Gorsuch And Kavanaugh “Will Pay The Price”

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (Demented-NY) appallingly declared outside the United States Supreme Court, "You have unleashed the whirlwind and you will pay the price. You won't know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions."

“We will stand with the American people. We will stand with American women,” Schumer said. “We will tell President Trump and Senate Republicans who have stacked the court with right-wing ideologues that you’re going to be gone in November and you will never be able to do what you are trying to do now ever, ever again. You hear that over there on the far right? You’re going to be gone in November.”


Louisiana Republican Sen. John Kennedy told the crowd that legislation he introduced in January would extend that admitting privileges provision nationwide if “compassion or common sense prevails before this court today.”

“The idea that a woman in any state, not just Louisiana, but in any state in this great country, should suffer at the hands of a health care provider who doesn’t even have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital is barbaric.”

Schumer’s unhinged threats drew the ire of Chief Justice John Roberts who issued a rare public statement rebuking the minority leader.

“This morning, Senator Schumer spoke at a rally in front of the Supreme Court while a case was being argued inside. Senator Schumer referred to two Members of the Court by name and said he wanted to tell them that ‘You have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price. You will not know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.’ Justices know that criticism comes with the territory, but threatening statements of this sort from the highest levels of government are not only inappropriate, they are dangerous. All Members of the Court will continue to do their job, without fear or favor, from whatever quarter,” Roberts wrote.

This behavior must not be countenanced. It has to be condemned as unconstitutional conduct and to that end Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) said Wednesday night, “I would call on Schumer to apologize, but we all know he has no shame.  So, tomorrow I will introduce a motion to censure Schumer for his pathetic attempt at intimidation of the Supreme Court.”

Cognizant that Schumer had, in effect screwed the pooch, his spokesman Justin Goodman issued a statement.

“Sen. Schumer’s comments were a reference to the political price Senate Republicans will pay for putting these justices on the court, and a warning that the justices will unleash a major grassroots movement on the issue of reproductive rights against the decision. For Justice Roberts to follow the right wing’s deliberate misinterpretation of what Sen. Schumer said, while remaining silent when President Trump attacked Justices Sotomayor and Ginsberg last week, shows Justice Roberts does not just call balls and strikes.”

Goodman was referring to what President Trump tweeted on February 24, 2020 saying Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor “should recuse themselves” from adjudicating matters related either to him or his Administration.

The difference is abundantly clear.  The President was offering criticism; Chucky was making an egregiously dangerous and intemperate threat of harm.

Dear Sen. Schumer, In An Era Of Video, Everyone Has Receipts

Cryin’ Chuck Schumer is painfully aware his colleagues in the House of Representatives failed so miserably in their impeachment inquiry that they managed to steer public opinion away from removing President Trump.

Democrats are staunchly in favor of impeachment.  Republicans staunchly disapprove of the farce.  Among independents, their support for impeachment, much less removal, erodes by the day.  Worst of all for Democrats, the battleground states and Congressional Districts won by President Trump in 2016 are even less supportive.

His pleadings to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to compel testimony from witnesses the House didn’t pursue through the courts and additional White House documents fell on deaf ears.

The House Intelligence Committee through the malignant liar Adam Schiff insisted “the evidence of the President’s misconduct is overwhelming, and so too, is the evidence of his obstruction of Congress.”

Not so fast.

On the very same day Sen. Schumer was playing the role of the Red Queen in Alice In Wonderland (Sentence First…Verdict Afterwards), Judge Rosemary Collyer of the FISA Court blistered the FBI declaring it misled the Justice Department and the court when it sought permission to wiretap a former Trump campaign aide.

"The frequency with which representations made by FBI personnel turned out to be unsupported or contradicted by information in their possession, and with which they withheld information detrimental to their case, calls into question whether information contained in other FBI applications is reliable," Collyer wrote. 

The judge ordered the FBI to outline by Jan. 10, 2020, any changes it has made or plans to make to improve surveillance allowed under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. The law, enacted in 1978, outlines procedures investigators must follow when they ask judges for permission to conduct electronic surveillance of people suspected of acting as foreign agents. 

Sen. McConnell isn’t going to give in to Schumer's demands. "The Senate is meant to act as judge and jury, to hear a trial, not to re-run the entire fact-finding investigation because angry partisans rushed sloppily through it," he said.

Let’s hop in the Wayback Machine after the House took its historic vote to impeach Bill Clinton in 1998 when Schumer warned, “We’ve lowered the bar on impeachment so much that it will be used as a routine tool to fight political battles.  My fear is that when a Republican wins the White House, Democrats will demand payback.”

