I Don’t Need A Citizenship Lesson From The Democrats

Chaos wants to devour this election.  It is already devoid of any sense of decency.

In an emotionally raw speech Pat Smith, the mother of American Foreign Service official Sean Smith killed in Benghazi, maintained Hillary Clinton lied to her and argued that Donald Trump would improve national security at the Republican convention.

A week later, Khizr Khan and his wife took to the stage at the Democratic National Convention to deliver an impassioned rebuke of Donald Trump that was universally celebrated by the media.

Why were the families of the soldiers of the Ft. Hood massacre not asked to speak at the DNC?  Why not ask the parents of the fallen who died defending the Benghazi consulate to speak?  Because the Democrats are unadulterated hypocrites and liars of the first order.  Their nominee is unworthy of belief.

Palestinian flags were prominently displayed by activists at the Democratic National Convention amid an apparent lack of American flags, according to numerous media and social media postings. In addition, activists were seen holding up signs reading, “I support Palestinian human rights.”  There was a sit-in under the Mississippi state flag outside the Wells Fargo Arena demanding it’s removal because it depicts the Confederate standard.  Also outside the convention hall, demonstrators proudly waved the Soviet Union flag.

Capt. Humayun Khan was one of just 14 Muslim-Americans (the number was compiled by the House Homeland Security Committee) among the 6,885 US troops who died in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Khan’s anguish is very real and their story very powerful and it has become a cudgel to be wielded against Trump until Election Day.

Khan admonished, “Donald Trump, you are asking Americans to trust you with their future. Let me ask you:  Have you even read the United States Constitution? I will gladly lend you my copy.  In this document, look for the words "liberty" and "equal protection of law."

By telling Trump to "look for the words 'liberty' and 'equal protection of law'" in the Constitution, Khan was suggesting that the ban on Muslims entering the United States would violate the 14th Amendment. This is the relevant portion of that amendment:
All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
Byron York, noted in The Washington Examiner, “The text makes clear that its protections apply to ‘all persons born or naturalized’ in the US; persons ‘subject to the jurisdiction thereof’; and persons ‘within its jurisdiction.’  None refers to foreign persons in foreign countries. Pakistanis in Pakistan, to take one example, regardless of religion, do not have US constitutional rights. As far as ‘liberty’, the other word mentioned by Khan, is concerned, the Constitution says the government may not deprive someone of liberty without due process of law, which of course means the government may deprive someone of liberty with due process of law.”

I hardly think Mr. Khan has stature to give any American a lesson in citizenship.

Khan’s son died in 2004 in a war that Hillary Clinton voted for when she was the senator from New York.  It was her vote to invade Iraq that sent Capt. Khan to his death. And…her failure to acknowledge a terrorist attack on the Benghazi consulate or to even send help during the more than 9-hour siege caused four Americans to be murdered.

The Creation Of Hillary

The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer is leaving behind a country more divided than the one he found.

“Voxsplainer” Ezra Klein, a “narrow-minded fanatic with a mediocre IQ”, writing at The American Prospect in January 2008 fawned, “Obama's finest speeches do not excite. They do not inform. They don't even really inspire. They elevate. They enmesh you in a grander moment, as if history has stopped flowing passively by and, just for an instant, contracted around you, made you aware of its presence and your role in it. He is not the Word made flesh, but the triumph of word over flesh, over color, over despair. The other great leaders I've heard guide us towards a better politics, but Obama is, at his best, able to call us back to our highest selves, to the place where America exists as a glittering ideal and where we, its honored inhabitants, seem capable of achieving it and thus of sharing in its meaning and transcendence.”

One month before Klein’s American Prospect column was published, campaign buddy Oprah Winfrey lauded Obama to a football stadium full of ardent supporters. “We need a leader who’s going to touch our souls.  Who’s going to make us feel differently about one another.  Who’s going to remind us that we are one another’s keeper.  That we are only as strong as the weakest among us.  South Carolina:  I do believe he’s the one.”

Thus was born the messiah of the Left.

The coronation of Crooked Hillary is now complete.  There was never any doubt this day would come.  The fix was in.

