“Sloppy Steve” Bannon is in serious trouble now that he and President Trump are waging a war of words. He just may not be very competent.

In the video embedded below, PJ Media’s Andrew Klavan noted, "You cannot lose Alabama to the Democrats.  It's almost impossible to do and yet Bannon helped do it."

Let’s be honest with ourselves here.  Roy Moore was embroiled in a sexual misconduct scandal that raged on for weeks.  Before any of us learned of his alleged mistreatment of young girls we already knew he’d been tossed from office twice before for his constitutional ignorance.

Klavan postulates the President bit his tongue for a long time before eventually issuing his brutal statement against Bannon.  “Trump is looking forward and thinking ‘I do not want this guy losing any more of my majority’ in the 2018 midterms.”

Klavan mentions a tweet from Mona Charen, Senior Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center:

Luke, You’re Certainly Nothing Like Your Father

NBC hired Luke Russert just a month after his father Tim’s fatal heart attack in 2008 to cover youth issues as part of the network’s 2008 presidential election coverage.  He knew critics had accused him of riding his father’s coattails on a wave of sympathy.

Luke made headlines in 2010 when he aggressively questioned Charlie Rangel (D-NY) when an ethics report uncovered fiscal indiscretions and illegal donation solicitations.  Rangel later apologized to little Luke.

Just five days before the 2016 Republican National Convention was to start, Luke Russert, the young congressional correspondent for NBC announced he was leaving the network to “think about his future”. Two days later, he was gone.  He suggested in a statement that the combination of his father’s sudden death and the opportunity of a plum job may have been “too much, too fast.”

Over the following year-and-a-half, Russert has remained fairly quiet.  His official website has remained unchanged.  His Twitter account reflects his interest in sports and his work as a member of the Buffalo Fan Alliance Board.  He has not forgotten about politics.

Little Luke should stick to whatever he’s doing these days and stick to subjects that are in his wheelhouse.  As an example, today he tweeted:

Reading about this bogus Roy Moore challenge, my biggest fear is that in 2020 a losing Trump actively attacks & delegitimizes the peaceful transfer of power, the most positive and fragile enduring aspect of our democracy.

Democrat Sheila Jackson Lee Is A Blithering Idiot

Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) is a publicity hound and a blithering idiot. The Congresswoman shows up to events without an invitation, eats up time at caucus meetings with grandiose speeches, repeatedly flubs facts on the House floor and frequently adds superfluous amendments to other members' bills.  Her behavior is so grating it makes people want to tear their hair out.

In 2014, the Houston Chronicle did a piece on her in which the columnist noted “weird stories” of her erratic and abusive behavior in the workplace.

One job of her aides is to cull the obituaries. One told friends of taking her to five funerals in one day, and of hating to have to ask the families if they would allow her to speak.

In 2006, Jackson Lee told the World Meteorological Organization hurricane names should be more representative of the cultures they impact, including blacks. “The National Weather Service says hurricane names are derived from languages spoken in areas that border the Atlantic Ocean, where such storms occur. Yet that doesn’t explain why Gaston, Ernesto and Cindy were chosen and Antwon, Destiny and Latonya were passed over.”

Jackson Lee, whose district neighbors the Johnson Space Center, is a member of the House Committee on Science.  As such, she visited the Mars Pathfinder Operations Center in Pasadena, CA.  In a moment of profound ignorance, she asked whether the Pathfinder had photographed the American flag Neil Armstrong had planted on the surface of Mars.  Officials at the Center had to point out the flag was planted on the Moon.  She didn’t take being embarrassed too kindly.  She had her chief of staff pen a letter including the phrase: “You thought you could have fun with a black woman member of the Science Committee.”

Yesterday, as Republican Roy Moore lost to Democrat Doug Jones, the world class numbnut congratulated “Doug Moore” on his stunning upset.  People noticed her grandiose stupidity:

Alabama Senate Race: Yippee Yi-Yo-Ki-Yay!

The polls are all over the place for today’s special election in Alabama to replace Luther Strange who replaced Jeff Sessions.  This is probably going to be a nail-biter for both sides of the political aisle.

Will Alabamians ignore the unrelenting reportage of Roy Moore’s alleged pedophilia?  It’s entirely possible since The Washington Post didn’t break the story before the primary between Strange and Moore.  I think you’d have a difficult time ignoring the deliberateness of the Democrat Party’s strategy:  interfere with the electoral process by creating enough suspicion about Moore so their radical pro-abortion candidate would beat him.

The way WaPo has savaged President Trump may be the impetus needed to ignore the 38-year-old allegations against Moore and demonstrate to the liberal media voters in Alabama won’t be manipulated.

If Moore does win and further evidence emerges indicating he is simply not fit to serve, Republicans can force him out and Alabama’s Republican governor can replace him with another Republican.  And…the Democrats will have been outfoxed again when the seat is still held by a REPUBLICAN.

Anyhoo, the press breathlessly covered Moore and his wife arriving at their polling place on horseback and it reminded me of the Cartwrights on the Ponderosa Ranch.
