On March 30, 2017 Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley sent a letter to then-Secretary of State Rex Tillerson:

The Bureau of Diplomatic Security is the administrative body within the State Department that handles security clearance investigations, suspensions, and if needed, revocations. During the course of the Committee’s investigation into Secretary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information and the impact of her private server on the Freedom of Information Act, on February 16, 2016 then-Assistant Secretary of State for Diplomatic Security Greg Starr met with Committee staff. Assistant Director Starr informed my staff that Secretary Clinton’s security clearance, and those of her staff, had not been suspended or revoked because Diplomatic Security was waiting until the FBI concluded its criminal investigation before beginning an administrative review. On March 24, 2016, Committee staff met again with Mr. Starr and asked the same questions and received the same responses. I have repeatedly [emphasis mine] asked the State Department whether Secretary Clinton and her associates had their clearances suspended or revoked to which the Obama Administration refused to respond.[1] Recently, the State Department informed the Committee that six additional Secretary Clinton staff at State were designated as her research assistants which allowed them to retain their clearances after leaving the Department.

On July 5, 2016, Director Comey announced that “after a tremendous amount of work over the last year, the FBI is completing its investigation and referring the case to the Department of Justice for a prosecutive decision.”[2] Director Comey stated that Secretary Clinton and staff were “extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information” and “there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information…”[3] Director Comey said,

There is evidence to support a conclusion that any reasonable person in Secretary Clinton’s position, or in the position of those with whom she was corresponding about the matters, should have known that an unclassified system was no place for that conversation.[4]

However, Director Comey did not recommend criminal prosecution. In announcing that decision, he also noted that “to be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions.”[5]

It is unclear what steps the State Department has taken to impose administrative sanctions.

After two years Senator Grassley finally received a response from Charles S. Faulkner, Acting Assistant Secretary, Legislative Affairs for the State Department stating, ”At her request, former Secretary Clinton’s security clearance was administratively withdrawn on August 30, 2018.  On September 20, 2018 security clearances for Cheryl Mills, aaaaaaaa aaaaaaaa aaaaaaaa and aaa aaaa. As we previously informed the Committee, these individuals had been granted access to classified information through a request made by Secretary Clinton designating them as researchers, per E.O. 13526, Sec. 4.4(a)(2).

So, three-and-a-half years — or 1,279 days — after The New York Times exposed her use of a private email server to conduct official U.S. diplomatic business, she finally lost her security clearance.

In the months after the Times story, subsequent reporting disclosed that Clinton had sent and received more than 50,000 emails using the private server and private email addresses. When the government asked her for copies of the emails, she claimed an estimated 33,000 of them were personal and were thus not turned over to investigators.

Clinton may yet be required to submit to cross-examination on the email scandal under oath as a result of litigation originally filed by nonprofit government watchdog, Judicial Watch.

In August of this year, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders announced former CIA Director John Brennan’s security clearance had been revoked and also named other current and former officials President Trump would target with clearance removals. The list includes former FBI Director James Comey, former National Security Advisor Susan Rice, former FBI agent Peter Strzok, former FBI lawyer Lisa Page and Justice Department official Bruce Ohr, among others.

Epic Battle: The “America Last” Crowd Versus The “America First” President

Was President Trump’s press conference in Helsinki a regrettable misstep?  It sure felt like it at the time.  The upshot was an isolated president in a state of serious tension with his Director of National Intelligence, Dan Coats, and a rich target of hysterical criticism.

Chris Strohm and Jennifer Jacobs, in a published report at Bloomberg Politics wrote, “President Donald Trump gave the go-ahead to announce new Russian election-hacking indictments before his meeting with Vladimir Putin rather than after in the hopes it would strengthen his hand in the talks, according to accounts from people familiar with the decision.”

Despite his dismal showing in Helsinki, President Trump’s policies on Russia have been the right ones and far stronger than those of his predecessors (see video embedded below).

