Bloody Fingerprints On The Wall

Sean Smith’s mother is still waiting to hear from Hillary Clinton three years after she and the president presided over a transfer of remains ceremony at Andrews Air Force Base on September 14, 2012.

Appearing on CNN’s Newsroom, Pat Smith told anchor Carol Costello that Clinton told her the death of her son was due to a video and that “she would get back to me and tell me what happened to my son.  She has not only not gotten back to me, but all I’ve ever heard is that I am not to know because I am not a member of the immediate family.  I still want to know.  I saw on TV the bloody fingerprints on the walls over there.  I asked specifically, are those my son’s fingerprints crawling down the wall, the bloody fingerprints?  Nobody ever got back to me on that.  Are those his fingerprints?  Were those his fingerprints?  What happened?  Somebody’s got to tell me from the government.”

The American people and this grieving mother have a right to know what Hillary’s role in formulating the U.S. response to the Benghazi attack was.  Rather than the president busily contacting YouTube™ to decide which video to blame for the coldblooded killing of four Americans did either of them consider retaliation for the attack or order our forces to try to rescue them?  

While the long knives are out for Trey Gowdy and the Select Committee on Benghazi, Gowdy addressed his critics saying, “The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth is more than a rote phrase.  It should be the guiding principle of a serious investigation."

"Perhaps our critics could live without the 41 new witnesses, seven eyewitnesses, 50,000 new documents and emails from the secretary of State and Ambassador Stevens. We could not. We will keep working until the last fact is uncovered.”

I think Sean Smith’s mother can rest assured that Hillary and the president will not be shielded by America’s willful political amnesia.

Benghazi: Wanting To Respond But Unable To Do So

Brigadier Gen. Robert Lovell, Ret.  had an anguished look on his face and his voice was filled with emotion as he testified that from the U.S. base in Stuttgart, Germany he watched the message traffic relating to Benghazi, in real time, as the attack was unfolding.

The general stated, it is “my duty” to come forward to give the American people a “full forthcoming” about what happened.  The discussion in the post-Benghazi investigations has focused on issues such as time, distance and assets that could have been used to rescue the Americans under attack.

“The point is we should have tried. The military is trained to go in the direction of gunfire.”

House Armed Services Committee Chairman Buck McKeon issued this statement about the testimony of Retired Brigadier General Robert Lovell before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform today:       

“I appreciate the service of Brigadier General Robert Lovell and his willingness to testify.  He confirmed what my committee has understood for some time, that the military never believed this was a protest gone bad, and that the President fundamentally failed to posture our forces respond to any emergency in the weeks before 9/11.”  

"Beyond those confirmations, BG Lovell did not serve in a capacity that gave him reliable insight into operational options available to commanders during the attack, nor did he offer specific courses of action not taken.  The Armed Services Committee has interviewed more than a dozen witnesses in the operational chain of command that night, yielding thousands of pages of transcripts, e-mails, and other documents.  We have no evidence that Department of State officials delayed the decision to deploy what few resources DoD had available to respond.”   

"In the end, while BG Lovell did not further the investigation or reveal anything new, he was another painful reminder of the agony our military felt that night; wanting to respond but unable to do so."     

Hillary’s Poll Numbers Sinking Faster Than Ted Kennedy’s Oldsmobile

A new Fox News poll based on interviews of 1,012 randomly chosen registered voters nationwide between April 13-15 shows former Secretary of State Shillary Clinton's numbers hitting their lowest point in six years.  Six years!

It must’ve killed the WaPo to report the results.

“The Fox News poll, from Democratic pollster Anderson Robbins Research and GOP pollster Shaw & Company, shows Clinton's favorable rating dropping to 49 percent, compared to 45 percent unfavorable.”

“The last time her numbers were in that ballpark was during the 2008 Democratic presidential primary race. After she ended her campaign, her favorable/unfavorable split was 47/46.”

“Other polls have shown Clinton's numbers—which were stellar during her time as secretary of state—steadily dropping since she left her post last year.”

Americans remember with disdain how she and Bubba sold nights in the White House Lincoln Bedroom and her State Department’s favoritism towards Boeing which has, for years, invested its resources in causes beneficial to Clinton’s public and political image.

The Rose Law Firm, Vincent Foster’s “suicide”, Whitewater, Jim and Susan McDougal, illegal contributions and Travelgate are just some of the scandals in which Cankles has been involved.  Let’s also remember Doug Band and a consulting firm known as Teneo.

But the Clinton worshippers, who choose to have selective memories, are drooling over a possible run in 2016.  Why?  They consist of filthy rich donors to the DCCC and its myriad pet causes, power players and corrupt lobbyists, CEOs, film execs, shady trial lawyers, plutocratic bankers and radical tree huggers all of whom would have unfettered access to the Oval Office to maintain their cronyism and despicable divvying up of political plunder.

Clinton insiders admit that nothing [emphasis mine] about Hillary Clinton’s record as Secretary of State “shines that brightly” and ponders whether that will hurt her if she runs for office.

Oh, I think a little thing like lying right to the faces of the parents of Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods who were abandoned by their government to be murdered by savages might have a little something to do with hurting her chances.  Ambassador Christopher Stevens could not be reached for comment, but what difference, at this point, does it make?

