Right Jabs For September 2, 2012

Politics is not a playground, it’s a battlefield.  Here are a few links from conservative bloggers who are waging a culture war of words against misanthropy, priggishness, prejudice, luddism, illiberalism and irrationalism.

This convention drew blood.

Choke, sputter, gag.  "part of our reward to ourselves"?  Is she kidding?   Is this satire?

How much solar power does a ghost city need?

The Aug. 27 issue (of Newsweek) urging a Romney victory "may have just knocked one out of the park on newsstand sales," according to the Magazine Information Network, or MagNet, which tracks magazine sales.

You can bet he won't go in front of a group of military men and women again until at least after the election.

The chair is empty, the poster is fading, the ideology has been tried and proven exhausted

The chain of events the last week must have flustered the Obama campaign.

It’s hard to say what is more staggering: the gall of Obama to ask for four more years to destroy our country, or the willful stupidity of those who would give it to him.

But the American people are in no mood for this Marxist drivel, hence the backlash and constant dissembling from Team Obama and their useful allies in the media.  Looks like all that media messaging is falling on deaf ears, though.

Oh, to have a leader for our nation again.

You never know what you might run across on the Internet.

The Obama sand sculpture might be better put to use as a kitty litter box.

He is everywhere and yet nowhere. He constantly wants our attention, but has nothing to tell us. There is a real physical Barack Hussein Obama walking about somewhere, but there needn't be. He would be just as real, if he didn't exist. If he were nothing more than a poster, a logo, a few books, some computer graphics and a slogan. He would be no less real, because he isn't real. He's a brand.

Oh, and for those still wondering why we don’t give a flying fuck what PolitiFucked.org says about “facts”, go ye and read.

It’s finally over—the 3-year, disgraceful witch-hunt.

Obama thinks more big government socialism will do the trick.

“They be snatchin’ people up out here and raping ‘em.”

But unlike Obama’s handlers who I expect will march people on to stage telling stories about how Obama saved them because of this or that government program, these people had been actually touched by Romney personally. This is real human interaction, not the phony interaction of “caring” President through the medium of government bureaucrats.

What galls me as a journalist is to see reality stood on its head. With little to say about the achievements of their own candidate, Democrats will viciously rip apart a man who is basically good.

The Democrats swear guest lecturer Barry Soetoro really is a Constitutional Scholar.