Maybe The Whistleblower’s Attorney Should Have Hillary Come Over And Wipe His Twitter Clean “Like With A Cloth Or Something”

Before President-elect Trump was sworn in as the 45th President of the United States forces unknown and sinister were at work to unseat him by any means necessary.
The President criticized U.S. intelligence agencies even before he took office.  Top intelligence officials Clapper, Brennan and Comey met with the President-elect at Trump Tower on January 6, 2017 to brief him on Russia’s interference in the 2016 election, but Comey stayed behind to tell him about the existence of the “dirty dossier.”  Days later, on the afternoon of January 10, 2017, CNN ran a story about the meeting entitled, “Intel Chiefs Presented Trump With Claims Of Russian Efforts To Compromise Him.”  That same evening Buzzfeed [I refuse to link it] posted the dossier online with the title, “These Reports Allege Trump Has Deep Ties To Russia.”

Former FBI General Counsel James Baker admitted in May of this year the Bureau was worried Comey would appear to be “blackmailing” Trump during the January 2017 briefing at Trump Tower on the allegations in the dossier written by British ex-spy Christopher Steele.

The dossier, packed with unverified claims about President Trump's ties to Russia, formed a key part of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) applications used to justify surveillance warrants against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page and others in Trump’s orbit.  [We are still waiting for IG Michael Horowitz’s report to be made public.]

Trump’s criticism, now well-founded, did not escape the notice of Sen. Chuck Schumer when he appeared on MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow show.  He spoke with naked enthusiasm saying, “Let me tell you:  You take on the Intelligence Community—they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.”

We know from a published report by Margot Cleveland at The Federalist that principal counterterrorism advisor for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Daniel Benjamin, scripted a scenario for Politico Magazine writing, “Leakers and whistleblowers won’t hesitate. What [former Deputy CIA Director] Morell and other intelligence veterans are too decorous to mention is that Trump’s treatment of his spies will also come back to bite him in the form of leaking and whistleblowing. The Intelligence Community doesn’t leak as much as the Pentagon or Congress, but when its reputation is at stake, it can do so to devastating effect.”

I’ll give you a moment to let that sink in.

Some of you may have missed President Trump’s campaign rally in Monroe, LA last night thinking if you’ve seen one rally you’ve seen ‘em all.  You would be quite mistaken.  President Trump began reading damning tweets from Mark Zaid, the storm trooper in loafers AKA attorney, for the whistleblower who started this impeachment lunacy on the call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky: 
Tim Murtaugh, President Trump’s campaign Communications Director declared, “The whistleblower’s lawyer gave away the game.  It was always the Democrats’ plan to stage a coup and impeach President Trump and all they ever needed was the right scheme.  They whiffed on Mueller so now they’ve settled on the perfectly fine Ukraine phone call.  This proves this was orchestrated from the beginning.”

Did Schumer Bend The Knee?

Democrats lost the shutdown war. They declared for weeks they would not back any funding bill without a bipartisan agreement to protect so-called Dreamers. As Day Three of a government shutdown dawned, Democrats folded like a cheap suit voting to reopen the government.
The White House labeled the government closure the “Schumer Shutdown” sending the Democrats into a bit of a panic.  The label stuck and the stench of fear clung to them like a skunk had sprayed them as the New York Times and the Associated Press blamed them for shuttering the government.
What did the Democrats get out of the shutdown?  Not a damned thing.  President Trump has managed to show Republicans how to show some spine and in so doing they, I strongly believe, have managed to erase some of the stigma of past shutdowns.

“Today's cave by Senate Democrats—led by weak-kneed, right-of-center Democrats—is why people don’t believe the Democratic Party stands for anything,” said Stephanie Taylor, co-founder of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee. “These weak Democrats hurt the party brand for everyone and make it harder to elect Democrats everywhere in 2018.”
Oh, dear Stephanie. The Night King called for Schumer to bend the knee or he would destroy him.  Senator Schumer’s formal act of submission was a glorious sight to behold.  Crying Chuck will be treated with leniency, but there will be no trust in this lying 10 lb. blivet in a 5 lb. sack.

And The Most Creative Molestation Excuse Award Goes To…

A 4:53 PM Minnesota Public Radio tweeted Senator Al Franken would be announcing his resignation on Thursday, December 7.
Then, at 5:15 PM the senator’s office tweeted:
According to a published report by the New York Daily News, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer met privately with Franken and his wife shortly after a new allegation of sexual assault came to light, according to a person familiar with the meeting. Schumer urged Franken to step down.
The waffling is either due to Franken giving the Lizard People of Minnesota 24 hours to adjust to their loss or he’s waiting on a presentation of the 2017 Most Creative Molestation Excuse Award.

