunday talk shows on September 16, 2012.
“If nominated, I am now convinced that the confirmation process would be lengthy, disruptive and costly—to you and to our most pressing national and international priorities,” Rice wrote in a letter to President Obama, saying she’s saddened by the partisan politics surrounding her prospects.  “That trade-off is simply not worth it to our country…Therefore, I respectfully request that you no longer consider my candidacy at this time.”
If you’ll remember, on November 15th of this year, The Chicago Messiah puffed up after Rice came under fire saying, “If Sen. McCain and Sen. Graham and others want to go after somebody they should go after me.  For them to go after the UN ambassador who had nothing to do with Benghazi…to besmirch her reputation is outrageous.”

No, hoss.  That’s not outrageous.  Outrageous is when your regime has successfully managed to avoid explaining your stunning cowardice by never sending help to save the brave men you left to die at the hands of Libyan barbarians who belong to al-Qaeda.

The Messiah’s reaction to Rice’s announcement:
“While I deeply regret the unfair and misleading attacks on Susan Rice in recent weeks, her decision demonstrates the strength of her character, and an admirable commitment to rise above the politics of the moment to put our national interests first.  The American people can be proud to have a public servant of her caliber and character representing our country.”
Something stinks on ice in the West Wing over the Benghazi coverup.  Many conservatives describe the coverup as being worse than Watergate.  Former CIA Director, Gen. David Petraeus, asserted that his talking points were altered between his office and the Oval Office.  Secretary of State Hillary Clinton,  has thus far shied away from the Benghazi conflagration but is slated to head to Capitol Hill next week to testify before both House and Senate Foreign Relations Committees.  The corporate-controlled media bobble-head dolls and groupthink poodles of the press corps have largely managed to abet this regime by keeping the wagons circled.

I sincerely believe the truth will now emerge on Benghazi.  News like this virtually assures that this regime’s dereliction of duty, astonishing cowardice and penchant for lying will see the light of day.
