UNPEACHED: Odds and Ends

What The Hell Is All This Goofy Stuff?

James Carville, the guy who’s uglier than a mud fence and a former political strategist for Bubba Clinton, told MSDNC the Democrats are “flirting with disaster”.

Picture It: September 2020, The First Presidential Debate Against Trump

Two days ago, the vaunted Quinnipiac University National Poll released its latest polling data.

Polling analyst Mary Snow noted, “In the blink of an eye, the post-debate surge for Sen. Kamala Harris fades and former Vice President Joseph Biden regains his footing among Democratic presidential contenders.  Electability remains his strongest pull.  Across the board, Biden remains by far the Democrat seen as having the best chance of defeating President Trump.”

Biden leads the pack with 34% of Democrats and independent voters who lean Democrat.  Warren is next with 15%, Harris at 12% and the guy who combs his hair with a balloon comes in at 11%.

Rounding out the Democrat field are Alfred E. Newman with 6%, Skateboard Jesus and Ying-Yang with 2% each.  Four other candidates have garnered 1% and the other 14 wannabes haven’t moved the needle.

It’s a long, long way from the Democratic nomination, but President Trump has repeatedly said he hopes “Sleepy Joe” will “limp across the line”.  The President believes he would “easily” beat Biden in 2020.

In an April tweet the President wrote, “I look forward to facing whoever it may be.  May God Rest Their Soul!”

Biden won’t be able to ask President Trump to “go easy on him” like he did of Kamala Harris during the debates in Detroit last month.  If he thought defending his record on health care, criminal justice, immigration, working mothers, the war in Iraq and his “service” in the World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer’s White House was challenging he ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

His presidential bids unraveled in 1988 and 2008 and his well-documented history of confusing and downright embarrassing gaffes and misstatements will most certainly end up working against him.

President Trump is clearly looking forward to debating Joey Plugs and so is everyone else.

His Ego Is So Big It Takes Up The Entire State Of Ohio

John Kasich never missed a chance to mention that his dad was a mailman. If he had a nickel for every time he mentioned his father’s job, he might be able to retire with the equivalent of a generous postal service pension. The references have been a staple of his public addresses and interviews for years and invariably made everyone loathe this NeverTrumper.

In March of 2016, “Little Marco” Rubio ended his bid for the presidency.  Kasich found himself stuck in fourth place in a three-man race.  Voters were not flocking to Kasich’s campaign and his irksome refusal to drop out of the race drew the consternation of many in the GOP.

Having earned a paltry 154 delegates and winning only one primary, his home state of Ohio, he reluctantly suspended his campaign two months later.

With the 2018 Midterm Election now over, the 2020 White House race officially gets underway in New Hampshire and the other early primary and caucus states.

The first politician to visit the Granite State was none other than “Pancake Johnny”.  He thought the best way to win votes was to eat his way across America.  His hypnotizing appetite was something to behold.  Now that he’s no longer Ohio’s governor, he’ll have plenty of time to flap his gums and give tutorials on how to eat a pickle.

During a visit to New Hampshire he was asked whether he’d run in 2020:

Bring It Holder! You’re Gonna Get Slimed!

Bill Murray starred in the role of Dr. Peter Venkman, PhD in the 1984 Ghostbusters and 1989 Ghostbusters II movies─the story of four scientists who answered the call to save New York.

In Ghostbusters II, the crew meet up with Vigo the Carpathian, a real nasty repeating phantasm who comes to life in a painting.

Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder AKA Vigo, has repeatedly said in recent months he is considering a run for president in 2020.

“In 2020, you could do something to do be a part of the solution of the things you’ve been talking about,” the Washington Post’s Jonathan Capeheart said during a sit-down interview with the former AG. “Why do you feel at least a flicker in the belly to even think about running for president?”

Holder responded, “Well, because I care a great deal about this country. I’ve spent the vast majority of my professional life in public service. I think I’ve got ideas that I hope would resonate with the American people. I think I’ve got the guts to potentially do the things that I think the next president would have to do.”

“This is not a time to be half-stepping; this is a time to deal with a changing America. An America that will be wounded by the experience that we are presently going through. So, it is all of those things. It doesn’t mean that ultimately, I’m going to do it. I’m certainly going to be involved in what happens in 2020. But I care about this country. I care about the way in which people in this nation are treated. I care about the notion of fairness, of equality,” he added.
Today, this arrogant sumbitch tweeted:
Good grief, man.  Don’t you realize you quoted the president who signed Executive Order 9066 which authorized the mass forced removal of 110,000 Japanese Americans on the West Coast to inland internment camps?

