I couldn’t help
thinking as I watched Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) during Tuesday’s House Judiciary Committee
hearing on the rising tide of white nationalism and hate crimes that this
little weasel fancies himself some sort of Samurai warrior.
Rep. Guy Reschenthaler
(R-PA) invited Candace Owens to speak on the subject. Her opening statement was riveting. In it she shared her personal experience with
a hate crime. Seated directly behind her
was her 75-year-old grandfather.
"Let me be clear,
the hearing today is not about white nationalism or hate crimes, it is about
fear mongering, power and control," Owens said. "It is a preview of a
Democrat 2020 election strategy the same as the Democrat 2016 election
strategy.”
"The goal here is
to scare Blacks, Hispanics, gays and Muslims into helping them censor
dissenting opinions ultimately helping them regain control of our country’s
narrative.”
"The biggest
scandal in American politics is Democrats have been conning minorities into the
belief that we are perpetual victims; all but ensuring our failure. Racial
division and class warfare are central to the Democrat Party platform. They
need Blacks to hate whites, the rich to hate the poor. Soon enough it will be
the tall hating the short," Owens concluded.
The disgraceful Lieu
did not bother to ask Owens a question, but rather whipped out his cellphone as
though it were a Samurai sword to play a 30-second portion of a one-year-old recording
of the young black conservative woman as she addressed a British audience
attempting to distinguish the difference between nationalism and Nazi socialism.
It was Lieu’s naked attempt
to falsely accuse Owens of being a Hitler apologist which, of course, she is not.
Rep. Reschenthaler
invited Owens to respond to Lieu’s skulduggery.
“I think it's pretty
apparent Mr. Lieu believes black people are stupid and will not pursue the full
clip in its entirety,” Owens said.
'He purposefully
extracted, he cut off, and you didn't hear the question that was asked of me.
He's trying to present [the clip] as though I was mounting a defense of Hitler
in Germany when, in fact, the question that was asked of me was pertaining to
whether or not I believed in nationalism, and whether nationalism was bad,” she
continued, as Lieu sat there, having to listen to her defense.
“And I responded that I
do not believe that we should be characterizing Hitler as a nationalist. He was
a homicidal, psychopathic maniac who killed his own people. A nationalist would
not kill their own people.”
Lieu has openly stated he
would love to be able to regulate
speech and was recently embroiled in a salacious scandal involving campaign
donations from Democrat donor Ed Buck who had two
gay black men die in his apartment.
A published report in Advocate
stated Buck has a “fetish for shooting drugs into youthful black men he picks
up off the street or on hook-up sites.
Buck, it should be noted, is a 65-year-old white man.
The Los Angeles Times did
a bio
of Buck in January of this year that included this lewd tidbit: Buck was arrested in 1983 for public sexual
indecency for grabbing the crotch of another man in a bookstore. Buck pleaded
guilty to disturbing the peace and cracked to reporters, “What they didn't say
was that the man enjoyed it.”
His Facebook page has
boasted dozens of photos of him with prominent Democrats, including former
Secretary of State and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, California Gov.
Jerry Brown, and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.
I guarantee you; the
next time Lieu has to tangle with Ms. Owens he’d better actually be wearing his
Samurai armor to avoid being sliced and diced like that again.
