The Tin Star And The Trench Coat

When I left Proof and Grunt in charge of this blog so I could join friends in celebrating Thanksgiving I expected some mischief.  The keys to the liquor cabinet, as usual, were handed over to Proof.  Where there’s imbibing in spirits there’s usually some degree of misbehavior.

I never imagined that Proof would deface one of the curvaceous lovelies that are posted here each Monday by drawing a bunny face on her derriere nor did I envision that Grunt would parody the regular feature “Flowing Curves of Beauty” with cheesy jokes about a bogus “War of the Sexes.”

But the thing that really chapped my ass was when Grunt decided to smear my good name by posting a totally ludicrous fairy tale involving me and an incident of road rage.  The admission by Grunt that he and Proof were too drunk to vouch for me to the cops is all the evidence one needs to discern that these guys are full of it.  Who do they think they are anyway?  Barney Fife and Columbo?

I was nowhere near New Smyrna Beach, FL.  I was in the Great State of South Carolina and the vehicle involved was not an SUV.  It was an effing Prius with Tiger Paw decals and Clemson car flags flapping in the wind.  Apparently the guy has delusions of grandeur that Clemson has a chance in hell of becoming college football’s National Champions.  The driver of the Prius exchanged middle finger salutes with me traveling at a high rate of speed.  So engrossed was he that he ran off the road hitting a peach stand.  He was cited for reckless driving and damage to personal property.

Sophie the Wonderdog and I continued our travels laughing all the way as the owner of the peach stand was last seen pummeling the driver with her purse.  Dumb Clemson fan.  But I digress…

When I returned from my trip, I entered Casa de Curmudgeon to find the usual beer cans and broken beer mugs littering the floor and squirrel poop everywhere.  This time however, there were bullet holes in the wall where these two sophomores were using my Hümmel figurines for target practice.  Just look at what they did.  There are 15 bullet holes in the wall and four of the figurines had their little heads shot off.  I also left clear instructions not to make grilled cheese sammiches in the waffle maker.  Did they listen?  No. No they didn’t.

PCP Blogger Curmudgeon Apparently Involved in Brief Road Rage Incident and Shooting in Florida Beach Town; No Injuries

New Smyrna Beach, FL [SATIRE] - Local law enforcement authorities attempted to contact representatives of the Political Clown Parade Blog Monday afternoon in order to vouch for a woman they had in custody claiming to be the founder and owner of that political commentary web site.  No contact was made until Wednesday because the woman, identified by the alias "Curmudgeon," had left 2 bloggers in charge of operations with access to the liquor storage cabinets, and it took several days for them to be able to answer questions coherently.

Curmudgeon was being held pending investigation of a road rage incident that happened near the center of the New Smyrna Beach community Monday morning. Police determined that she was heading to the beach with her dog "Sophie" when she was passed by a Ford SUV driven by a Florida man who took offense from her multiple Alabama Crimson Tide stickers and made an obscene gesture. This resulted in gunfire from Curmudgeon's vehicle that shattered all the glass in the Ford, destroying several Proud Florida Democrat and Florida Gators stickers, but otherwise caused no injuries.
After vouching for Curmudgeon and collecting a $96 littering fine, police released her Wednesday. Her actions were deemed justified under the Florida "Show Your SEC Pride" law, and both teams, Alabama and the Gators, are currently at the top of their respective divisions, which is required for that law to take effect.

"Give us Your Tired, Poor Teeming Masses, No Huddle, Fourth and Long"

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
"Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore, Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
-Emma Lazarus, The New Colossus

"We can't turn them away! That's not who we are!" Maybe we are, but even if so, I suspect that's not how we always were. But, before we move to make "The New Colossus" our 28th Amendment, let's parse it a bit and apply it to our present situation. "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free..." I think that's an important qualifier right there: "yearning to breathe free". People came to America, come to America, because it is a land of freedom and opportunity. People who love freedom and desire it for themselves and others should always be welcome here.

