A Very Curious Spectacle: The Trained Parrot And The Democrats’ Holy Grail

The Mueller testimony before both the House and Judiciary Committees was supposed to be the impetus that would open an impeachment inquiry against President Trump.

The report filed by Special Counsel Mueller found Russia did interfere with the election, but “did not find that the Trump campaign, or anyone associated with it, conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in these efforts, despite multiple efforts from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign.”

As far as obstruction, the report laid out facts on both sides but did not reach a conclusion that the President committed a crime, nor did it exonerate him.  The Democrats lacked a clear message about impeachment.

Russia, Russia, Russia went by the wayside.  Trump-hating Democrats were left flopping on the dock like a hooked fish pulled from the water.

This week headlines blared from progressive left outlets from widely leaked closed-door testimony by William Taylor, the acting U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, who assumed that position in July. Taylor reportedly testified he was “alarmed” the Trump Administration allegedly withheld military assistance unless Ukraine committed to investigating 2016 election corruption, including alleged wrongdoing by the Ukrainian energy company Burisma.

Ambassador Taylor is very familiar with the process of “conditioning” U.S. foreign aid. He spoke of it extensively in November 2011 after he had just been handpicked by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for a new position as the State Department’s Special Coordinator for Middle East Transitions, specifically Egypt, Tunisia and Libya.

According to the Employee Post-Travel Disclosure Form and the Sponsor Post-Travel Disclosure Form for Thomas Eager, a member of Adam Schiff’s staff, he traveled to Ukraine in August to meet with Taylor who was deemed to be the key impeachment witness.  The official partner of Burisma is the Atlantic Council.  The Atlantic Council sponsored the trip.

William Taylor also has strong connections to other dark power players, many of whom are embroiled in the spying scandal currently under investigation by Attorney General William Barr and US Attorney John Durham.

Taylor was a senior advisor to the US- Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), where he often presented round table discussions about policy with David Kramer from the McCain Institute. Kramer was responsible for laundering the Steele Dossier into the FBI on behalf of John McCain. Also a key player at the USUBC is the Atlantic Council, a Washington DC-based organization funded in part by Victor Pinchuk, a Ukrainian billionaire who was a donor to the Clinton Foundation. Crowdstrike co-founder and CTO Dmitri Alperovitch is also a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council. Crowdstrike was responsible for the DNC servers, and claims that it was Russia that hacked the servers and provided the information to Wikileaks.

Crowdstrike also held them privately for analysis rather than allow the FBI to forensically analyze them. In the now-infamous call with the President Zelensky, President Trump asked him to look for the missing DNC servers suspecting they were in Ukraine.

Breaking overnight was the revelation that the Department of Justice has moved its review of the Russian investigation into a criminal probe according to the New York Times giving prosecutor John Durham subpoena power over testimony and documents in the Russia probe.  Former DNI Director James Clapper and former CIA Director John Brennan should lawyer-up now.

A scant twenty minutes elapsed after the NYT published the news prompting Jerry Nadler and Adam Schiff to issue a joint statement accusing the President of politicizing the DOJ saying, “These reports, if true, raise profound new concerns that the Department of Justice under AG Barr has lost its independence and become a vehicle for President Trump’ political revenge.”

That’s rich coming from these two charlatans as they continue to foist an unauthorized impeachment inquiry that is itself a political narrative for the next election intended to destroy this president.

LMAO At The Vultures

The reckoning is unfolding before our eyes.

Democrats poked the bear on Wednesday when Speaker of the House “Crazy Nancy” accused President Trump of a cover-up shortly before she and “Crying” Chuck Schumer were scheduled to meet with the President about the country’s infrastructure.

After lobbing that cover-up grenade, the President snubbed them, and Pelosi wondered why he refused to meet with them.  Well, duh.

For two-and-a-half years Democrats have doggedly relitigated the 2016 Presidential Election.  Hillary Clinton was supposed to win the presidency and in so doing would cover up the Obama Administration’s extraordinary abuses of power.  We were NEVER supposed to find out about the skulduggery.

Pelosi released a statement saying, “Sadly, the President continues to defy Congress’s authority, and engage in an unprecedented cover-up campaign of the facts.  Congress has a clear, urgent duty to uncover the truth for the American people on the issues that matter in their lives: from corruption to the Administration’s sabotage of families’ health care to its cruel family separation policy to its welcoming of foreign interference in our elections.

