Marie Yovanovitch,
former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, was an Obama Administration holdover. She was appointed by The World’s Most
Dangerous Community Organizer in 2016. President
Trump ordered her to be recalled from her post this past May following
allegations of partisanship and political bias.
“The embassy in Ukraine
was a ‘Hillary Clinton for President’ office. And they were looking to dig up
dirt on President Trump,” the president’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani said.
“There was a lot more collusion with Ukraine than in Russia, where there
doesn’t appear to be any. They were trying to bring Trump down,” Giuliani
continued.
It took a complaint
from an Intelligence Community whistleblower, released late last month, to
reveal the weight of just how vast a network of enemies inside and outside his
own government had been amassed to work against him.
Yovanovich used her personal
email account to communicate with Democratic congressional staffer Laura
Carey concerning a delicate and time-sensitive matter just two days after the
whistleblower complaint. This is in
direct contradiction of her sworn testimony last month in which she told Rep.
Lee Zeldin (R-NY) she “never responded to it.”
[Government employees
are issued a government email address to conduct official business. Using a personal email account to communicate
is evidence of an elaborate trap that was set.
Problem is the trap intended to catch the President just caught these
rats.]
Emails obtained
by Fox News' Tucker Carlson showed that, in fact, Yovanovitch had
responded to Carey's initial Aug. 14 email, writing that she "would love
to reconnect and look forward to chatting with you."
It appears Ambassador Yovanovitch did not accurately answer this question I asked her during her “impeachment inquiry” deposition under oath. https://t.co/2Ju420Pkpb pic.twitter.com/WACsyksMzW— Lee Zeldin (@RepLeeZeldin) November 8, 2019
"I would highly
suspect that this Democratic staffer's work was connected in some way to the
whistleblower's effort, which has evolved into this impeachment charade," Rep.
Zeldin said. "We do know that the whistleblower was in contact with House
Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff's team before the whistleblower had
even hired an attorney or filed a whistleblower complaint even though
Schiff had lied to the public originally claiming that there was no
contact. Additionally, while the contents of the email from this staffer
to Ambassador Yovanovitch clearly state what the conversation would be
regarding, Yovanovitch, when I asked her specifically what
the staffer was looking to speak about, did not provide
these details."
Zeldin added: "I
specifically asked her whether the Democratic staffer was responded to by
Yovanovitch or the State Department. It is greatly concerning that Ambassador
Yovanovitch didn't answer my question as honestly as she should have,
especially while under oath."
