The Tethered Goat

"Unlimited tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance. If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them. [...] We should therefore claim, in the name of tolerance, the right not to tolerate the intolerant."Sir Karl Popper
We learned last week of America’s first beheading by an animal who had served time in prison and recently converted to Islam while incarcerated.  Alton Alexander Nolen’s Facebook page is permeated with the filthy heresy of Islam.

Published in May 2007, Melanie Phillips’ book Londonistan powerfully elucidated that Great Britain was facing a civilizational test and was in danger of being strangulated by political correctness.

In her foreword, Phillips asserts that “Britain is sleepwalking into Islamization.  Under the noses of British intelligence, a network of terrorists and their sympathizers had used Britain to plot, finance, recruit and train for atrocities in the United States and around the world. The scale of this activity was so large that exasperated European security agencies dubbed Britain's capital city Londonistan.”

What, you may ask, does Londonistan have to do with a beheading in Moore, Oklahoma?

Nolen’s mother Joyce said, "My son was raised up in a loving home.  My son was raised up believing in God. My son was a good kid. I know what they're saying he done, but I'm going to tell you this: That's not my son."

Her son supported Nation of Islam leader and prophet of rage Louis Farrakhan who declared that “America must be burned.”  Fanatics like Farrakhan remain free to peddle their poison to lost souls who seek a sense of belonging and a cause which gives their otherwise aimless and petty lives some twisted, demented meaning.

We are discouraged by our betters on the Left from using any part of our lexicon, which they sanctimoniously deem inflammatory, to describe a world that is being polluted by the filthy heresy of Islam.  There is nothing good or noble about being a victim and yet, we are like the tethered goat that can go so far and no farther.

According to The Los Angeles Times, Eric Holder’s Justice Department is expected to issue a broad new policy in the coming weeks banning religious and other forms of profiling by federal law enforcement officers and the prevention of surveillance of a mosque without signs of criminal activity.

When Holder announced his resignation last Thursday rumors were reignited that Governor Deval Patrick of Massachusetts could be next in line for the country’s top law enforcement job.  The Boston Globe reported that Patrick has “no plans and no interest in making plans to be the next Attorney General.”

He no doubt knows that confirmation by the Senate would stop at the water’s edge because he embraced the Muslim American Society and Imam Abdullah Faaruuq which federal prosecutors have called “the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood.”  Faaruuq commands his followers to “pick up the gun and the sword.”

The Muslim American Society is connected to Imam William Suhaib Webb the former leader of the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma who has ties to al-Qaeda.  The ISGC is the mosque the beheader allegedly attended.

In 2013 there was a record high 41.3 million immigrants in the U.S., and nearly 300,000 of them came from Muslim countries, and quite possibly could pose a major security threat to America according to the Center for Immigration Studies which based its study on an analysis of Census data from 2010 to 2013.  USA Today reported in 2012 that the number of Islamic places of worship in the United States soared 74% in the past decade.  Islam will overwhelm Christendom without swords, without guns, without conquest.

We must allow the scales to fall from our eyes and demand that local, state and federal authorities do not shrivel and retreat in the face of the “reprimitivization” of the civilized world.

We must refuse to become the tethered goat helplessly awaiting our own slaughter.

Recoiling In Horror

The burning news of the day, besides the racial animus and anarchy gripping Ferguson, is the 5-minute snuff video of the beheading of freelance Global Post journalist James Wright Foley.  The video made a short appearance on YouTube™ before being scrubbed, but the video can still be viewed at Live Leak.  I will echo the warning that accompanies the video:  Missing journalist James Foley reportedly beheaded by ISIL might contain content that is not suitable for all ages.

A spokesman for YouTube™ said the company had "clear policies that prohibit content like gratuitous violence, hate speech and incitement to commit violent acts, and we remove videos violating these policies when flagged by our users".

The Sydney Morning Herald reports that social media users including the US Muslim Public Affairs Council are begging people not to share the graphic images.  They argue that sharing these images would only “help the terrorists deliver their propaganda.” Doing so might, just might, make people extremely angry.

I vehemently disagree with that sentiment and here is why.  This is a teachable moment for Americans who have a media that emasculates the English language using only “permissible” words to sanitize the emergence of a caliphate that closely resembles the Third Reich.  They have slaughtered, buried alive, crucified and beheaded Shiites, Kurds, Christians and anyone else it can find by the untold thousands.

Daniel Greenfield warns, “We can see the larger problem flying Jihadist flags in London and New Jersey. We can see it trooping through Australian and Canadian airports to join ISIS. We can see it in the eyes of the Sunni Arabs murdering their Yazidi neighbors. ISIS is an expression of the murderous hate within Islam. We are not only at war with an acronym, but with the dark hatred in the hearts of men, some of whom are in Iraq and Pakistan. And some of whom live next door. [Emphasis mine]

The release of the video came a day after IS militants threatened to attack US targets in another video where they warned "we will drown all of you in blood".

“A Message to America” is meant to evoke revulsion, to taunt and intimidate.

Arlette Saenz and Jonathan Karl of ABC News report that The White House had been aware of the threat to kill Foley prior to the video’s release but The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer partied on at an engagement party for MSNBC host Alex Wagner.

