A Little Blackmail Lasts Forever

PJ Media has learned from multiple sources that the House and Senate Intelligence Committees may have access to the contents of an Eastern European computer, potentially Russian, and that hackers may have exfiltrated Hillary Clinton's and Sidney Blumenthal's unsecured files by first hacking Marcel Lazar Lehel AKA Guccifer.

One or more American whistleblowers recently informed the Intelligence Committees that the files taken by the unknown hackers are available at specific locations in the Deep Web.

A congressional source who is familiar with the information says these documents are being called for now "the Russian files."  Getting them did not involve hacking Russians or anyone else, but rather locating the images that the files left behind while the unknown hackers moved them through the Deep Web.  When Clinton associates thought they were deleting her files, they may not have realized that files leave images even in the Deep Web when moved by hackers.

A preliminary review of the files indicated that they contain unclassified as well as potentially classified information, including one document relating to Benghazi that probably should have been highly classified and comes from one of Hillary Clinton's private computers.

Congress has learned that the FBI knew about the foreign exfiltration of that document from Clinton's server weeks before Director James Comey announced his decision not to recommend prosecution of Hillary Clinton for her use of private email.  Comey testified to Congress that Guccifer denied hacking Clinton and that Clinton was "probably" hacked, but did not allude to having received any information that she was hacked.

"With respect to potential computer intrusion by hostile actors, we did not find direct evidence that Secretary Clinton's personal e-mail domain in its various configuration since 2009 was hacked successfully. But given the nature of the system and of the actors potentially involved, we assess we would be unlikely to see such direct evidence," said Comey.

A congressional source who has met with a whistleblower commented that "even a Hillary supporter should want the public to know what foreigners took from her private servers, especially if it is damaging to her.  Otherwise the candidate could be blackmailed by a foreign power."

Live Streaming Hillary’s Benghazi Select Committee Hearing (Scheduled Start 10:00 AM ET)

Excerpts from Stephen Hayes’ piece at Weekly Standard:
Hillary Clinton will hide behind the State Department’s Accountability Review Board report.
The ARB never interviewed Secretary Clinton. It never sought to obtain her emails and never learned that she had set up a private server. The ARB chose not to interview State Department officials who were likely to offer testimony that contradicted the Obama administration’s preferred narrative, including Mark Thompson, the senior counterterrorism official at the State Department on duty the night of the attacks, who repeatedly offered to testify but was never contacted by the ARB investigators.

Among the issues that have dominated the attention of investigators is the matter of security before the attack. In previous congressional testimony, Clinton has volunteered that she was ultimately responsible for what happens at the State Department under her watch.
But Libya was different. US facilities there were increasingly under threat and those responsible for securing themand those who worked in themwere sounding alarms about inadequate security. A long trail of documents make clear that Clinton was intimately involved virtually every aspect of Libya policymaking and was receiving detailed reports from both formal State Department channels and from outside advisers (Sidney Blumenthal and others).

And, second, she will be asked why she had time to read, share and respond to a regular stream of emails from Blumenthal, who was barred by the Obama administration from working at the State Department, but did not have time to read urgent reports from State Department officials responsible for addressing the deteriorating security situation in Libya.
In that email, which Blumenthal sent Clinton in preparation for a meeting she was to have about the Libyan opposition; Blumenthal described at length the qualifications of an American security firm seeking contracts in Libya
According to Blumenthal, the firm, Osprey Global Solutions, had unique experience in chaotic wartime security environments. The training and assistance they could provide the Libyan opposition could break the stalemate between the rebels and the Qaddafi government. The opposition, Blumenthal wrote, had finally recognized that Qaddafi would not fall on his own and that they needed American assistance to force him out. Blumenthal argued that Osprey was the firm to provide that assistance and noted that he and two associates had secured an agreement between Osprey and the Libyan opposition.

Fax Me A Beer

The minions can photocopy their ass, but this ass can't work a fax machine.  Meh.

A batch of 3,000 of Cankles’ private emails have just been released and it seems she had an excruciating case of bewilderment regarding how to use her fax machine.  In one noteworthy chain of emails there was a “tense email standoff” with her aide Huma Abedin that is sublimely dim-witted:

“Can you hang up the fax line,” Abedin asked Clinton.

“I thought it was supposed to be off the hook to work?” Clinton replied.

“Yes, but hang up one more time,” Abedin shot back.

“I did,” Clinton replied.

Others in the batch reveal more entanglements to Sid Blumenthal, her musings about her relationship with The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer, her concern over unauthorized photographs taken with a camera with a “long lens from afar” and her apparent helplessness in fetching herself a cold drink:  (30 September 2009Pls call Sarah and ask her if she can make me some iced tea.)  Damn, bitch, that’s what I call lazy.