The irony of so many people quoting the Emma Lazarus poem, ensconced on a bronze plaque on Ellis Island, is that while most of our European immigrants came through Ellis Island, it was also a point to turn some away. If you were healthy and could support yourself, Step this way! Right over here! If you were too sick to work, you were invited to go back wherever you came from, regardless of race, creed or color. I guess that was 'who we were'?

I was reading in my dead tree paper the other day, an account of a man who was seven years old in 1939, on a ship of about 800 Jewish refugees, being turned away from Florida ports. Was FDR afraid of seven year olds, Mr. Obama? They were fleeing the advent of the Third Reich, and unbeknownst to them at the time, the gas chambers of concentration camps. FDR must not have thought "That's not who we are" at the time when he turned them away.

Do we want to emulate Mr. Roosevelt? I don't think so. It does give a little historic perspective: just because you are needy, even fleeing a war zone, does not entitle you automatic entrance into the US.  (This also includes our southern border) I don't think FDR feared the potential presence of a jihadist among the Jewish refugees. Nor do we want to emulate Bill Clinton, whose jack booted thugs grabbed little Elian Gonzalez at gunpoint to forcibly remove him back to Cuba.

Seems to me, there must be a path between the two extremes of let everybody in and let no one in. I do believe though, that as we did once on Ellis Island, we should try to vet those immigrants who are yearning to breathe free and would be a good fit in our country. Despite President Stompy Foot's assertion that "Republicans fear 3 year olds", there is a real concern that an influx of single males, of military age, could contain ISIS sleepers, or yet more malcontents like the Tsarnaev brothers of Boston Marathon bombing fame and their dear sweet mother!

Our immigration policy ought not to be a suicide pact. Obama beclowns himself when he tries to minimize the genuine concerns over letting potential terrorists into the heartland, by his use of ridicule and scorn. Care should be taken to screen those coming into the country, not just for terrorist ties, but for their ability to assimilate and to keep the American dream alive for yet another generation.

Good people can differ on exactly how they might accomplish that, though I suspect the answer lies somewhere between the two extremes.

Flowing Curds of Beauty

In the War of the Sexes, whey too much amoo is made of how men adore women for their feta-attraction beauty and their gouda conversation.  But a gal gets bleu without a guy to jack around with, too.  When it comes to being entertained by making the men around her feel like idiots, cheese simply gotta have it.

Russian PM Medvedev: ISIS Is Strong, and It's Your Fault, Barack

If actions speak louder than words, maybe the American public should get a hearing test, because Barack Obama's actions have begun to draw some serious accusations from around the world, and the public has been slow to acknowledge the gravity of it. The President has recently been blamed from several sides for no less than the very existence of ISIS, for its robustness, for actively protecting them and for importing them to the US.  This is unprecedented territory.

But it's not a conspiracy theory, and it's not much of a secret.  Just today, Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev openly accused Obama's administration of being directly - and uniquely - responsible for the rise of ISIS:  "The Islamic State has grown strong due to the irresponsible policy of the United States." This is hardly a new thought as evidenced herehere and here:
Also today, Politico reported on Obama in Malaysia blaming Republicans, and it expended a great deal of effort to reach out to the President and tell him he needs to change his strategy against ISIL/ISIS.
The Earl of Taint had an interesting one-paragraph summary of the President's Malaysia statement, entitled Obama Says Ignore ISIL and It Will Go Away:
[He] Vows to employ “every aspect of American power” to destroy the non-islamic “killers with good social media” that you needn’t worry about because they’re a fantastic nothingburger of importance standing on the wrong side of history and we have better ideas. Also being afraid that they might murder our children only encourages them to murder our children so let’s take a breath and remain true to the values we all hold dear, kiss the rattlesnakes on the lips and ignore the occasional setbacks.
Meanwhile, the entire country of Belgium is on lockdown, and its citizens are being told to "stay at home" because their safety cannot be guaranteed in the face of "concrete" threats. Obama's own State Department has warned Americans to stay away from the Vatican entirely because of the imminent threat of bombings. This is ignorable??? This is being blown out of proportion, Barack?
Here at home this weekend, national security expert Fred Fleitz called the administration's assurances about its Syrian immigration activities "outright false" and "lies." The Administration claims it is moving forward on its ambitious immigration plan for Syrian refugees out of compassion, but it is simultaneously engaged in action to deport specifically Christian refugees on several other fronts. Your words speak, but actions speak louder, Mr. President. What are you really trying to accomplish here? It doesn't seem to have much to do with America's security. Where I come from, there's a particular word for an official who ignores the safety of those he is sworn to protect and seeks only to benefit their enemies.