In July of 2017, for example, President Trump visited Krasinski Square in Warsaw, Poland before going to the G20 Summit in Hamburg, Germany.  Krasinski Square, in 1944, was the site where members of the Polish Underground battled Nazi forces for 63 days while the Soviet Army waited on the far side of the Vistula River.  Some 200,000 people died during the rebellion.

In his speech, Trump publicly endorsed NATO’s Article 5, which calls for the alliance to defend any member that comes under attack and he called for Russia to “cease its destabilizing activities in Ukraine and elsewhere.” He also expressed support for the Polish-led Three Seas initiative, which aims to reduce dependence on Russian energy supplies to Poland and other nations and serves as a counterweight to EU influence in Central Europe. (The identical sentiment he expressed at the 2018 NATO Summit in Brussels.)

In March of 2018, Poland signed the largest arms procurement deal in its history on Wednesday, agreeing with the United States to buy Raytheon’s Patriot Missile Defense System for $4.75 billion in a major step to modernize its forces against a bolder Russia.

In Obama’s first year in office, he decided to scuttle a long-range missile defense system in the Czech Republic and Poland. Russians cheered the decision and Putin called Obama’s move "correct and brave."

In May of this year, the President terminated the United States’ participation the Iran Nuclear Plan known by the long-winded name, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). 

Over the past year, military coordination between Moscow and Tehran has also intensified. Qassem Soleimani, the flamboyant head of Iran’s elite Quds Force, a branch of the Revolutionary Guards that is roughly equivalent to American Special Operations Forces, was the front man on military coordination between the two nations, especially in Syria, beginning in 2015. Contacts now go much higher. In November of 2017, the Chief of Staff of Russia’s armed forces, General Valery Gerasimov, flew to Tehran for talks with his Iranian counterpart, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, a former military intelligence expert in the Revolutionary Guards who now oversees both the Guards and the regular Iranian Army, Navy, and Air Force.

“There is good military cooperation between Iran and Russia, and, of course, there are many areas for expanding cooperation,” Bagheri declared. The two military chiefs are in increasing contacts with one another.

For decades now, the Russian bear has continually been sinking its mighty energy claws into Europe and Germany. Despite long promising to "get off Russian energy," Gazprom sales to Europe hit an all-time record last year and Europe is still the largest buyer of Russian oil.  Hence, the fiasco at this year’s NATO Summit where President Trump declared to Germany’s Angela Merkel, “We’re supposed to protect you from Russia, but Germany is making pipeline deals with Russia. You tell me if that’s appropriate. Explain that.”

You get my drift.  Our President has been tough on Russia and he’s being tough on the Pravda-like media complex threatening us right here at home.

Immediately following the conclusion of the joint press conference in Helsinki, Obama’s CIA Director, John Brennan manically tweeted this which exposes the demented malice of the Obama Administration:

Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of “high crimes & misdemeanors.” It was nothing short of treasonous. Not only were Trump’s comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin. Republican Patriots: Where are you???

Brennan, who supported the Soviet-controlled American Communist Party, meets the textbook definition of a useful idiot for the Russians. At the height of the Cold War, he cast his vote in 1976 for Gus Hall, the American Communist Party’s presidential candidate. He refused to take his Oath of Office on the Bible during his swearing-in ceremony.

Brennan deplored Ronald Reagan’s description of the Soviet Union as an evil empire and joined other leftists in demanding that he pursue détente with Marxist thugs who make Putin look like a piker. During his time as Obama’s CIA Director he sanitized the concept of jihad and constantly whitewashed Islamic terrorism.

Now that he’s left the armchair comfort of the CIA he has resumed the radicalism of his youth by calling for civil disobedience and the overthrow of a duly elected president.

Treachery thy name is John Brennan.

“As for the left-wing media tools, they are equally disoriented by the successes Trump is racking up with alacrity–so disoriented that they are self-destructing before our eyes.  Any montage of the not-analysts on CNN and MSNBC throughout the last few days reveals a full group meltdown of monstrous proportions.  Their shark-jumping criticism of Trump over the Putin press conference has made their mania over the border look like a toddler tantrum.  This time they have exposed themselves for who they really are: terrified, ignorant, blinkered narcissists discovering they are completely irrelevant.  We should all be eternally grateful for the truthful analysts, like Stephen F. With All This Manure, There Must Be A Pony Somewhere!

