Elected To Office To Deceive Infidels In The Furtherance Of Islam

On Wednesday of this week, the U.S. House of Representatives unanimously passed a broad condemnation of anti-Semitism days after Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) received widespread criticism over her comments on Israel.

Republicans used the so-called "motion to recommit" vote to call for the addition of language to a resolution that states it is in the "national interests of the United States to combat anti-Semitism at home and abroad."

Omar drew widespread condemnation for a tweet last Sunday implying Congressional support for Israel has been bought by money from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).

Omar rendered a half-hearted apology for her remarks Monday, tweeting "Anti-Semitism is real, and I am grateful for Jewish allies and colleagues who are educating me on the painful history of anti-Semitic tropes."

Spare me, honey.

This week’s contentious tweet was not her first. In 2012 she tweeted “Israel has hypnotized the world; may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.”

Ilhan Omar defeated Jennifer Zielinski (R) in the 2018 general election to replace anti-Semite Keith Ellison.  Ellison, you’ll remember, was exposed for continuing a relationship with Louis Farrakhan, head of the anti-Semitic political and religious movement Nation of Islam.  His efforts to distance himself from the man who compared Jews to termites earned him four Pinocchios in a fact check performed by the Washington Post.  Ellison met privately with “Calypso Louie” as late as 2016.

Now Ilhan Omar enjoys access to the corridors of American power.

Omar fled her native Mogadishu, Somalia when she was 8 years old and spent four years in a refugee camp in Kenya. She came to the U.S. as a 12-year-old and eventually settled in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis, which has long been a first stop for new arrivals in the U.S.

Starting in the 1990s, the State Department directed thousands of refugees from Somalia’s civil war to Minnesota, which is now home to the largest population of Somalis outside Somalia itself.

It soon emerged that millions of taxpayer dollars, and possibly much more, had been stolen through a massive scam of Minnesota’s Social Services sector, specifically through fraudulent daycare claims. To make matters worse, the money appears to have wound up in areas of Somalia controlled by al-Shabab, the Islamic jihadist group responsible for numerous terrorist outrages.

According to a published report by Twin Cities Pioneer Press, Minnesota has the highest number of refugees per capita nationwide, according to the U.S. Census and refugee support agencies. With 2 percent of the nation’s population, Minnesota has 13 percent of its refugees.

Data reveals refugees cost an estimated $107,000 each in food stamps, medical expenses, job training and English lessons.  Communities have no control over the influx of refugees, yet they must share the cost of supporting them. And residents often don’t speak out or even ask questions of the process for fear of being called racists, according to Kim Crockett, vice president of the Center of the American Experiment.

According to the DGlobe (of Worthington) in 2015, Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton (D) sought to stifle public discussion regarding refugee resettlement.  He advised native Minnesotans with qualms to move out. “If you are that intolerant, if you are that much of a racist or a bigot, then find another state,” he said. “Find a state where the minority population is 1% or whatever. It’s not that in Minnesota.” Dayton also made an economic argument that did not exactly fit the case of Third World immigrants who are themselves heavy consumers of welfare benefits. “Our economy cannot expand based on white, B+, Minnesota-born citizens. We don’t have enough,” he said.

A September 2015 report of the House Homeland Security Committee task force on combating terrorist and foreign-fighter travel revealed that Minnesota led all states in contributing foreign fighters to ISIS. Reviewing the public cases of 58 Americans who joined or attempted to join ISIS, the task force found that 26 percent of them came from Minnesota. Somali Minnesotans occasionally appear in the headlines as “Minnesota men” who have taken up jihad. In 2015, ten such Minnesota men were charged with seeking to join ISIS in Syria; six pleaded guilty and three were convicted in June 2016 (one is presumed dead in Syria).  

Rep. Omar, like all members of Congress have access to intelligence provided by the Foreign Broadcast Information Service of the CIA by virtue of their elected positions.  They do not receive security clearances per se.

Rep. Omar sits on the Budget, Education and Labor, and Foreign Affairs Committees of the House. She should be removed from all three due to her animus against Jews and Catholics  (see the Covington Catholic boys incident). The idea of having someone with an animus against Jews and Catholics sitting on the Foreign Affairs Committee in judgment of Israel is unbearable.

While a few members of her party publicly denounced Omar’s reprehensible anti-Semitism, many remained silent or side-stepped the issue.  

According to Congressional Research Service, under Article I, Section 5, clause 2, of the Constitution, a member of Congress may be removed from office before the normal expiration of his or her constitutional term by an “expulsion” from the House of Representatives upon a formal vote on a resolution agreed to by two-thirds of the Members present and voting.

As to removal by recall, the United States Constitution does not provide for nor authorize the recall of United States officers such as Senators, Representatives, or the President or Vice President.

Omar’s condescension and hostility are grating. She rarely, if ever, expresses gratitude to the United States for receiving her and her family. Instead, she daily portrays herself as a victim of discrimination by the country that rescued her.

I hope Nick Sandmann is successful in his libel suit for the brutal lies that destroyed his life and reputation.  My amusement that Rep. Omar is listed in that suit is boundless.

Maybe, just maybe, Minnesota’s despicable Congresswoman will be forced to fully renounce her bigotry.

Helen Thomas On The Freight Elevator To Hell

Since the announcement of Helen Thomas’ death, we’ve seen the usual worshipful coverage of her 92 years on this earth.

“Her unparalleled experience covering the presidency earned her the respect and affection of both colleagues and public officials for decades,” wrote Patricia Sullivan for The Washington Post.