Planet Hillary Puts Universe On Notice

Amy Chozick, writing for The New York Times Magazine opened with this absurd question about Hillary Clinton:

“The gravitational pull of a possible 2016 campaign is bringing all the old Clinton characters into her orbit. Can she make the stars align, or will chaos prevail?”

The image on the cover of the magazine presented ‘ol Cankles Clinton with her face digitally altered into an extraterrestrial orb.  Thankfully, her cankles were not integrated into the photoshoppery.

What ensued was a blogosphere ablaze with alterations to the mag’s cover.  Poor Hillary.  All manner of “take me to your planet” memes emerged.  What these ‘chops missed was the shameful way in which Hillary “Rotten” Clinton allowed four innocent Americans to be murdered by savages in Benghazi.  SooperMexican got it right.  So did the Earl of Taint.

Ms. Chozick sickened me with her words:

“[Clinton] spent four years at the State Department displaying great political and diplomatic and managerial skill, and in that process shed much of the baggage generally associated with the Clintons.”

The money quote from the piece is this:  “How can Clinton, who is 66, make American voters think about something other than her fraught personal and political past?”

That’s simple—form an initiative called Correct The Record to defend her against media attacks.

If she’s so GD great politically, diplomatically and managerially why would there be a prerequisite to defend her?  One word:  BENGHAZI.

Mainstream media poodles have already endorsed her and a gaggle of lefty pundits have anointed her with the oils of inevitability.

The families of the four dead Americans have never gotten so much as an apology for her cowardice.  The New York Times may create a sterilized biography of this Bitch-of-Benghazi with her bloated head floating in outer space putting the universe on notice, but the blood of innocents will not be forgotten by the American people.

So my ‘chop depicts an astronaut marooned to die a slow death in the universe Planet Hillary inhabits just like Ambassador Chris Stevens, Glen Doherty, Sean Smith and Tyrone Woods did in that Benghazi pesthole infested with godless savages.

To Four Murdered Americans Left To Die Alone It Makes A Big Difference Hillary

I read with great interest the invidious drivel offered up by Brent Budowsky yesterday:

“[Sen. Rand] Paul suggesting he would have fired Clinton is like the Little League coach suggesting he would have fired Babe Ruth. I expect Hillary Clinton to run for and win the presidency, and I very much hope Paul runs against her. If he does, Hillary Rodham Clinton will pulverize Rand Paul into outer space.”

He further described Paul’s comment that had he been president he would have relieved her of her post as “a distemper that is far outside the mainstream of American life.”

Paul said, “Had I been President at the time, and I found that you did not read the cables from Benghazi, you did not read the cables from Ambassador Stevens—I would have relieved you of your post.  I think it’s inexcusable.”

Sorry Brent, that is not an example of distemper, it is an example of the outrage many Americans feel about how this regime left four Americans to die a horrible death at the hands of barbarians.

To say that Budowsky is smitten with Hillary is a glaring understatement.  On December 5, 2012 this idiot of The Left wrote:

“…the possibility that Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton could seek the Democratic nomination in 2016, the possibility of an FDR-magnitude Democratic realignment comes clearly into view.”

He continues:

“The FDR-magnitude expansive coalition that Hillary Clinton could inspire by tapping powerful demographic waves that define our politics and reaching across gender, age and racial lines is a mathematically perfect counterpoint to the shrinking-tent Republicanism that demonizes moderation and tolerance.” 

“While it might appear counterintuitive, the prospect of the Obama-Clinton years will enhance and invigorate the political strength of President Obama throughout his second term, enhance and expand the achievements and historical legacy of the Obama presidency, cement the deserved historical reputation of President Bill Clinton as a first-tier president and bring a Hillary Clinton presidency with an FDR-magnitude realignment that will define the politics and policies of America for a generation.”

Apparently, Mr. Budowsky swooned when Secretary Clinton gave a performance worthy of the highly vaunted Juilliard School of Drama when she choked up saying, “I stood next to President Obama as the Marines carried those flag draped caskets off the plane at Andrews. I put my arms around the mothers and fathers, the sisters and brothers, the sons and daughters and the wives left alone to raise their children.”

This woman has had months to carefully prepare for her testimony before Congress on what happened in Benghazi. 

In an astonishing exchange with Sen. Ron Johnson, Clinton said, “With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans.  Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided they’d go kill some Americans? What difference, at this point, does it make?”

Months to prepare for this investigation and she declares what difference does it make?

There is every reason to demand to know what difference it makes. Those four families around whom she put her arms and the wives left alone to raise their children want to know who lied about what and who failed to secure the Benghazi mission.  It makes all the difference in the world to them.  This is about an administration and a State Department unable to come to terms with its own mistakes.

I want to be clear about Mrs. Clinton’s quivering voice and her near tears.  I genuinely believe she is haunted by the ghosts of Ambassador Stevens, Glen Doherty, Sean Smith and Tyrone Woods.

If this woman has any conscience at all, I hope the haunting memories of Benghazi are the lash that will flog all her tomorrows.  Why should the families of the four dead Americans be the only ones to suffer that fate?
