GOP Fires Back At One Of CNN’s Most Irritating Anchors

By now you’ve heard about or seen the viral video of CNN’s Chris Cuomo launching a profanity-laden tirade against a man at a bar in New York.  The video was taken down by YouTube™ who later reinstated it admitting it was a mistake to have done so.

Later in the day, as the video kept racking up clicks and showed no signs of relenting, some iPhone owners began asking Siri, Apple’s voice feature, “How old is Chris Cuomo?”  Siri responded, “Fredo Cuomo is 49 years old.”

How hilarious is that?  The virtual assistant was eventually edited to correct the answer.  It is not yet clear how the change was made or who was responsible for the edit.

The comeuppance for this mocktastic ignoramus didn’t stop there.  The Trump-Pence reelection campaign swooped in and made available the “Fredo Unhinged” t-shirt.  They’re available online.

“Help us annoy Chris Cuomo and buy your ‘Fredo Unhinged Tee’ now!”, the ad says.  The tees cost $34.  Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale tweeted, “Selling faster than Fredo’s meltdown!  Thank you #FredoCuomo for filling up our coffers.  You have now directly supported the POTUS!”

Tim Murtaugh, Director of Communications for the Trump campaign, said the t-shirts were a response to “media elites who have different rules for themselves than the ones they try to enforce on President Trump and his supporters.  Cuomo melted down.  It felt like it needed a t-shirt to commemorate the occasion.”

I ordered mine last night.

Don’t Call Me Fredo!

CNN is suffering horribly from a credibility crisis. It’s audience shriveled in the second quarter of 2019 with its primetime shows finishing as the 15th most-watched network on basic cable behind networks such as TLC, Investigation Discovery and the Hallmark Channel according to TV Newser.  “Cuomo Prime Time” averaged a dismal 910,000 viewers.

The cratering ratings and the persistent “CNN sucks” memes have taken their toll on anchor Chris Cuomo who was caught on video “flying into an abject rage” at a man for calling him “Fredo” at a bar in Shelter Island, NY on Sunday.

The “Fredo” moniker is a reference to Fredo Corleone, the weak, dopey brother in the iconic Mario Puzo mafia crime film The Godfather.

"Punk-ass bitches on the right call me Fredo. Fredo was from The Godfather. He was a weak brother. And they use it as an Italian aspersion. Are any of you Italian? Are you Italian? It's a fucking insult to your people. It's an insult to your fucking people.  Is that a cool fucking thing?"

The other man in the video then mockingly tells Cuomo that he is "a much more reasonable guy in person than you seem to be on television," to which Cuomo responds, "If you want to play, we'll fucking play."

"You're gonna have a fucking problem. It's a little different on TV. Don't fucking insult me like that. You called me Fredo, like I call you punk bitch."

Taking off his glasses, the other man says, "I don't have a problem, man," but then Cuomo reiterates that he is going to "ruin your shit" and "fucking throw you down these stairs like a fucking punk."

I’m Working On A Shithole Awareness Ribbon

President Trump uses language ordinary Americans use.  The media daily demonstrates its virulent disdain for the President and is now hypocritically freaking out because he’s the only person willing to tell the truth.  The President has denied having used the term “shithole” but confesses he used “tough language” in a meeting at the White House on DACA.  Sen. Dick Durbin is emphatic the term was indeed used.  But, but…Dickie is a known liar.
At Tuesday’s politically charged National Board of Review Awards, Robert De Niro lambasted President Trump with an expletive-laden tirade.  While introducing Meryl “The Shrew” Streep, De Niro went into a defiant sidebar: “Today the world is suffering from real Donald Trump. Come on. You know. What are we talking about? This fucking idiot is the president. It’s the Emperor’s New Clothes—the guy is a fucking fool… Our baby-in-chief—the jerkoff-in-chief, I call him—has put the press under siege, ridiculing it through trying to discredit it through outrageous attacks and lies.”
Oh yeah, it’s a far, far better thing for Americans to allow celebrities to dictate our political beliefs.  After all, some of these people have GED’s from Beverly Hills High School.

Former Mexican President Vicente Fox said, “…your mouth is the foulest shithole in the world.”  That’s a ballsy statement coming from a guy who left his country in the hands of savage drug cartels and has decapitated bodies hanging like gruesome tree ornaments from bridge overpasses.  If his country weren’t a shithole, millions of its citizens wouldn’t defiantly break our immigration laws to flee it.
A month ago, during the special election between Doug Jones and Roy Moore, liberals couldn’t stop talking about how Alabama was a shithole state.  During the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton said at a New York fundraiser with liberal donors and Barbra Streisand, "You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic—you name it.  And unfortunately, there are people like that. And he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people, now have 11 million. He tweets and retweets offensive, hateful, mean-spirited rhetoric. Now some of those folks, they are irredeemable, but thankfully they are not America.”  That cost the old hag the election.  That and the Wisconsin thing.
The Center for Immigration Studies included a quote from Sen. Ted “I Killed Mary Jo Kopechne” Kennedy on the 1965 Immigration Act:
"The bill will not flood our cities with immigrants. It will not upset the ethnic mix of our society. It will not relax the standards of admission. It will not cause American workers to lose their jobs." (U.S. Senate, Subcommittee on Immigration and Naturalization of the Committee on the Judiciary, Washington, D.C., Feb. 10, 1965. pp. 1-3.)
It paved the way for all three things to happen.

Now for comparison:
A little over three years ago, an anonymous Obama Administration official called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a “chickenshit”. The quote appeared in an article from The Atlantic’s Jeffery Goldberg, who described the relationship between America and Israel as “now the worst it’s ever been.”
“The good thing about Netanyahu is that he’s scared to launch wars. The bad thing about him is that he won’t do anything to reach an accommodation with the Palestinians or with the Sunni Arab states. The only thing he’s interested in is protecting himself from political defeat. He’s not Rabin, he’s not Sharon, he’s certainly no Begin. He’s got no guts.”

Netanyahu responded to the report thusly:

Introducing The New U.S. Ambassador To Fantasy Island

Good grief!  The clown parade never seems to end.
Yesterday around mid-morning the Intertoobs went wild over a tweet from April D. Ryan who is the Washington Bureau Chief of American Urban Radio Networks and an alleged CNN Political Analyst:
Note the time of her tweet was 9:14 AM.
At 6:30 AM today Chris Cuomo, co-host of CNN’s “New Day”, attempted the mental gymnastics required to grasp the English language appearing in President Trump’s tweet from last night, “Thank you Omarosa for your service!  I wish you continued success.”
Someone with the Twitter handle @heyaries1981 replied to Cuomo on his timeline noting, “Meh, I wouldn’t read too much into it. He’s said goodbye to other ex-employees via twitter,” which piqued his curiosity:
That second tweet went out just a hair over 24 hours after the United States Secret Service definitively discredited Ryan’s tweets.
The woman around whom this ridiculous firestorm centered was Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison in the Trump Administration.  Seeking to set the record straight and call out April Ryan for ginning up a controversy where none existed, Omarosa Manigault made an appearance on ABC’s Good Morning America.
In what appeared to me to be a “gotcha” moment meant to validate the stupidity of CNN’s new US Ambassador to Fantasy Island and give Cuomo’s co-host a chance to smirk, Ms. Ryan appeared on New Day. Oh yeah, it’s a pip.
The outrageous racism and demonization of a black conservative woman didn’t end there as stand-up “comedian” D. L. Hughley tweeted this (which I have screen-capped should the buffoon decide to delete it):