This was the same president who directed the German oceanliner St. Louis carrying 937 passengers, all of whom were Jews fleeing the Nazi Third Reich, to turn away from the port of Miami and return to Europe to face the Holocaust.

According to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, “Sailing so close to Florida that they could see the lights of Miami, some passengers on the St. Louis cabled President Franklin D. Roosevelt asking for refuge. Roosevelt never responded. The State Department and the White House had decided not to take extraordinary measures to permit the refugees to enter the United States. A State Department telegram sent to a passenger stated that the passengers must ‘await their turns on the waiting list and qualify for and obtain immigration visas before they may be admissible into the United States.’"

When Holder resigned, Darrell Issa (R-CA) Chairman of the House Oversight Committee at the time, called him “the most divisive U.S. Attorney General in modern history. Time and again, Eric Holder administered justice as the political activist he describes himself as instead of an unbiased law enforcement official.  By needlessly injecting politics into law enforcement, Attorney General Holder’s legacy has eroded more confidence in our legal system than an attorney general before him.”

Holder unilaterally decided to try 9/11 terrorists in New York City, he allowed thousands of weapons to “walk” into the hands of Mexican drug cartels, he failed to enforce the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), he was held in contempt of Congress for withholding Fast and Furious documents, he targeted Fox News reporter James Rosen as a co-conspirator seizing his phone and computer records, he unfairly targeted business owners in Operation Choke Point, he failed to investigate the IRS for targeting conservative and Tea Party groups, he aggressively intervened in the Ferguson debacle before there was any evidence of mishandling by the Ferguson Police Department touching off days and days of rioting.

Particularly galling about Holder’s most recent tweet is the dripping hypocrisy of April 22, 2000 when Immigration and Naturalization Services began to mace, kick, stomp and gun-butt their way into the home of Elian Gonzalez’s legal custodians to wrench a bawling 6-year-old boy from the arms of his family at gunpoint and bundle him off to Fidel Castro’s terror-sponsoring shithole fiefdom leaving 102 people injured, some seriously.

So, if Holder is seriously contemplating a run for President in 2020, he should know straight up he’s gonna get slimed by the Holderbuster; something he richly deserves.

Former Clinton Circus Midget Takes Denial To A Preposterous Level

On May 4, former Clinton Labor Secretary Robert Reichhhhhhhhhh (BTW that's not a typo) cross-posted a piece from his blog to Salon.  He began by asking, “Why did working class voters choose a selfish, thin-skinned, petulant, lying, narcissistic, boastful, megalomaniac for president?”
Reich is searching for ways to prevent having “future Trumps as far as the eye can see.” He admits, “Hillary Clinton offered a plethora of small-bore policy proposals — all sensible but none big enough to make a difference. If Democrats really want to stop Trump, they will need to address the causes of Trump’s rise.”
Nine days later, the Clinton flunky who’s never been right about anything, tweeted the following account of a phone conversation he had with a “friend” he claims is a former Republican member of Congress.
If you’re a “deplorable” like me, you’ll just point and laugh at the little squirt who Rush Limbaugh mocked for his absurd policies, diminutive 4’11” stature and exaggerated sense of self-importance.

When Doody Calls

“My father was a mailman.”
That bit of idyllic family history has me wondering why no other offspring of mailmen have sought to run for president.  Obviously, John Kasich distinguishes himself as the pick of the litter; uniquely qualified and profoundly prepared to lead the country.
Seth McLaughlin, Politics Desk Reporter for The Washington Times wrote, “From his perch in the Ohio governor’s mansion, Republican John Kasich is keeping a keen eye on President Trump’s every move and showing a willingness—some say eagerness—to hurl rotten tomatoes toward the leader of his Party when he gets upset with the act.”