“This is about patriotism, not politics.  The President must honor the Constitution and the rule of law and provide the information we need to find the truth for the American people.  We will continue to follow the facts wherever they take us.”

Alrighty then.

The White House issued a memorandum to the heads of several agencies late Thursday evening instructing them to cooperate with Attorney General William Barr's inquiry, including the CIA, Defense Department, State Department, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Treasury Department, Homeland Security and the Energy Department.

“Today’s action will help ensure that all Americans learn the truth about the events that occurred, and the actions that were taken, during the last Presidential Election and will restore confidence in our public institutions."

The inquiry could provide clarity to questions Republican investigators have been eager to answer for more than a year, including whether the FBI's counterintelligence investigation began earlier than July 2016; the scope of special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation; the full extent of the FBI's use of British spy Christopher Steele's unverified dossier containing salacious claims about Trump's ties to Russia by various agencies; what role, if any, foreign intelligence agencies played; who pushed for the dossier to be included in the intelligence community assessment on Russian election interference; the full extent of the use of spies or confidential informants against the Trump campaign; and matters related to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.
Democrats have painted themselves into a corner. The President has called their bluff and the game is about to end,

Interview With A Whore

Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey sat down with CNN’s Anderson Cooper at a town hall Thursday night marking exactly two years to the day after he was fired by President Trump.

The former FBI head made it clear there is no love lost between him and the President whom he described as a 'chronic liar' who on more than one occasion displayed a corrupt intent to interfere with the Russia investigation.

It's clear that Comey is speaking out to cover his skanky ass and set up a narrative before reports from Inspector General Michael Horowitz come and before Attorney General William Barr reveals the results of his investigation into the origin of the Russia collusion sham.

The walls are closing in.

Fractured Fairy Tales: When Humpty Dumpty Met Chicken Little

Democrats, instigating a contempt vote against Attorney General William Barr over a lightly redacted report is the best way to pretend we are living through a constitutional crisis.

Democrats who hold the majority on the House Judiciary Committee aren’t content with simply holding Barr in contempt, they want to arrest him and slap him in the jail located in the basement of the Capitol. “His day in the sun is coming,” Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) said.

They have moved from conspiracies about Russia to conspiracies about the report debunking the conspiracy; and they are unnerved.  Attorney General Barr is pursuing an inquiry into the Obama Administration’s decision to conduct a foreign counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign.
After a week of histrionics about Attorney General Bill Barr, who had offended Democrats and their media allies by writing a letter that accurately laid out the findings of the Special Counsel’s two-year investigation fat, fat water rat Jerry Nadler began demanding the release of the unredacted report. The White House, as expected, asserted executive privilege.

Though the law clearly places discretion over the redaction with the Attorney General, Nadler claimed assertion had triggered a “constitutional crisis.”

Democrats, in fact, were so exceptionally uninterested in specifics of the redactions that when Barr offered a dozen members of Congress, six Democrats and six Republicans, the option of reviewing the minimally redacted report, not a single Democrat — not Chuck Schumer, not Nancy Pelosi and not Jerry Nadler — showed up to take a look.

It’s all an act meant to create the perception that Barr, in cahoots with Trump, is hiding the findings of Mueller’s unimpeded and open-ended investigation.

If they had taken the time to review the Mueller Report, Democrats would have found they had access to more than 98% of the report, including 99.9 percent of the politically charged Volume II, according to DOJ. Nadler knows very well the sliver of redacted material consisting of grand jury material and classified information related to ongoing investigations shouldn’t be made public.

There is a legitimate need for congressional oversight of the executive branch. For far too long, partisans have abdicated their constitutional duty. And when people like Humpty Dumpty use that power as a political cudgel, they corrode the public’s trust.

Curmudgeonly Cartoons: Contemptable

The U.S. Department of Justice said yesterday it would not release an unredacted Mueller Report to Congress if Democrats moved forward with their plan to hold Attorney General Bill Barr in contempt.

The Department’s latest move comes despite the fact that at least two lawmakers — Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) — have already viewed a less-redacted version of Mueller's report than the one Barr made public last month.

The Department is preparing to ask the White House to invoke executive privilege over Special Counsel Robert Mueller's entire report and underlying evidence.

If President Trump did invoke executive privilege over the documents, it could tie up the report in a court battle for months.

As the Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee continue to bang their spoons on their high chairs, this pointless shitshow is guaranteed to extend through 2020.