Who’s In Charge Here?

AAA Travel projects this holiday nearly 47 million Americans are expected to travel away from home over the long Thanksgiving weekend.  I will be among them.

In a time when aging veterans are told they cannot fly the flag under which they served or school children are told by their school board that there is no time in the day to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, upholding traditions like Thanksgiving may be at odds with our devotion to progressivism or secular self-interest.

If there is one day each year when food and family take center stage, it is Thanksgiving. It is a holiday about “going home” with all the emotional content those two words imply.

The need to connect with loved ones and to express our gratitude is at the heart of Thanksgiving and a yearning for a simpler time.  Somewhere in the hustle and bustle is the abiding national memory of a moment in Plymouth, nearly 400 years ago, when two very different cultures shared an autumn feast.

While Sophie the Wonderdog and I are away enjoying all the trappings of a turkey day feast and a barrage of ball games on TV, this blog has been placed in the “capable” hands of Proof our resident humorist and newly added author, Grunt of Monte Cristo.

You can expect mischief and perhaps a little mayhem.  The keys to the liquor cabinet have been presented to Proof.  He continues to demand the keys to the good liquor, but that ain’t happenin’.

Proof always lets Jeremiah Puffchecks (the damn squirrel that torments me) in the house and the joint gets trashed to a fare-thee-well.  I can only imagine the wrecking ball that will go through Casa de Curmudgeon with the addition of Grunt and Mayflower the Turkey.  Oh well…as long as nobody gets hurt…

I'll be back in a week so until then...

May the good things of life
be yours in abundance
not only at Thanksgiving
but throughout the coming year.

LSU Tigers Vs Ole Miss Rebels: SPECIAL EDITION

What is a dyed-in-the-wool Alabama fan doing touting a football game between the LSU Tigers and the Ole Miss Rebels?

My dear friend Diogenes has a broken heart following the death of her friend and former business partner Allen Toussaint.

Toussaint, the gentlemanly Rock and Roll Hall of Fame songwriter, producer, pianist and singer whose career spanned decades, passed away of a heart attack shortly after performing in Madrid, Spain.  He died doing what he lovedspreading the gift of New Orleans music around the globe.

As Diogenes prepared to say her final goodbye to her friend, she requested I post what she had intended put up at her place about her beloved Tigers.  It is my great honor to do that for her.
LSU @ Ole 'MissyWhat started out as a promising season for the young Tigers is all but lost after last week’s loss to Oliver Hardy and an Arkansas team with a fraction of the talent.  The attempt to confuse the Hogs with an unfamiliar split offense instead of dancing with the one that brung ya, did nothing but confuse them. I don't blame the players; their youth and expectations seem to have caught up to them.
What was expected by everyone to be a successful 10-2 season for the Tigers became blown up in the sports media into a No. 2 ranking they were never worthy of.  Hopefully the Tigers can take a deep breath and get back to playing at the level they're capable of or they'll be playing the Fighting Nuns of St. Mary's in the “99 Cent Bowl” next month.
Diogenes’ Prediction:  Tigers by 6
Charleston Southern @ AlabamaAfter convincingly silencing those @#$& cow bells of Starkville last week, my advice to Nick Saban is just play the second string and save their energy for Auburn…Oh wait…the entire team is first string!
Diogenes’ Prediction:  Bama by 45
TCU @ OklahomaThis week TCU goes to Norman, Oklahoma to face the Sooners who laid waste to Baylor in their own house last week. This week the Froggys meet the same fate and become roadkill as the Sooners continue their march toward a chance at a playoff berth.
Diogenes’ Prediction:  Here Comes Big Red - Sooners by 13
LAST WEEK:  Once again I put the “Expert Sports Monkeys” in the weeds by correctly calling the upset of the overrated undefeated Baylor Bears at the hands of the Oklahoma Sooners last week and correctly called the Alabama/ Miss State game, but missed on the LSU/Arky game leaving me at 2-1 for the week.
Diogenes’ Picks YTD - 19-5
Diogenes, we know the Good Lord will place His Hand upon your shoulder and give you comfort in the middle hour of your grief.  Stay strong, take care and know that we love you dearly.