When your own testimony is suspect, what you need are friends who can make the case for you. That’s what Hillary got all this week:   testimonials from both Obamas, Joe Biden, her husband and daughter Chelsea.  They held down the rhetorical fort for her. 

The Democrats were forced to circle the wagons to protect themselves after WikiLeaks dumped DNC emails that were devastating to the Party.  Additionally, the convention organizers had to be shamed into placing American flags on the stage.  They had to be shamed into mentioning ISIS.  They had to be shamed into giving voice to the families of fallen police officers.  The audience disgraced a moment of silence to honor the fallen when they erupted into chants of “Black Lives Matter”.

For Democrats it’s all about the stagecraft, the optics and subliminal perception.  After all, they had to appear to be proud of their nominee and feign patriotism to their television audience.
Byron York noted, “Democrats have attacked the theme of Donald Trump's campaign, "Make America Great Again," from the moment Trump became a serious contender for president. There is no need to make America great again, they say, because it is already great. And what makes this country great, many Democrats argue, is its racial, ethnic, gender, and other diversity.”

In the most recent NBC/Wall Street Journal poll, 73 percent of registered voters said the country is on the wrong track, while just 18 percent said it is headed in the right direction. The 73 percent figure is the second-highest in the president's nearly eight years in office.  Americans have had enough of tone-deaf, out-of-touch career politicians whose sole interest is to look out for Number One instead of the American people.

And yet, the DNC convention-goers erupted in rapturous applause every damned time they were force-fed their pabulum of lies, deceit and Skittle-shitting unicorns.

The cartoon accompanying this post is a parody of Michelangelo’s fresco painting The Creation of Adam which adorns the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.  The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer, determined to defend his own accomplishments and convince Americans to elect Hillary for what would amount to his third term, is reaching out to create her in his likeness. 

Americans believe our nation is on the brink of collapse.  They fear the future.  Two-thirds of voters are convinced our country is on the wrong track.  Our betters on the Left insist we are crazy to think that way and we are fed groupthink from The Hive.

Their argument falls on my deaf ears as I was reminded the other day of an HBO Original Series The Newsroom.  The premise of the series revolves around “Will McAvoy” a news anchor who attended a panel discussion about why America was the greatest country in the world.

McAvoy delivers a beautifully delivered indictment of the state of American culture.  He took the position that America is not the greatest country in the world but it can be.

Eric “A Nation Of Cowards” Holder Wags His Finger At Trump

I find it galling that former US Attorney General Eric Holder possessed the effrontery to wag his finger at Donald Trump on Day 2 of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.  Holder falsely insisted that violent crime has gone down since The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer took office.

Holder’s fevered imagination ignores black-on-black crimes, the astronomical rise in the murder rate in Obama’s hometown of Chicago and the recent epidemic of cop killings.

Acting as a dutiful political operative for the Clinton Mafioso Machine Holder said:
“I’ve known Hillary Clinton for almost 25 years—as a friend, a colleague, and a leader of courage and conviction. And today, I am proud to say “I’m with Her!”—because I’ve seen that she has the skills to serve as commander-in-chief—and the strength to lead our already great nation in this hour of challenge and consequence.” 
“Did you hear what I just said?” 
“Already great nation, Donald did you hear me?”
“Already. Great. Nation.”
It seems just a bit disingenuous for the man who, on February 18, 2009 said, "Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial, we have always been and we—I believe continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards." 

It is important to note that this racialist, the nation’s first black attorney general, led by the nation’s first black president was speaking during Black History Month and that every year the nation officially honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  Yet, Holder declares that America is a nation of cowards.

Holder did not and still does not want an honest dialogue about race in the Age of Obama.  He and the Democrats want us to sit down and shut up and passively be subjected to lectures about our insensitivity.

Five years after his highly insulting remarks, he told ABC News that he “wouldn’t walk away from that speech.”

Holder supported using Hollywood, the media and government officials in order to “really brainwash people” into opposing firearm ownership, according to a 1995 C-SPAN video.

The revelation that Holder wanted to “brainwash” people into being “anti-gun” appears to be supported by what Congress and the American people have learned about Operation Fast and Furious.