Sullivan provided a few anecdotal stories of Thomas that I found amusing:

“We are the only institution in our society that can question a president on a regular basis and make him accountable,” she told author Kay Mills for a 1996 Modern Maturity magazine article. “Otherwise, he could be king.”

In the 1980s, after the official planting of a Lebanon cedar tree on the South Lawn of the White House, fellow reporters urged Ms. Thomas, a Lebanese American, to pick up the ceremonial shovel and toss some dirt into the hole to cover the roots. “And as she shoveled,” ABC News broadcaster Sam Donaldson later said, “I heard the ghosts of presidents past and present say, ‘Shove her in.’”

Although she identified herself as a political liberal, Ms. Thomas did not hesitate to criticize the Democratic administration of President Obama, even after he presented her with cupcakes on Aug. 4, 2009, their shared birthday. She once told CNSNews that not even Nixon attempted to control the news media the way Obama’s administration tried to do. “What the hell do they think we are—puppets?” Ms. Thomas asked. “They’re supposed to stay out of our business. They are our public servants. We pay them.”

On May 27, 2010 after a visit to the White House to celebrate American Jewish Heritage Month, David Nesenoff, a rabbi and independent filmmaker, asked Thomas whether she had any comments on Israel.

“Tell them to get the hell out of Palestine.  Remember, these people are occupied, and it’s their land.”

Nesenoff asked where she thought they should go.

“Go home,” she responded.

Asked to elaborate, Thomas said, “Poland, Germany,” and after more prompting by the rabbi, “and America, and everywhere else.”

The video was posted five days later and almost immediately went viral, prompting calls for her firing. Thomas issued an apology, saying she deeply regretted her comments.  Her adroitly insincere apology caused her to be stripped of her front-row center seat in the White House briefing room.

One might assume that she would be finished with the limelight, but that was not the case.  One year later, in April 2012, she was presented with a medal by Hanan Ashrawi on behalf of PLO President Mahmoud Abbas “for her long career in the field of journalism during which she defended the Palestinian position.”  Washington’s PLO office said the medal was presented to her with the appreciation and blessing of the president and the Palestinian people for all of her action supporting Palestine in the West.”

Tony Snow, White House Press Secretary for George W. Bush made mincemeat of Thomas in July of 2006.  Never, in my opinion, has a press secretary looked so good bouncing off a screed disguised as a question.

Thomas was inquiring about the possibility of sending U.S. troops as part of a UN peacekeeping force in southern Lebanon.  Watch the video for one of Snow’s most memorable quotes:  "Thank you for the Hezbollah point of view."

Anyway, Helen The Hag can screech about the Joos from hell and spend eternity finding out why Israel is the “apple of God’s eye.”

Chick-fil-A® Ruffling The Feathers Of Religious Bigotry

As I write this post it is Sunday.  The Sabbath—a day of rest and a time of worship—a quaint relic of a long-forgotten age.

Sometime around 1980, the rise of big-box stores like Wal-Mart, chain restaurants and entertainment venues expanded commerce to seven days a week.  The secularization of our American society had a lot to do with tossing out the tradition of keeping the Sabbath Day holy, but that’s a story for another time.

On July 16, 2012 when the Baptist Press interviewed President and COO of Chick-fil-A®, a firestorm erupted.  The controversy was set in motion when Dan Cathy said he supported traditional marriage; that subversive belief that marriage is between a man and woman. "We are very much supportive of the family—the biblical definition of the family unit.  We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives."

Atlanta, where Chick-fil-A’s headquarters is located, is ranked eighth behind New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Phoenix, Houston and Seattle for the largest population of gays in America.  Yet, not until Dan Cathy made his personal ideology known, did the “gay community” run around with their hair on fire.  Inman Park and Little Five Points never uttered a peep of criticism toward the restaurant chain which has been in existence since 1967 when it opened its first restaurant in a suburban mall in Atlanta.

So, what we have here are three American cities with a gay population who suddenly feel outrage because Rahm Emanuel, Tom Menino and Ed Lee have declared an all out “chicken war.”

Mark Steyn opines, “If you're a feminist or a gay or any of the other house pets in the Democratic menagerie, you might want to look at Rahm Emanuel's pirouette, and Menino's coziness with Islamic homophobia.”

Rahm “Deadfish” Emanuel should worry more about his city’s murder rate which is higher than the Third World metropolises of Mexico City and Sao Paolo.  His Honor has lost control of the streets and his desperation has caused him to enlist the services of the infamous anti-Semite and Nation of Islam leader, “Calypso Louie” Farrakhan.  Yeah, that’ll help.

When you need the likes of Farrakhan to control the South and West side of Chicago, you truly are the mayor of a shithole.

In Ed Lee’s corner of the world, San Francisco, where you can abort children but you cannot buy a goldfish, Lee has been implicated in a major corruption scandal that could cost city taxpayers upwards of $16 million.  His Honor tweeted, “Very disappointed #ChickFilA doesn’t share San Francisco’s values & strong commitment to equality for everyone.”

Hey Ed, you’ll pardon me for saying that your values ain’t nothin’ to brag about and you should keep your pie hole closed and reopen it only on the witness stand.

So America, ignore these churlish little men in Chicago, Boston and San Francisco.  Why not join the rest of us who genuinely enjoy eating in a restaurant that is clean and serves scrumptious chicken sandwiches and lemonade so good it'll make you want to slap your momma.

Here’s a thought:  Why not sport a We ♥ Chick-fil-A® decal on your car and show the world you support a restaurant that closes on Sunday to give its employees a day of rest, believes in operating debt-free and devotes a percentage of its profits to community charities.
