My March Madness
officially begins today with the First Round of the ACC Tournament from the
Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. The
Second Round is the following day.
Duke (25-6) opens the
ACC tournament Thursday, along with the other top four seeds—including No. 1
Virginia (28-2), the Conference’s regular season champion.
A monster second half
effort propelled No. 5 Duke to a 74-64 win over arch rival and ninth-ranked
North Carolina Saturday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Duke’s 74-64 victory
over the Heels was sweet revenge for an 82-78 loss to the Heels on Feb. 8. With
the win, Coach K’s team locked up the No. 2 seed and Carolina will be the No. 6
seed.
Coach Krzyzewski
has more ACC titles than any ACC coach.
Here’s hoping Duke
brings it during the ACC Tournament earning them a good pairing on Selection
Sunday for the NCAA National Championship Tourney.