Former CIA Director John Brennan is not your garden variety liar. Brennan is the kind of man who feels quite content to brazenly mislead the American people and then shamelessly lecture us about integrity, decency, wisdom and humility.

Brennan's eagerness to deceive and his long record of supporting radical and unaccountable powers was never more evident than when he cast his vote for Gus Hall, head of the Communist Party USA─the Kremlin’s man in Washington─for President of the United States during the Leonid Brezhnev era.

Brezhnev and Yuro Andropov, KGB chief, were giving the light to Mehmet Ali Ağca to assassinate Pope John Paul II in 1981.

Two of Hall’s most notorious quotes include:

“There’s no question that the United States will become a socialist country. It’s as inevitable as the sun rising tomorrow.”

“We want to overthrow the capitalist system. But the means that we have chosen are ones of mass education and propaganda. We have our newspaper and we appear on talk shows and we will take part in elections.”

Brennan took part in those elections when he cast his vote for the “cause”.

I said all that to say this:  The irony of Brennan’s latest screed in The Washington Post is breathtaking.

The presidents I directly served were not perfect, and I didn’t agree with all of their policy choices. But I never doubted that each treated their solemn responsibility to lead our nation with anything less than the seriousness, intellectual rigor and principles that it deserved. Many times, I heard them dismiss the political concerns of their advisers, saying, “I don’t care about my politics, it’s the right thing to do.”

The esteem with which I held the presidency was dealt a serious blow when Donald Trump took office. Almost immediately, I began to see a startling aberration from the remarkable, though human, presidents I had served. Mr. Trump’s lifelong preoccupation with aggrandizing himself seemed to intensify in office, and he quickly leveraged his 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. address and his Twitter handle to burnish his brand and misrepresent reality.

Presidents throughout the years have differed in their approaches to policy, based on political platforms, ideologies and individual beliefs. Mr. Trump, however, has shown highly abnormal behavior by lying routinely to the American people without compunction, intentionally fueling divisions in our country and actively working to degrade the imperfect but critical institutions that serve us.

Although appalling, those actions shouldn’t be surprising. As was the case throughout his business and entertainment careers, Mr. Trump charts his every move according to a calculus of how it will personally help or hurt him. His strategy is to undercut real, potential and perceived opponents; his focus is to win at all costs, irrespective of truth, ethics, decency and—many would argue—the law. His disparagement of institutions is designed to short-circuit legitimate law enforcement investigations, intelligence assessments and media challenges that threaten his interests. His fear of the special counsel’s work is especially palpable, as is his growing interest in destroying its mandate.

For more than three decades, I observed and analyzed the traits and tactics of corrupt, incompetent and narcissistic foreign officials who did whatever they thought was necessary to retain power. Exploiting the fears and concerns of their citizenry, these demagogues routinely relied on lies, deceit and suppression of political opposition to cast themselves as populist heroes and to mask self-serving priorities. By gaining control of intelligence and security services, stifling the independence of the judiciary and discrediting a free press, these authoritarian rulers followed a time-tested recipe for how to inhibit democracy’s development, retard individual freedoms and liberties, and reserve the spoils of corrupt governance for themselves and their ilk. It never dawned on me that we could face such a development in the United States. [Leon Trotsky, your office is calling.]

On the international front, Mr. Trump pursues policies that are rooted in uninformed campaign promises, a determination to upend actions of his predecessors and an aversion to multilateral engagements. His ad hoc and frequently impulsive approach to national security is short-sighted and dangerous, as allies and partners are left uncertain about U.S. strategy and objectives.

The impact of the Trump presidency will be felt for many years to come. Most worrisome is that his use of falsehoods, his mean-spirited and malicious behavior, and his self-absorption will be emulated by many young Americans—indeed, young people globally who look to the President of the United States as a role model.