“He has become a go-to anti-Trump source for the media and often doesn’t even wait for the press to call. Instead, he leaps in to pile on after presidential missteps.”
“While insisting he wants Mr. Trump to succeed, Mr. Kasich has pointedly refused to rule out mounting a primary challenge against the president in 2020. He said he wants to maintain a voice in the party because ‘you never know when duty calls.’”
Kasich is a rude SOB.  Ask the Ohio State trooper he called “an idiot” when he ticketed him for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle; or the crusade he went on making sure his local Blockbuster store took the film “Fargo” off its shelves.
“Usually, I speak out against the status quo on behalf of the little guy, but sometimes I get a little crazy and go off about something like this Fargo business, with no real expectation but to let off some steam. I can’t imagine it’s all that much fun to be on the receiving end of one of my tirades, but I’m here to tell you it isn’t much fun to be making the delivery either.”
Kasich is a hothead.  While on the campaign trail during the 2016 presidential election, he got angry and grabbed a recorder from a reporter for The Financial Times who made the mistake of asking why he should be the nominee of the Republican Party having won only one state.
Kasich has a long history of uttering gaffes. He showed off his love for Hispanics by saying he always leaves a nice note for the Latina maids at hotels. A month after that comment, he said anyone who would have problems with his cuts to social security should “get over it.” Kasich praised all the women who came out of the kitchen to vote for him during his first political run in the 1970s.
While campaigning in New York, he took it upon himself to condescendingly explain Bible stories to rabbinic scholars.
His most covered gaffe was when he advised a young woman worried about the college rape epidemic to avoid alcohol-fueled parties.
“Kasich eating” was one of the top Internet searches during the campaign.  Then-candidate Trump scorched the mailman’s son proclaiming, “I have never seen a human being eat in such a disgusting fashion.”
The Ohio governor has no plans to challenge Democrat Sen. Sherrod Brown who is up for re-election this year, but the chatter for the 2020 presidential election has heated up.  “There has to be fundamental chance, in my opinion, with all of us.  I’m willing to be a part of that.  I want my voice to be out there,” Kasich said.
The pick of the mailman’s litter has spoken.

The Purge: What Do You Wear To A Donkey Funeral?

According to a published report from NBC News, “A shake-up is underway at the Democratic National Committee as several key longtime officials have lost their posts, exposing a still-raw rift in the party and igniting anger among those in its progressive wing who see retaliation for their opposition to DNC Chairman Tom Perez.”
The report continues, “The removal and demotion of a handful of veteran operatives stood out, as did what critics charge is the over-representation of Clinton-backed members on the Rules and Bylaws Committee, which helps set the terms for the party's presidential primary, though other Sanders and Ellison backers remain represented.”
The ousters come ahead of the DNC's first meeting in Las Vegas this week.
Complaints began immediately after party officials saw a list of Perez's appointments to DNC committees and his roster of 75 "at-large" members, who are chosen by the chair.
Superdelegates not only vote on who the presidential Democratic nominee will be, but also vote on party rules.  The party operatives that are planned to be named as superdelegates include holdovers from Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.  The group also includes union leaders and, for good measure, an illegal alien.
Those who have been pushed out include:
Ray Buckley, the New Hampshire Democratic chairman and longtime DNC official who ran against Perez for chair before backing Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn. Buckley lost his spots on the Executive Committee and DNC Rules Committee.
James Zogby, the president of the Arab American Institute and prominent Sanders backer, is no longer co-chair of the Resolutions Committee and is off the Executive Committee, a spot he has held since 2001.
Alice Germond, who has been on the DNC since the 1980s, was a vocal Ellison backer, was removed from her at-large appointment to the DNC.
Barbra Casbar Siperstein, the Party’s first transgender member supported Ellison and Buckley, was tossed from the Executive Committee.
Two days ago, the RNC sent out an email blast of a fake schedule for the DNC’s fall meeting mocking the problems Dems are having refighting the 2016 presidential election.
The mock schedule announced that to RSVP, one should email party chairman "Professor Tom Perez" at Thomas.Perez@brown.edu, taking a swipe at Perez's fellowship at the notoriously left-wing Brown University.
The first item on the agenda are opening remarks from Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.), who is in fact scheduled to speak at the "Women's Convention" later in the month.  The next day includes presentations entitled, "Where is Michigan?: A geographical presentation of what exists between New York and Los Angeles," "No Money, Mo Problems: Investments the DNC would like to make─but can’t" and "The Menendez Mess: How to keep a convicted felon in the United States Senate."
On Day 3, presentations include "Weinstein Shopping Spree: How to spend the $300,000 in money we won’t return from Harvey Weinstein," "Litmus Tests Over Lunch: A guest lecture by Brown University Professor Tom Perez on banishing pro-life Democrats and mandating support for single-payer," "Moral Victories: Jon Ossoff (GA-06), Rob Quist (MT-AL), Archie Parnell (SC-5), Jim Thompson (KS-4) discuss why they actually won their special elections" and "Impeachment or Else: Billionaire donor Tom Steyer lays out his requirement that candidates back a baseless impeachment effort that alienates the vast majority of voters."