Jimmy Kimmel Was Fed Talking Points By Chuck Schumer

Unless you’ve been living under a rock this week, you’ve noticed the revived fight by the GOP to repeal and replace Obamacare.
The day after President Trump addressed the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly, The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer was speaking at a Gates Foundation’s Goalkeepers event.
He said, “Those of you who live in countries that already have universal health care are trying to figure out what’s the controversy here.  People are trying to undo that progress for the 50th or 60th time. It’s aggravating and all of this being done without any demonstrable economic or actuarial or common-sense rationale.  It frustrates.  It’s certainly frustrating to have to mobilize every couple of months to keep our leaders from inflicting real human suffering on our constituents.”
Now you’re a smart cookie.  That last sentence is crucial: “It’s certainly frustrating to have to mobilize every couple of months to keep our leaders from inflicting real human suffering on constituents.”
That’s where late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel comes in.  His nightly monologues were spent condemning Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), authors of the Graham-Cassidy Bill which seeks to do away with the onerous Obamacare legislation.
The three episodes in which Kimmel tore apart both Cassidy—who had previously insisted that any health care bill pass a so-called “Jimmy Kimmel test”—and the bill’s specifics incited public and political opposition to the legislation.
Hence former president Obama’s snide comment about having to “mobilize” every couple of months plays into Kimmel’s role in all this.
Thanks to Lachlan Markay and others at The Daily Beast we are now learning that behind the scenes, the ABC star was getting an assist. Kimmel and his team were in touch with health care officials, charities and advocacy groups and with the office of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer who, according to a source familiar with their conversations, “provided technical guidance and info about the bill, as well as stats from various think tanks and experts on the effects of Graham-Cassidy.”
His public condemnation was biting and garnered plenty of media attention. No one has called him out on using his sick child as a prop for his Obamacare sycophancy.
“This guy, Bill Cassidy, just lied right to my face,” Kimmel said in his first show, airing a clip of his May interview with the senator. “Stop using my name,” he said to Cassidy.
Kimmel revisited the subject the next night, going after Fox & Friends host Brian Kilmeade for questioning why he was weighing in on health care at all.
“I don’t get anything out of this, Brian, you phony little creep. Oh, I’ll pound you when I see you. That is my blurb—that would be my blurb for your next book: ‘Brian Kilmeade is a phony little creep.’”
The following night, Kimmel went at it again, this time singling out President Donald Trump. “I guarantee he doesn’t know anything about this Graham-Cassidy bill,” he said of the president. “He doesn’t know the difference between Medicare and Medicaid. He barely knows the difference between Melania and Ivanka!”

Don’t Go Away Mad, Just Go Away!

Same shit.  Different day.

The left is seething over the firing by Attorney General Jeff Sessions of 46 US attorneys who served under Teleprompter Jesus.

The Justice Department said some US attorneys, as in prior transitions, already had left the department. Sessions asked the remaining 46 presidentially appointed US Attorneys to tender their resignations.
Why would Sessions keep in place those appointees given the fact Acting Attorney General Sally Yatesunmistakably sympathetic to Obama’s non-enforcement policiesinsubordinately refused to defend a lawfully issued executive order endorsed by Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel on the president’s travel ban?

The sore losers on the left seem to be suffering from self-induced amnesiaafter all Obama’s attorney general, Eric Holder said in 2009, “Elections matter.  It is our intention to have the US attorneys that are selected by President Obama in place as quickly as we can.”

After Bill Clinton’s inauguration, he fired all 93 US attorneys.  Not a peep was uttered.  Not. A. Peep.
It is interesting to learn that one US attorney, Preet Bharara, decided to be defiant of Sessions’ request to resign:
His defiance was laughably short-lived:
One need not search very long for the reason behind his defiance.  On November 30, 2016 The Washington Examiner published a juicy tidbit regarding the relationship between Sen. Chuck Schumer and Bharara.
“The aggressive New York Democrat, who is set to lead Senate Democratic opposition to Trump's agenda next year, disclosed that Trump sought out his advice on Bharara last week." 
"’President-elect Trump called me last week and asked me what I thought about Preet Bharara continuing his role as US attorney,’ Schumer said in a statement. ‘I told him I thought Preet was great, and I would be all for keeping him on the job and fully support it.’"
Bharara served as chief counsel to Senator “Upchuck”.  According to The New York Times Bharara tainted a corruption case against New York Assemblyman Sheldon Silver
"Mr. Silver’s lawyers moved to dismiss his indictment because Mr. Bharara had orchestrated a 'media firestorm' that tainted their client’s right to a fair trial. Such motions are considered long shots, but Judge Valerie Caproni of Federal District Court in Manhattan wrote that Mr. Silver had a legitimate argument that the case should be thrown out because Mr. Bharara, 'while castigating politicians in Albany for playing fast and loose with the ethical rules that govern their conduct, strayed so close to the edge of the rules governing his own conduct.'”
Bharara’s office had also been accused of “judge shopping” by the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in the insider trading case against the hedge fund traders Anthony Chiasson and Todd Newman.

In 2012, a string of prominent insider trading convictions landed him on the cover of Time magazine with the headline ‘This Man Is Busting Wall St.’ The New York Post’s Page Six spotlighted his appearance at this year’s Vanity Fair Oscar party in Los Angeles, featuring him in the same paragraph with Jane Fonda, Angelica Huston and Steve Martin.
