Emmanuel Macron, the
former banker long known as the Establishment’s candidate in France’s presidential
election, may have just torpedoed his chances of defeating his opponent Marine
Le Pen.
Despite being
supported by The World’s Most Dangerous Community and former British Prime
Minister Tony Blair, Macron stepped in shit when he hailed Le Pen’s Front
National Party as the “anti-France” party.
“They’re here. It’s
they. It’s they who are our true enemies,” declared Macron.
“Powerful, organized,
skillful, determined. You pass them in
the streets, in the countryside or on the web, most often well hidden. As hateful as they are cowardly. You know
them. The party of the agents of the
disaster, the fearmongerers. The French far-right. It’s here”.
Wait. Just. A. Minute.
I hear a voice from
the past…
“You know, to just be
grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call
the basket of deplorables. Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic,
Islamaphobic—you name it. And
unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up.” [Hillary,
circa September 2016]
Le Pen is narrowing
the gap ahead of Sunday’s election. She
has attacked her opponent as soft on terror.
(See the timeline of terror attacks in France here.)
She has the will to
take France in hand, restore her borders and give priority back to the people
of France.
