Much is made of the celebrations
that ring in the New Year around the world, but nothing says Happy New Year
like the ball drop in Times Square.
More than a million people brave
the cold, the heavily concentrated security and the crowds to celebrate the end
of the year and welcome what they hope will be a year that is better than the
last one.
Without hope there is little
meaning to life. The very least any of
us can do is figure out what we hope for and then live inside that hope.
I want to wish you and your loved
ones not just a smile but laughter; not just joy but happiness; not just
wealth, but Heaven’s treasure; and not just tranquility, but God’s peace.
Happy New Year 2014!