GEAUX TIGERS!

If you’d like to say a few words to Diogenes, you can do so by visiting her tribute to the great Mr. Toussaint here.  I know she’d love to hear from you.

The Ticking Time Bomb Coming To Your Hometown

Provocative title?  You bet it is and with good reason.

The United Nations and radical Islamists are choosing your new Muslim neighbors.

According to a published report dated November 17, 2015, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Antonio Guterres, is working “hand in hand” with an international Islamist group of 57 Muslim nations—The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)whose founding charter seeks to propagate “legitimate jihad” and the “norms of Islamic Shariah” and is tied to the radical Muslim Brotherhood.

The report goes on to say, “While the UN calls its project "refugee resettlement," the Islamists call it "hijra," or immigration jihad.
"Muhammad told his followers to migrate and spread Islam in order to dominate all the lands of the world," said Ann Corcoran, author of "Refugee Resettlement and the Hijra to America."
"As of mid-2015, UNHCR has referred more than 15,000 Syrian refugees to the United States," the 71-page report adds. "And these individuals are being screened to determine whether they are eligible."
Of course, that security screening is a joke, as the FBI director and his top counterterrorism aide, as well as the Homeland Security and National Intelligence chiefs, have all testified.
State notes in its report that security checks include "biographic name checks for all refugee applicants and biometric (fingerprint) checks for refugee applicants." Only Syria is a failed state, and there are no fingerprint databases to check applicants against.
The Islamic State has publicly vowed to use the refugee program to invade [emphasis mine] Europe and America, and allegedly has already infiltrated some 4,000 "warriors" among the flood of Syrian refugees.

Am I reacting to the atrocities of the recent Paris attacks?  No.

I don’t want to get caught up in a web of semantics and technical differences, but the FBI’s director of Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center told ABC News that there were dozens of counterterrorism investigations into resettled refugees.

A glaring example of this administration’s inability to adequately “screen” those coming into this country is the case of the Boston Marathon bombers, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who were Chechen.  The Russian government warned US authorities that they were violent radical Islamists more than a year and a half before the April 2013 bombing.

“In March 2011, the FSB, the Russian intelligence agency that arose from the remnants of the KGB, sent a cable to the FBI with its concerns about Tamerlan Tsarnaev and the Tsarnaev family. By then, the Tsarnaevs, a Muslim family of mixed Chechen ancestry, had been living in Massachusetts for almost a decade.”

These two men murdered three people, one of whom was an 8-year-old boy and injured more than 260 others leaving some as amputees.

As Dzhokhar lay wounded in a boat from multiple police bullets he wrote, "The US government is killing our innocent civilians, but most of you already know that. As a Muslim I can't stand to see such evil go unpunished. We Muslims are one body, you hurt one you hurt us all...Know you are fighting men who look into the barrel of your gun and see heaven. Now how can you compete with that? We are promised victory and we will surely get it."

As the headlines scream at us, The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer continues to insult anyone who believes the refugee resettlement program poses a clear and present danger.  It is so simple for he and his disciples to scold to us from their gated communities that “slamming the door in their faces would be a betrayal of our values.”

