As the death grip the Democrat Party has held on America begins to fade into nothingness, House Minority Leader Nancy Palsi, er, Pelosi denounced the GOP tax reform bill in hair-on-fire theatrics comparing it to Armageddon in early December. 

When the bill was passed on Wednesday, she escalated her bombast by insisting the bill would hurt children like Tiny Tim in the Charles Dickens Christmas classic A Christmas Carol.

As the sun rose in the eastern sky the following day, the disoriented shrew doubled down on her scaremongering fearing the image she had cast of little Timmy was too benign.  Yes. Yes, Nancy.  Whip out the scary things that go bump in the night.

"It's a monster–a Frankenstein–and anybody who's familiar with Frankenstein knows it was a creation, a monster that was created. Do you know the ending of Mary Shelley's story? The monster comes back to destroy," she added.

It is clear to this writer that Nancy doesn’t like to read.  Not even Cliffs Notes.  Not even the Affordable Care Act.  Remember the infamous line, “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.”

Dr. Victor Frankenstein was the mad doctor who created a grotesque creature not unlike Nancy.  She screwed up the climactic end.  Poor thing.

Listening To Crying Chuck Schumer Is So Hilarious

Watching the Democrats’ death rattle of indignation against the GOP tax reform bill for the last week or so has been amusing to say the least.  At every turn they have knowingly lied that the reform effort would hurt the middle class.

The day before the House voted Crying Chuck Schumer tweeted:

Tomorrow, Republicans will have a chance to vote down the #GOPTaxBill, which is one of the least popular pieces of legislation in the last 30 years. If they do, they’ll find a Democratic party that’s willing to work with them on real, bipartisan tax reform.

One of the least popular pieces of legislation was Obamacare that was jammed down the American people’s throat.  It’s hard to put any faith in what he says.  Schumer’s party shunned bipartisanship while they crafted that disaster.  Not a single Republican in the House or Senate cast a vote for it.  It was an unparalleled disaster and precisely what put Donald Trump in the Oval Office and gave Republicans control of both houses of government.

Scarcely a December has gone by since 1843 in which a stage adaptation hasn't been performed of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.  It’s always been a Christmas tradition in my home.  I chose a screencap from Disney’s adaption to depict what Schumer must be feeling after the successful passage of the bill.  In it Jacob Marley, Scrooge’s deceased business partner, now a chained and tormented ghost, is damned to wander the Earth forever as punishment for his greedy, selfish and uncaring attitude towards mankind.

The GOP tax plan is the Democrats’ worst nightmare.  After a year of resistance against a duly elected president, stone-walling Cabinet confirmations, slow-walking the departure of Obama appointees and perpetuating unfounded rumors about Russian collusion the Democrats are facing an emboldened President and Republican Party.

After a year of stunning stock market gains and a reviving economy Republicans will have an overabundance of good news to run on in the 2018 midterms and that, my friends, is Armageddon for the corrupt and flailing Democrats.

“Under this bill the working class, middle class and upper middle class get skewered while the rich and wealthy corporations make out like bandits. It is just the opposite of what America needs, and Republicans will rue the day they pass this," Schumer said in a statement. 

Who’s ruing the day now? Crying Chuck and his band of miserable miscreants are now condemned to wander the halls of Congress and witness what they cannot share.

The Republican tax bill caps the deduction for state and local taxes at $10,000. In 2015, more than 6 MILLION California households claimed the SALT deduction with an average deduction of $18,400. BOTTOM LINE: California families pay MORE so corporations pay LESS. #GOPTaxScam

Dems Will Have To Clutch Their Pearls One More Time

The House will have to revote on the bill it passed this afternoon due to procedural violations.

Several provisions in the House-passed overhaul appear to violate the procedural rules of the Senate according to Democrats and the Senate will need to vote on whether to waive the rules and keep those provisions in the bill, which takes 60 votes. Republicans will most likely lose those votes, striking the contested provisions from the bill and changing the language of the legislation. After the bill gets a final stamp of approval in the Senate, the bill will return to the house for a revote, likely Wednesday morning. 

The vote will likely take place Wednesday. The Senate is still expected to take up the bill later tonight.

Woman Protester Takes Top Off In Gallery Of House Of Representatives During Tax Reform Bill Vote

The House of Representatives passed the Republicans’ sweeping tax overhaul today sending the plan to the Senate and setting the stage for the bill to be signed into law by President Trump as early as this week.

The bill passed the House 227 to 203. All but 12 Republican members voted for the bill. Zero Democrats supported it.

“This is one of the most important pieces of legislation Congress has passed in decades…for all those millions of Americans struggling paycheck to paycheck, help is on the way,” House Speaker Paul Ryan said after the vote. “This is a good day for workers and a great day for growth.”

Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady (R-TX) echoed Ryan. “On New Year’s Day, America will have a new tax code for a new era of American prosperity.” 

The vote itself was chaotic, with a handful activists sitting in the public gallery repeatedly interrupting Republicans as they introduced the tax measure before they were escorted out by Capitol Police.

At one point, an activist yelled, “You are lying to yourselves!” and told House Republicans they needed to go back to school to learn math, which elicited laughter among the Democrats on the floor.

A woman in a wheelchair chanted, “Shame! Shame!” as she was removed from the gallery. 

At another point, someone on the Republican side of the chamber reacted to the activists by shouting, “Throw her ass out!”

Last Minute Christmas Shopping Idea For “Little Marco”

Marco Rubio is acting like a Democrat on tax reform.  He’s drawn a line in the sand saying he’s a definite “No” unless the final bill includes a further expansion of the refundable child tax credit he’s been advocating.  He’s willing to blow the whole thing up if he doesn’t get his way; exactly what a Democrat would do.

On the presidential campaign trail, Rubio tangled with Trump in starkly personal ways—at one point over a measure of their manhood. 

Could someone get this man a spine for Christmas?  He’s already got plenty of water.
