A live feed blunder saw
cameras cut to new French president Emmanuel Macron having his make-up applied
as the world waited for his first speech as French president.
His speech was beamed to
millions around the globe but several news stations screened an unscheduled
behind-the-scenes look at preparations thinking he was about to speak.
Viewers saw the
39-year-old unwittingly rehearsing his lines, drinking water and having powder
applied to his face minutes before the biggest speech of his political career.
According to a May 3 published
report from The
Quebec Telegram, the mommy wife of France’s new Napoleon, 25
years his senior, dresses him and he
“relies on the services of full-time makeup artists used by former French
presidents Nicolas Sarkozy and François
Hollande. Hollande’s hairdresser was
paid $10,829 dollars (€9895 euros) per month.
