I Never Cast A Vote I Was Prouder Of

Former President Slick Willy traveled to Albany as an elector from Westchester County, New York to vote for Granny in the Electoral College.  Governor Andrew Cuomo noted in an interview following the vote, “It couldn’t be easy for him to go through this proceeding to see the Electoral College elect his wife but to know there’s a different outcome for the nation.”

After the vote the “big dog” called the moment bittersweet adding, “I’ve never cast a vote I was prouder of.”

Not since Quasimodo wandered the streets of Paris have people uttered the words, “Poor man.”

On the surface his vote appeared touching but nobody believes their marriage is anything other than one gigantic charade deserving of these mocktastic tweets:

Fractured Fairy Tales: The Ghost Of Elections Past

Our tale begins on a bleak winter night in a little town in New York State.  As we look inside the closely guarded residence, we find our protagonist slouching on a sofa watching an episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reeking of boiled cabbage, urine and farts. Friends and associates often encouraged her to take a shower once in a while, but always to no avail.

On this very night our subject was visited by Alinsky’s ghost who is forever cursed to wander the earth dragging a network of heavy chains forged from a lifetime of radical activism, Marxism and a penchant for the politics of personal destruction.

The war on Christmas had miraculously been declared over and for reasons known only to him he appears before his acolyte to give her the opportunity for redemption and a chance to escape his fate.

The apparition’s appearance was startling at first transforming into skepticism.  Alinksy moans and groans with impatience.  He explains that the chains he labors to carry were forged by him in life and her chains were more ponderous because of her greed and lies and selfishness.

Alinsky arranges for three spirits to visit her:  the ghosts of elections past, present and future.

At the stroke of midnight the Ghost of Elections Past recounted her failure to break some fictitious glass ceiling, her 19 political scandals and standing by her man when he was impeached. 

At the stroke of one there appeared another visitor, the Ghost of Elections Present.  This spirit took poor Hillary by the hand pointing to the depth of her weaknesses as a candidate, her lying and corruption. He mocked her declaring, “You lost yet again.  This is getting embarrassing.”

Poor Hillary was devastated to hear how unfit to be president she really was, but the torment did not end there for at the stroke of two there appeared a horrifying ghost, the Ghost of Elections Future.

Draped in black from head to toe, the ghost foretold of a life without campaigns, campaign donations and hangers-on from Hollywood to the Hamptons.  Hillary began sobbing violently.

Hillary awoke the next morning changed by the visitations during the night.  She decided to write a book for Dummies and titled it How To Lose Bigly to Trump and promised to go off into the sunset never again to call those who did not support her as a basket of deplorables.  The newly reborn Hillary would shed her grumpy “Bah Trumps” and never seek public office again.

And the people were filled with extraordinary optimism.  God bless us, every one!

The End?

Nothing Is Over Until We Decide It Is!

John Conyers (D-MI), the 26-term congressman representing Congressional District 13 (metropolitan Detroit), penned an editorial in USA Today calling for an amendment to the Constitution which would do away with the Electoral College.

“…some Electoral College defenders argue that direct elections for president could lead to messy nationwide vote recounts. Our experience in Florida in 2000, and Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin this year, have taught us that statewide recounts under differing and confusing rules bring neither clarity nor finality to our electoral process. By contrast, a national popular vote is historically far more likely to establish a clear winner, avoiding the necessity of recounts altogether.”

When Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein requested recounts in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, Conyers’ district saw 238 precincts tabulated more Election Day votes than people who were counted as checking in to vote.  The affected precincts represent 37% of the city’s 662 precincts.  The discrepancy became national news.

Article 2 of the US Constitution sets up the Electoral College. It assigns votes to states by the size of their congressional delegation: Each state gets two electors—just as they get two senators—in addition to those apportioned by population. The result weights the outcome in such a way that electoral votes cast by the most populous states are worth a fraction of those cast by smallest states:  One Wyoming electoral college vote represents 143,000 people; the ratio is 1:500,000 for California.

California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas have the most electoral votes.  Sixteen states have between 3 and 5.  Traditionally blue states like Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, Virginia and Wisconsin have between 10 and 15 electoral votes.

That’s the difference between “spectator” states and “battleground” states.

Before he appeared on MSNBC’s All In with Chris Hayes on Friday night liberal film maker Michael Moore tweeted:

The tweet linked to a Facebook post where the blob of lard, wrapped in blubber and slathered in grease expressed his conviction that enough so-called “faithless electors” would somehow deny Trump the White House.

“Get over it and pull yourself together. The tanks are 20 miles outside of Paris! Throw everything you got at this and do not relent. You’re in the friggin’ majority! Let’s act like it. Make your voice heard on social media and in front of your state capitol. An authoritarian regime is about to take hold in DC, and they are going to run roughshod over you, me and all that is good. Get over your election depression and fight like you’ve never fought before. Non-violently. With conviction. There are more of us than there are of them. Only 23% of all registered adult American voters showed up and voted for Trump. Come on! It’s not over til it’s over.”

Talk about mentally challenged.  That line about “tanks are 20 miles outside of Paris” doesn’t help his point.  It’s tantamount to willful ignorance. The last time tanks were 20 miles outside of Paris was on Bastille Day with its traditional military parade along the Champs-Elysées on July 14, 2016.

On Monday, December 19th the Electoral College finally put the 2016 election out of its misery—ironically exactly 18 years to the day after Hillary’s husband was impeached

George Soros’ Stealth Plan To Subvert The Constitution

By sidestepping an essential provision of the United States Constitution Progressives, led by über liberal George Soros, seek that which they cannot obtain under the current open election rules, a lock on the Presidency.

The Center for Voting and Democracy, a Soros-funded election group, received seed money from the Joyce Foundation.  The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer was on the board from July 1994 until December 2002.

The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact would mandate that once states totaling 270 electoral votes join the compact that all the states give their electoral votes to the presidential candidate who wins the national popular vote nullifying the Electoral College without a constitutional amendment.

On April 15th, New York’s Gov. Cuomo signed on to the bill adding the state to a list of others joining the stealth movement.  The other jurisdictions include California, the District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington.

From Cuomo’s official statement upon signing the bill:

”I am particularly heartened to sign this legislation as it embodies both in process and substance the Empire State’s tradition as a national progressive leader,” Gov. Cuomo said of the news. “I am pleased to add New York to the growing list of states who have joined together to make this reform a reality.”

This bill is an end run around the regular constitutional amending process. Instead of requiring a two-thirds majority of each house of Congress and three-quarters of the states, this proposal would take effect when a simple majority approves it.

And the Electoral College system, which has been part of our representative republic, will be modified and converted to a pure democracy.

This proposal would encourage even more voter fraud in more populated, left-leaning states; and provide more incentive to allow illegal immigrants to vote.

It would effectively end “one man, one vote” and dispatch our republic to mob rule.