The damage also will be felt by the millions of Americans who believe in Mr. Trump because of their concern about being left behind in a rapidly changing globalized world. These Americans have a legitimate gripe that politicians and political parties of all stripes have failed to deliver on the promise that America is the land of opportunity for all, irrespective of race, creed or place of residence. At a time when deep-seated fears of socioeconomic and cultural change need to be addressed honestly and without prejudice, Mr. Trump grandstands like a snake-oil salesman, squandering his formidable charisma and communication skills in favor of ego, selfishness and false promises.

Many have condemned my public criticism of Mr. Trump, arguing that as a former CIA director, I should bite my tongue. My criticisms, however, are not political; I have never been and will never be a partisan. [Throwing the bullshit flag here.] I speak out for the simple reason that Mr. Trump is failing to live up to the standards that we should all expect of a president.

As someone who had the rare privilege of directly serving four presidents, I will continue to speak out loudly and critically until integrity, decency, wisdom—and maybe even some humility—return to the White House.

I have to hand it to the komrade with the bitchy resting face, his line of bullshit is elegantly Trotskyesque.

Stefan Halper, Director of American Studies at Cambridge University and a partner at Cambridge Security Initiative along with former MI-6 chief Sir Richard Dearlove is the informant spook who provided information to the CIA and FBI for the Russia investigation before and after Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s appointment on May 17, 2017.

It has now been confirmed the Trump campaign was subjected to spying tactics via FISA surveillance, national security letters and covert intelligence operatives who work with the CIA and allied intelligence agencies.

CNN, NBC, The Washington Post and New York Times are more nervous than a virgin at a prison rodeo awaiting the release of the much-anticipated Department of Justice Inspector General’s report on the FBI and DOJ’s investigation and handling of the Hillary Clinton email probe.

The Clinton report is expected to be followed by a third report on the IG’s investigation into the FBI and DOJ’s handling of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) application on Carter Page, a former volunteer for the Trump campaign. The IG announced this investigation in March.

The good Roger Simon bluntly wrote, “What is being exposed now is an attempt by our highest law enforcement agency working in concert with our intelligence agencies and, evidently, the blessing of the former administration itself to block the candidate of the opposing party, even to defraud and spy on him, that is to, as others have said, "set him up." And then, if they were unsuccessful, make it impossible for him to govern. In addition, in all probability, the same players conspired to make certain Hillary Clinton was not indicted for a crime for which virtually any other American would have done jail time.”

The Disgraceful Plot To Illegally Exonerate Hillary Clinton

The More Powerful The Perpetrator, The Greater Her Prerogative To Define Reality

On January 4th of this year, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), senior member of the Committee, delivered a letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray referring Trump dossier author Christopher Steele for criminal investigation for lying to federal authorities. To support the referral, they attached documentation showing direct communications between the British spy and “multiple U.S. news outlets”.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), ranking member of the Committee, slammed the referral claiming it contains “numerous flaws and omits facts.”  She also contends the Grassley/Graham letter attempts to “undermine the FBI and cast aspersions on Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation.”

One name recently linked to the dossier is Daniel Jones, a former investigator for Sen. Feinstein when she chaired the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Soon after reports of the Grassley/Graham letter emerged, Joe DiGenova began warning the public about “the weaponization of the FBI for political purposes by all the people at the upper echelon of the Bureau.” 

DiGenova is not a nobody.  In 1992, he was appointed Independent Counsel in the Clinton Passport File Search matter.  As United States Attorney, District of Columbia, he supervised federal criminal and civil matters including public corruption, espionage, fraud and international terrorism. He led the prosecution of Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard.  He was the Principal Assistant U.S. Attorney during the prosecution of attempted Reagan assassin, John Hinckley. He has also served as Chief Counsel and Staff Director of the Senate Rules Committee and Counsel to the Senate Judiciary, Governmental Affairs and Select Intelligence Committees.

About the “weaponization” of the FBI; it’s important to keep in mind the following tick-tock:

Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder left the Department of Justice on September 25, 2014.  The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer appointed former President Bill Clinton’s nominee for U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, Loretta Lynch, to replace Holder as AG.  Lynch was confirmed on April 23, 2015.  A month-and-a-half later, Donald Trump announced his candidacy for president on June 16, 2015.