Today the president, in a bland, meaningless ritualism spoke at a new conference saying, “the entire world is appalled by the brutal murder of Jim Foley by the terrorist group ISIL” He continued, “Jim Foley’s life stands in stark contrast to his killers. Let’s be clear about ISIL. They have rampaged across cities and villages killing innocent, unarmed civilians in cowardly acts of violence. They abduct women and children and subject them to torture and rape and slavery. They have murdered Muslims, both Sunni and Shia, by the thousands. They target Christians and religious minorities, driving them from their homes, murdering them when they can, for no other reason than they practice a different religion.”

“They declared their ambition to commit genocide against an ancient people. So ISIL speaks for no religion. Their victims are overwhelmingly Muslim, and no faith teaches people to massacre innocents. No just god would stand for what they did yesterday and what they do every single day. ISIL has no ideology of any value to human beings. Their ideology is bankrupt. They may claim out of expediency that they are at war with the United States or the West, but the fact is they terrorize their neighbors and offer them nothing but an endless slavery to their empty vision and the collapse of any definition of civilized behavior.”

Contrast those remarks to those of President Bush when a video was released in February 2002 by a Pakistani group that beheaded Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl:
Laura and I, and the American people, are deeply saddened to learn about the loss of Daniel Pearl's life.  And we're really sad for his wife and his parents, and his friends and colleagues, who have been clinging to hope for weeks that he be found alive.  We are especially sad for his unborn child, who will now know his father only through the memory of others.
All Americans are sad and angry to learn of the murder.  All around the world, American journalists and humanitarian aid workers and diplomats and others do important work in places that are sometimes dangerous.  Those who would threaten Americans, those who would engage in criminal, barbaric acts, need to know that these crimes only hurt their cause and only deepen the resolve of the United States of America to rid to world of these agents of terror.  May God bless Daniel Pearl.

Will the savage death of Foley open the eyes of liberal apologists?

According to Daniel Greenfield and Bare Naked Islam, “Foley came to Syria to support the Sunni Islamist rebels against the Syrian government. He often voiced his disdain for Mitt Romney.  He didn’t travel to report on a story, but to promote an agenda, a parallax view if you will, that was obvious from his Twitter feed.”  No other reporters, it would appear, bothered to read through his timeline.  Mr. Greenfield included many of those tweets in his post and here are two that demonstrate his political leanings:

UPDATE:  According to the White House travel pool, The World's Most Dangerous Community Organizer arrived at Vineyard Golf Club at 1:05 p.m., following his statement on the Foley beheading.

The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer And The JV Headchoppers Team

Last January, The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer dismissed the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) as a junior varsity terrorist outfit compared to al-Qaida. “The analogy we use around here sometimes, and I think is accurate,” he told The New Yorker, “is if a JV team puts on a Lakers uniform that doesn’t make them Kobe Bryant.”  Now the savage beasts are threatening to raise the black flag of Allah over the White House.

On Friday, CNN’s Jake Tapper asked Deputy National Security Advisor Tony Blinken about TWMDCO’s strategic shallowness.  Tapper seemed incredulous as he posed the question.  In a twofer Jim Acosta, CNN’s Senior White House correspondent, asked WH press secretary Josh Earnest, “Is it safe to say that ISIS are no longer the ‘JVs’?”

Here is Earnest’s angst-ridden response:
“I think what is appropriate to say is there is no question that the Lakers uniforms that were worn, to use that analogy a little bit, that were worn by the al-Qaeda leadership in Afghanistan has been decimated and defeated in Afghanistan. There is no question that is the result of the many decisions made by the president and the courageous service of our men and women in uniform and in the intelligence agencies. What is also true is that there are other organizations that subscribe to the violent extremist ideology that is espoused and promulgated by al-Qaeda.”
“Many of those groups in the nations across the globe are not particularly sophisticated and are focused on local sectarian conflicts that don't pose a significant or immediate threat to U.S. interests or the U.S. homeland. There are, of course, a couple other organizations that do pose a more substantial threat to the United States and our interests. Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula is one of them, and you've seen the United States in concert with our allies and partners take significant, important steps to mitigate the threat that is posed by those organizations that do have designs and capabilities to try to strike the United States, and in some cases try to strike the homeland.”
“We do remain concerned about the military proficiency that has been demonstrated by ISIL and that's why you've seen the president take steps, including the authorization of military force that would protect American citizens who might be harmed by them.”
Let me see if I have this straight.  The administration remains “concerned about the military proficiency that has been demonstrated”.  How reassuring.  I suppose the thousands of Christians stranded atop Mount Sinjar who are thirsting and starving to death are not evidence of a metastasizing force of pure, unadulterated evil and neither is the beheading of a toddler.  (WARNING:  Do not visit this link unless you are prepared to see extremely disturbing images.)

The errand boy sent by grocery clerks may not want a war with the brutal, hateful, oppressive, murderous, genocidal face of Islam, but it is at war with us.

He has known for months, as the rest of the world has, that ISIS has a stranglehold on vast swaths of Syria and Iraq.  It took the gut-wrenching pleading of Yazidi Prime Minister Vian Dakil to Iraq’s Presidential Council to stir the world’s awareness of the systematic genocide occurring in the region.

I have to agree with Turkish poet Serkan Engin:  “…the world will meet with a big tragedy when the Islamists get more power, as the world suffered because of Nazism.”