It is his abject failure in the Middle East that has wrought this crisis.  Thanks Obama.

My Dearest Hillary, Your Fear Of Ridicule Reveals Your Cowardice

Judicial Watch, the watchdog group whose tenacious litigation in nearly 20 lawsuits led to the disclosure of former Secretary of State Clinton’s separate email system and her email scandal, has learned that five comedians who were performing at the popular Laugh Factory in Hollywood drew the ire of the Clinton campaign.

Their performances were posted on the Laugh Factory website and attempts were immediately made to censor it.

What the hell did they do?  They mocked The Ice Cube In Heels’ wardrobe, age, sexual orientation, the Monica Lewinsky scandal and the relationship (ahem) she has with her impeached husband.

Tiffany Haddish, the only female comedian in the video joked, "I would love if you become president, then you divorce Bill and you marry a bitch. Oh, shit!  That would fuck the world up!" Haddish continued, "I like the way you didn’t trip off Bill and Monica.  I feel like she was hitting that too on the side.”

Laugh Factory owner Jamie Masada told Judicial Watch that a Clinton staffer demanded to know the names and phone numbers of the comedians appearing in the video.  He summarily refused the Gestapo-like tactic and hung up on the staffer.

The famous French philosopher, in a letter to Etienne Noël Damilaville, wrote, “I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one:  Oh Lord, make my enemies ridiculous.  And God granted it.”

Hillary Clinton should be mocked hard and often and by people know how.  Take it away Tiffany.  You go, gurl!

John Kerry’s Shameful Victim Blaming

The man who slandered America and can’t even negotiate a curve spoke with US Embassy workers in Paris following the deadly attacks by filthy Islamic radical bastards.  During the speech, according to the official transcript, John Kerry said there was “something different” about last week’s Paris attacks and the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo incident.

As reported by Newsweek, the Secretary of State said, “There’s something different about what happened at Charlie Hebdo, and I think everybody would feel that. There was a sort of particularized focus and perhaps even a legitimacy in terms of—not a legitimacy, but a rationale that you could attach yourself to somehow and say, OK, they’re really angry because of this and that.  This Friday was absolutely indiscriminate. It wasn't to aggrieve one particular sense of wrong. It was to terrorize people. It was to attack everything that we do stand for. That's not an exaggeration. It was to assault all sense of nationhood and nation-state and rule of law and decency, dignity, and just put fear into the community and say, ‘Here we are.’ And for what? What's the platform? What's the grievance? That we're not who they are? They kill people because of who they are, and they kill people because of what they believe.”

Kerry is facing an unprecedented backlash over his remarks which can only be characterized as the most un-American thing he’s ever said publicly.  John Kerry must resign.

Where Were You When the Revolution Started?

No, not this commie crap going on now.  The right revolution.  The Reagan Revolution that gripped the nation starting around 1979.  It was still a nation then, remember?  A nation capable of being united, if only for a few years until the power mongers of both parties got the death grip on her throat that they still maintain today.
I remember very fondly where I was, so let me use this post as a light introduction of sorts, since Curmudgeon has graciously asked me to start contributing as a regular author on this blog, or at least as a part-time janitor and coffee wench.  For which I'm grateful!

So I ask you to recall if you, like me, were relieved to wake to 'Morning in America' after the long night during which a President was assassinated, the Vietnam War was won and then lost, John Wayne realized that Joe McCarthy had been right but nobody cared, Journalistas forced everybody to worship at their endless Watergate orgy and Jimmuh's fresh hell of stagflation and fake population and energy crises robbed us of hope.

What a breath of fresh humor and common sense and joy Reagan was for the kids coming of age during those years.  It was bracing to be a youth unjaded but fully aware of the cancer of careless Marxism embraced by some of our parents and yet hopeful that we might soon be free of it.  This was America.  Finally.