In Fast and Furious, the Obama Administration’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE)—in a program overseen by Holder’s Department of JustUs—sent about 2,000 guns south to Mexican drug cartels. The Obama Administration did this via “straw purchasers” who bought guns in the United States with the intention of illegally trafficking them somewhere else.

Holder, unsurprisingly, is ever-willing to evade responsibility on a number of controversies ever since his time in the Clinton Administration and the Obama Administration.

Because Bill Said So

So far, the shitshow that is the 2016 Democratic National Convention has been unadulterated bedlam.  From tarring and feathering their disgraced chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz and running her out of town on a rail to shouting down Nancy Pelosi at a California delegates breakfast to no pledge of allegiance, the absence of the American flag on stage and no mention of the global threat by the Islamic State, these court jesters have struggled to cajole their base and the viewing audience into believing the Party is unified.
Bernie’s supporters shouted, “Hey, hey DNC, we won’t vote for Hillary.”  They picked up where the delegates at the Republican National Convention left off by chanting, “Lock her up!”  They incessantly shouted, “Bernie!  Bernie!”  His supporters even modified Hillary’s “Stronger Together” signs by blacking out all but a few of the letters to reveal a new message, “Stop Her.”  The hostility between the Clinton idol worshippers and the Berniecrats was palpable.
It is no secret Democrats are mortified Crooked Hillary’s campaign is failing. Her favorability ratings have dipped to their lowest levels in her 24-year-long public career.  Desperate to counter her unfavorability and honesty ratings, the DNC called on their infamous serial rapist to salvage Hillary’s coronation—to humanize her.
To hear Billy Jeff tell it, The Sack Of Russet Potatoes With Earrings is as saintly as Mother Teresa.  “She’s so profoundly kind and tireless and honest and so full of grace she defies gravity.”  I kept waiting for him to give us his trademark lip biting as he spun his fractured fairy tale.  We’re supposed to believe this horse pucky because Bill said so.
I don’t think so Bubba.

Wherefore Art Thou Art?


Sometimes it’s nice to take a stroll down memory lane.  Sometimes not so much.  Last night at the Democratic National Convention one-half of the iconic 60s counterculture folk duo of Simon & Garfunkel took the stage.

Having grown up during the 60s, Simon & Garfunkel were counted among some of my favorite musical artists.  Paul Simon wrote the songs, but it was Art Garfunkel whose golden tenor voice helped sell millions of records.

The now-vanquished Bernie Sanders used the duo’s “America”, a song about a young couple hitchhiking across the country, in a 60-second ad.  To be honest, I thought it was a pretty decent ad.

The moment Simon stepped on stage the Twitterverse erupted with unflattering comments about his performance.  His rendition of “Bridge Over Troubled Water” made everyone’s ears bleed.

The 74-year-old Simon looked like shit.  And his voice…gone with the wind.  The man is washed up.  A pathetic Berniecrat has-been.
If you didn’t see the performance you are indeed lucky.  The man sounded world-weary and showbiz-weary in equal measure.

DNC Despair And Revulsion Week Will Be Brought To You By A Cast Of Misfits

The Democratic National Convention kicks off in Philadelphia on Monday.  Debbie Wasserman Schultz kept the schedule of speakers hush-hush on the DNC website until just before daybreak today.  The LA Times published the press release and Despair and Revulsion Week will open with The Wookkie, socialist fossil Bernie Sanders and immigration activist Astrid Silva.

One can only assume we will be reminded that on January 20, 2017 America’s first black family will be moving out of the White House.  I guess the First Lady will take back her statement about being proud of her country for the first time.

Tuesday night is guaranteed to be a real corker with gin-blossomed Billy Jeff and the darlings of the Left, Mothers of the Movement, otherwise known as “gun violence” moms.

It is unclear at this point whether there will be Styrofoam Greek columns on stage for The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer’s speech. Gaffe-tastic Uncle Joe Biden will also drone on and on.

Thursday will offer Chelsea Clinton, daughter of the unindicted felon, before The Sack Of Russet Potatoes accepts her party’s nomination.
