Critics
who dwell in the hive of journalism judge things based on what is outside their
scope of understanding. So, it was on
Good Friday when NBC’s Chuck Todd tweeted:
I’m a bit hokey when it comes to “Good Friday.” I don’t mean disrespect to the religious aspect of the day, but I love the idea of reminding folks that any day can become “good,” all it takes is a little selflessness on our own part. Works EVERY time.— Chuck Todd (@chucktodd) March 30, 2018
What does Mr. Todd know
of selflessness?
No one ever deserved
suffering less yet received so much. No one has ever had a greater right to
retaliate but never did. No one has ever
borne so much injustice yet never sought vengeance.
The Savior offered His
forgiveness to others before they ever knew they wanted it..."Father,
forgive them; for they know not what they do."
