The Washington Post is
at it again.
The folks who declare “Democracy Dies in Darkness” have a scintillating,
er, tedious piece out about the fashion sense of Botox-riddled Speaker of the
House Nancy Pelosi.
It divulges “[she] may
not like to talk about her clothes, but it’s clear that she puts thought into
what she wears.”
Well, la-de-freakin’-da. So do I.
If it’s cold, I don’t go outside in my skivvies. I don’t enter a steam bath wearing woolen long
johns.
Shannon Watts, founder
of the gun-control advocacy group Moms Demand Action, admires the way Pelosi’s
suits often match her “killer heels” in bright tones. Yet none of that would
matter if Pelosi weren’t a skilled and, at the moment, highly successful
politician. “Speaker Pelosi stands out in every room she’s in mainly because
she’s a brilliant badass,” Watts notes.
WaPo is sidestepping the
doddering old lady’s obvious dementia with that “fashion icon” BS.
She reminds me more of
Corporal Maxwell Klinger who was always bucking for a Section 8 to gain a
psychiatric discharge from the Army in M*A*S*H, the CBS sitcom that aired from
1972 to 1983. He routinely wore women’s
clothing.
So, who wore it
better? Klinger or Palsi?
With a net worth
hovering somewhere
around $120 million, which includes her husband’s wealth, the cranky hag has
no excuse not to look stylish.
She feels your pain and understands your struggles, said no one ever.
Yves Saint Laurent, regarded
as being among the foremost fashion designers of the 20th Century said, “Over
the years I have learned that what is important in a dress is the woman who is
wearing it.”
I’ve never noticed her clothes — too distracted by her brain damage.— Joseph Bevilacqua (@joebev49) May 25, 2019