During Lynch’s confirmation hearings she generally defended the president’s policies but did say she viewed the role of the Justice Department as being an independent constitutional authority whose clients are the American people, not the president or Congress. I needn’t remind you she scandalously met with Bill Clinton on the tarmac at the Phoenix airport on June 30, 2016.

Lynch, at the time, painted an innocent portrait of their curious conversation. “Our conversation was a great deal about grandchildren, it was primarily social about our travels and he mentioned golf he played in Phoenix.”

Back to DiGenova.  He ominously began speaking out about the shenanigans at the FBI after the release of the Grassley/Graham letter. 

"This is the worst period in the history of the bureau─much worse than the late [J. Edgar] Hoover period when they were spying on domestic groups. This was the weaponization of the FBI for political purposes by all the people at the upper echelon of the bureau."

"There is enough evidence on the public record with the information from the Inspector General and from The Hill with the legal release of documents, that it is clear Mr. McCabe and others engaged in highly improper, probably illegal activity in the FISA court stuff along with the dossier from Christopher Steele."

"This is a dark moment for the FBI," DiGenova declared. "It's gonna to take a lot for them to recover from this. Comey was a dirty cop and unfortunately he dirtied up everybody else around him," DiGenova concluded.

In his May 2017 testimony before the House Intelligence Committee, former CIA Director John Brennan emphatically denied the dossier factored into the Intelligence Community’s publicly released conclusion last year that Russia meddled in the 2016 election "to help Trump’s chances of victory.”  He also swore he did not know who commissioned the dossier even though officials at the DOJ and FBI knew it had been paid for by Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes plans to release a separate report detailing the Obama State Department’s role in creating and disseminating the dossier─which has emerged as the foundation of the Obama Administration's Russia “collusion” investigation. Among other things, the report will identify diplomats who worked with partisan operatives close to Hillary to help ex-British spy Christopher Steele compile the dossier.

Nunes will focus on Brennan as well as Obama’s first CIA director, Leon Panetta, along with the former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and National Security Adviser Susan Rice as well as UN Ambassador Samantha Power.

According to Real Clear Investigations, several Capitol Hill sources say “Brennan was a fiercely loyal Obama appointee who talked up the dossier to Democratic leaders, as well as the press during the campaign. They say he also fed allegations about Trump-Russia contacts directly to the FBI, while pressuring the Bureau to conduct an investigation of several Trump campaign figures starting in the summer of 2016.”

Just weeks before Trump was inaugurated, investigators say Brennan made certain the contents of the dossier were attached to Obama’s Presidential Daily Briefing. The contents of the PDB were then leaked to the media.

Brennan later swore the dossier did not “in any way” factor into the CIA's assessment that Russia interfered in the election to help Trump. However, congressional investigators suggest a still-classified version of the January 2017 intelligence report contradicts his claim. 

"I'm pretty troubled by what I read in the documents with respect to the role the State Department played in the fall of 2016, including information that was used in a court proceeding. I am troubled by it," said Rep. Trey Gowdy, a member of the House Intelligence Committee.

Last week, perhaps not coincidentally, Brennan signed a contract with NBC News and MSNBC to be their “senior national security and intelligence analyst.”

The Iran Deal: A Shabby And Pathetic Spectacle

On September 19, 2017 President Trump addressed the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly.  In his remarks he said of the Iran deal:

“We cannot let a murderous regime continue these destabilizing activities while building dangerous missiles, and we cannot abide by an agreement if it provides cover for the eventual construction of a nuclear program.” 

“The Iran deal was one of the worst and most one-sided transactions the United States has ever entered into,” Trump continued. “Frankly, that deal is an embarrassment to the United States and I don’t think you have heard the last of it, believe me.” 

“It is far past time for the nations of the world to confront another reckless regime, one that speaks openly of mass murder, vowing ‘death to America,’ destruction to Israel, and ruin to many nations and leaders in this room,” Trump said, accusing Iran of hiding behind a “false guise of a democracy.”