Washington Post Blasts “Petulant-Sounding” President On Paris Attacks And ISIS

When the liberal press poodles that have been carrying your water for seven years turn against you it’s a good bet you’re in a heap-o-trouble.  Read the article everyone is talking about here.

President Issues Statement About His ISIS Strategy From Golf Course

I have been trying to contain my outrage and sadness over the bloodbath we witnessed in Paris last Friday.  I was beginning to settle down until I watched our president stand on the dais at the Antalya G20 Summit and field questions from the press.  Never in my life have I witnessed a more contemptible display of indifference and downright arrogance.

I went to bed last night very late.  I woke up about three hours later still very angry about that press conference.  I decided to fire up the computer and see what others were sensing and hit the jackpot.

If you don’t follow Jon Gabriel on Twitter you should.  Mr. Gabriel is a political writer who contributes to Ricochet, The Blaze, Freedom Works and the Heartland Institute.  I saw his tweet announcing his latest piece at Ricochet entitled “Obama and the Office of the Petulancy” and clicked on over.
It’s difficult to overstate how poorly Barack Obama performed at Monday’s press conference from the G20 summit in Antalya, Turkey. As France deals with the aftermath of an ISIS attack leaving 132 dead (so far), hundreds wounded, and thousands of lives shattered, the ersatz leader of the free world responded with an embarrassing display of indifference, peevishness, and open contempt. He was less ‘President Obama’ and more ‘Petulant Obama.’"
“As reporters lobbed obvious questions about Obama’s dismissive description of ISIS as a JV team, his broken promise to degrade and destroy the group, and the massive intelligence failure that rocked Europe, he seemed annoyed at all the fuss.”
[SKIP]
“The bureaucratic boredom with which Obama delivered the lines was reminiscent of Michael Dukakis airily dismissing a debate hypothetical in which his wife was raped and murdered.”
“Yes, Paris is a setback but we’ve lowered our flags. Next question.”
Jim Avila:  “In the days and weeks before the Paris attacks, did you receive warning in your daily intelligence briefing that an attack was imminent? If not, does that not call into question the current assessment that there is no immediate, specific, credible threat to the United States today? And secondly, if I could ask you to address your critics who say that your reluctance to enter another Middle East war, and your preference of diplomacy over using the military makes the United States weaker and emboldens our enemies.”
Obama:  “Jim, every day we have threat streams coming through the intelligence transit. And as I said, every several weeks we sit down with all my national security, intelligence, and military teams to discuss various threat streams that may be generated.”
By this point, it was obvious that Professor Obama was very disappointed with his class:
“But what we do not do, what I do not do is to take actions either because it is going to work politically or it is going to somehow, in the abstract, make America look tough, or make me look tough. And maybe part of the reason is because every few months I go to Walter Reed, and I see a 25-year-old kid who’s paralyzed or has lost his limbs, and some of those are people I’ve ordered into battle. And so I can’t afford to play some of the political games that others may.”
“We’ll do what’s required to keep the American people safe. And I think it’s entirely appropriate in a democracy to have a serious debate about these issues. If folks want to pop off and have opinions about what they think they would do, present a specific plan. If they think that somehow their advisers are better than the Chairman of my Joint Chiefs of Staff and the folks who are actually on the ground, I want to meet them. And we can have that debate. But what I’m not interested in doing is posing or pursuing some notion of American leadership or America winning, or whatever other slogans they come up with that has no relationship to what is actually going to work to protect the American people, and to protect people in the region who are getting killed, and to protect our allies and people like France. I’m too busy for that.”
We should be thankful he wasn’t making the statement from a golf course.
It is cathartic for me to create Photoshops™.  That sentence about the golf course was a perfect visual and I jumped on it.

You can read the entire article by Mr. Gabriel here.

