Mean Tweets: CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Edition

Following the aftermath of Thursday’s terror attack, CNN’s Wolf Bullshitter Blitzer said there will be questions about whether “if what happened in Barcelona was at all a copycat version of what happened in Charlottesville,” after it was reported that a large van ran into pedestrians leaving several dead and many injured.  “Even though there may be different characters, different political ambitions. They used the same killing device, a vehicle going at high speed into a group, a large group of pedestrians.”

Did CNN forget the six attacks involving vehicles plowing through pedestrians in Europe over the past year?  Of course not.  It was just another good, strong whiff of hospital-tested, clinically-proven bullshit.

Wolf Blitzer’s Beard

Every so often someone wins the Internet with something clever.  Today was one of those days.  Curtis Houck at MRC’s NewsBusters reported that part of CNN’s live coverage of the deadly college shooting in Oregon had little Wolfie Blitzer filling in for Anderson Cooper.

CNN, as we all know, is the indisputable storehouse of pooled ignorance and off-the-wall opinion.  So Wolfie declared that The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer “was embarrassed of the United States in front of the world” when he commented on the tragedy and urged Americans to “politicize” mass shootings.

Speaking with chief political analyst Gloria Borger and senior Washington correspondent Jeff Zeleny, Blitzer proclaimed: “Cause it was almost like, Gloria, he was embarrassed of the United States in front of the world saying every other industrialized country, every other Western country, they don't have these kinds of mass shootings every few weeks as we have here in the United States.”