“It is time for the entire world to join us in demanding that Iran end its pursuit of death and destruction,” Trump said.

A month later, speaking from the Oval Office, the President made the following assertions in his speech on the Iran nuclear agreement known formally as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA):

“The regime harbored high-level terrorists in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, including Osama bin Laden’s son.” 

“The regime remains the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism, and provides assistance to al-Qaeda, the Taliban, Hezbollah, Hamas and other terrorist networks.”

“The previous administration lifted these sanctions, just before what would have been the total collapse of the Iranian regime, through the deeply controversial 2015 nuclear deal with Iran.”

JCPOA “also gave the regime an immediate financial boost and over $100 billion its government could use to fund terrorism. The regime also received a massive cash settlement of $1.7 billion from the United States, a large portion of which was physically loaded onto an airplane and flown into Iran.”

“The deal allows Iran to continue developing certain elements of its nuclear program and, importantly, in just a few years, as key restrictions disappear, Iran can sprint towards a rapid nuclear weapons breakout.”

“The Iranian regime has committed multiple violations of the agreement. For example, on two separate occasions, they have exceeded the limit of 130 metric tons of heavy water. Until recently, the Iranian regime has also failed to meet our expectations in its operation of advanced centrifuges.”

“There are also many people who believe that Iran is dealing with North Korea. I am going to instruct our intelligence agencies to do a thorough analysis and report back their findings beyond what they have already reviewed.”

How eager was The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer to see Iran break through its isolation and become a successful regional power? Profoundly eager. 

In 2014, Ben Rhodes, Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communication and a member of the president’s innermost circle, told a group of activists in the Democrat Party the agreement in 2013 between Tehran and the P5+1 gave the Obama Administration “the best opportunity we’ve had to resolve the Iranian nuclear issue.” 

Rhodes confided, “This is Obamacare just to put it in context…it’s probably the biggest thing President Obama will do in his second term on foreign policy. We’re already kind of thinking through, how do we structure a deal so we don’t necessarily require legislative action right away.”

NOTE:  Rhodes was unaware his comments were being recording.

“Structuring” the Iran deal in order to bypass legislative action involved ripping apart Project Cassandra.  The entire effort was done from the top down.  According to a report which has been widely linked to Politico, the Obama White House directly prevented actions by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to battle the terror group Hezbollah.

Project Cassandra was launched in 2008 after the Drug Enforcement Administration amassed evidence that Hezbollah had transformed itself from a Middle East-focused military and political organization into an international crime syndicate that some investigators believed was collecting $1 billion a year from drug and weapons trafficking, money laundering and other criminal activities.

Over the next eight years, agents working out of a top-secret DEA facility in Chantilly, Virginia, used wiretaps, undercover operations and informants to map Hezbollah's illicit networks, with the help of 30 U.S. and foreign security agencies.

They followed cocaine shipments, some from Latin America to West Africa and on to Europe and the Middle East, and others through Venezuela and Mexico to the United States. But as Project Cassandra reached into the hierarchy of the conspiracy, Obama Administration officials threw an increasingly insurmountable series of roadblocks in its way, according to interviews with dozens of participants who in many cases spoke for the first time about events shrouded in secrecy, and a review of government documents and court records. When Project Cassandra leaders sought approval for some significant investigations, prosecutions, arrests and financial sanctions, officials at the Justice and Treasury departments delayed, hindered or rejected their requests.

CIA Director John Brennan had long advocated better relations with Hezbollah and Secretary of State John “Horseface” Kerry was hell-bent to make every conceivable concession to the terror state of Iran including shipping pallets of cash totaling $400 million to the mullahs in an unmarked cargo plane.  That sum of money was used to secure the release of Americans who were being held hostage by Tehran.

I think the facts here are undeniable.  The United States, under the direction The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer, made extensive concessions to a nation that openly sought to destabilize our interests, attack our allies, and kill our people—for nothing in return but the chance to strut like a banty rooster and give self-flattering speeches.