We Are With You Watching

We were treated on Monday to yet another spectacle by The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer as he addressed journalists at the G20 Summit at Antalya, Turkey. An explicitly irritated president made it clear he loathed their pressing him on how he could have underestimated ISIS.
The day before 350 people were wounded and at least 132 were slaughtered, The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer told George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s Good Morning America, “I don't think they're gaining strength," he said of ISIS. "What is true, from the start our goal has been first to contain and we have contained them. They have not gained ground in Iraq and in Syria they'll come in, they'll leave. But you don't see this systemic march by ISIL across the terrain."
On attacks in the name of Islam, he astonishingly went on to say in his G20 presser, “To the degree that anyone would equate the terrible actions that took place in Paris with the views of Islam; those kinds of stereotypes are counterproductive. They’re wrong. They will lead, I think, to greater recruitment into terrorist organizations over time if this becomes somehow defined as a Muslim problem as opposed to a terrorist problem…I also think the Muslim community has to think about how we make sure that children are not being infected with this twisted notion that somehow they can kill innocent people and that that is justified by religion. And to some degree, that is something that has to come from within the Muslim community itself.

Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has repeatedly warned that ISIS is coming after America. In an audio address last year, he declared: “Our last message is to the Americans: Soon we will be in direct confrontation, and the sons of Islam have prepared for such a day. So watch, for we are with you, watching.” And following the Paris attacks, the Islamic State released a new video in which it warned, “By God, as we struck France in the center of its abode in Paris, then we swear that we will strike America at its center in Washington.”

As we cast our eyes upon the chilling photographs of corpses littering the streets of Paris, we must remember that for fourteen centuries these hyenas and jackals have had their venomous dogma beaten, molested and inbred into them.  France has some of the strictest gun control laws on the globe and when these animals are offloaded on a cowed and unarmed populace the bloodlust resembles a rabid dog unleashed against a flock of sheep.

France is in a state of war after Friday’s massacre.  Police have raided homes of suspected Islamists across France in the aftermath of the Paris attacks and are questioning people who are part of the “radical jihadist movement” who advocate hate of the French Republic.

Rabid dogs are fit only to be killed and killed to the last howling, snarling, foam-dripping pup. That is why allowing 10,000 refugees from the wartorn Middle East would have catastrophic consequences and is gambling with the lives of innocent Americans.

FBI Director James Comey acknowledged an estimated 900 active investigations are pending against suspected Islamic State-inspired operatives and other homegrown violent extremists across the country.  The intelligence community had repeatedly said there is no way those refugees can be vetted.
Add to that the fact that violent extremists meet in the open on Facebook or Twitter. Then they “go dark” using technology called encryption to encode their messages making prevention of future attacks nearly impossible.  Comey has warned that ISIS’s recruiting has significantly spiked in the past 18 months.  I dare say the spike may have something to do with a president who refuses to do anything about ISIS and whose term in office is coming to an end.
Young people who feel disenfranchised are susceptible to their message.  Comey said, “So a message in some way starts buzzing in their pocket:  ‘Here is meaning, here is a centering for your life, participate in this glorious endeavor.’ Twitter works. It’s a great way to crowdsource terrorism because it reduces barriers to access because now all of a sudden I have a terrorist on my belt 24 hours a day, buzzing to me and I can buzz back. It connects me in a way that was impossible two years ago with Al Qaeda.”
“Come here and kill or if you can’t come, kill where you are.”  That is the two-pronged siren song that goes out through social media.

Leadership Then and Now

From a letter from F.D.R. to the British Government, Dec. 9th, 1941

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
There is no question in my mind that if we summon our resources, both our leadership resources and all of the tools at our disposal, not just military force, which should be used as a last resort, but our diplomacy, our development aid, law enforcement, sharing of intelligence in a much more open and cooperative way—that we can bring people together.
But it cannot be an American fight. And I think that we will support those who take the fight to Hitler. That is why we have troops in France that are helping to train and build back up the French military, why we have special operators in Italy working with the Sicilians, so that we can be supportive.
But this cannot be an American fight, although American leadership is essential.*

Sincerely,
Franklin Delano Roosevelt

P.S. Good luck with the whole "D-Day" thing.
*Hillary Rodham Clinton, after a few substitutions.
