The 388th and 419th
Fighter Wings of the U.S. Air Force performed a huge show of
strength by launching more than 50 fully-armed F-35A Lightning II
stealth fighters in a single wave following an “elephant walk” down the runway
at Hill AFB in Utah yesterday.
The model is billed as
the most advanced military aircraft ever sent into the skies with improved
lethality, survivability and adaptability against emerging threats in order to
maintain air superiority.
The United States just spent Two Trillion Dollars on Military Equipment. We are the biggest and by far the BEST in the World! If Iran attacks an American Base, or any American, we will be sending some of that brand new beautiful equipment their way...and without hesitation!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 5, 2020
While the exercise had been planned for several months, the execution of it came in the same week America
braces for Iran to respond to the drone strike killing of Gen.
Soleimani.
Nine months ago, six F-35As left Hill AFB for Al Dhafra Air Base (see three maps of the region below) in the United Arab Emirates to participate in coalition air operations to take out ISIS militants.
Israel is already
operating twelve of these stealth fighters.

The fighter wings are home to 78 aircraft.
