Fake Chews And The Armchair Neurologist

Unless I’ve missed my guess, MSNBC will do anything for laughs.  Remember Ricky Madcow’s epic buildup of President Trump’s two-page 2005 tax returns?  The cable "news" company also has two smear merchants on “The Morning Joe” show who daily insist President Trump is senile or mentally unstable.  Enter Lawrence O’Donnell the host of The Last Word.
I never watch anything on MSNBC.  I learn of the über-liberal parade of self-beclowning stooges through Twitter timelines and today was such a day.
O’Donnell, you may recall, had an epic profanity-laced meltdown of more than eight minutes three months ago.  The video, according to Page Six, was leaked by Andy Lack (the same guy who fired Matt Lauer) because O’Donnell had angered him in May by tweeting to fans about his contract negotiations.
He was forced to apologize on Twitter saying, “A better anchorman and a better person would’ve had a better reaction to technical difficulties.”
On Wednesday, President Donald Trump said the United States recognizes Jerusalem as Israel's capital and would move its embassy there, upending decades of a diplomatic consensus over the status of the city pioneered by his predecessors.  He kept a promise he made on the campaign trail─the very same promise made and broken by Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
The last few seconds of his speech drew out the conspiracy theorists.  Were his dentures giving him trouble?  Did he have a mini-stroke?  The White House insisted it was nothing more than dry-mouth.
The following day O’Donnell tweeted:
Trump’s speech was important for diplomacy in the region.  Israel captured that land from Jordan during the 1967 Middle East war and annexed it; a move that has not been recognized internationally.  In 1980, the Israelis passed a law declaring Jerusalem the “complete and united” capital of their country.  Trump’s actions corrected a historic injustice.
The historic injustice to which I refer is the egregious maligning by the United Nations of the state of Israel.  During a tense emergency meeting of the UN Security Council today, UN Ambassador Nikki Haley defended the president’s actions saying three presidents delayed the decision in the hope that a peace process would produce results─results that never came.  Haley reprimanded the UN for its negative role in the peace process saying the world body has been “one of the world’s foremost centers of hostility toward Israel.  We will not be a party to that.  The United States no longer stands by when Israel is attacked in the United Nations.
I said all that to say this:  The President’s speech was a bit mumbled at the end of his announcement, but nowhere near Nancy Pelosi Palsi territory and I’m so tired of the pundit class pretending to be concerned about the health of a president they clearly despise.

The Turn Of The Screw

According to a published report by Reuters, Chinese banks received a document from U.S. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin on Monday.  One week earlier, the United Nations Security Council approved a new resolution against Pyongyang; the ninth set of sanctions.
The contents of the document are as yet unknown but are suspected to include economic sanctions on China cutting off Beijing’s access to the U.S. financial system.
Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Ed Royce (R-CA) said, “We need to use every ounce of leverage…to put maximum pressure on this rogue regime,” adding that “time is running out.” Royce also called on Washington to target major Chinese banks, including the Agricultural Bank of China and the China Merchants Bank for dealing with Pyongyang.
Royce also said, “It’s been a long, long time of waiting for China to comply with the sanctions that we pass and, frankly, with the sanctions that the United Nations passed.”
The committee chair went on to say the U.S. could give Chinese banks and companies “a choice between doing business with North Korea or the United States.” He added that the U.S. should also “go after banks and companies in other countries that do business with North Korea the same way.”
After four days of high-level meetings between the United States and several southeast Asian countries, President Trump announced at a luncheon with South Korea’s Moon Jae-In and Japan’s Shinzo Abe that China’s Central Bank instructed its financial institutions to stop doing business with North Korea, an action that is certain to have devastating financial consequences for the rogue regime.
As President Trump announced his newest executive order on Thursday he praised China’s president Xi Jinping for the “very bold move.”  “Our new executive order will cut off sources of revenue that fund North Korea’s efforts to develop the deadliest weapons known to humankind,” Trump said. He added that the U.S. seeks the “complete denuclearization of North Korea.”
Han Tae Song, Pyongyang's ambassador to the United Nations, was scheduled to address the United Nations General Assembly on Friday but has delayed that speech.  No doubt the DPRK has been left thoroughly discombobulated over the forces being amassed against them and are feverishly referring to a thesaurus to top yesterday’s insult of comparing President Trump to a “barking dog”.

American Patience Is Not Infinite

You could see the delegates in the great hall of the United Nations flapping their gums as they leaned in to the person seated next to them as they expressed their contempt for President Trump’s long-standing habit of demeaning enemies with disparaging nicknames.
The assembled parasitic, anti-American, left-wing poster children for bureaucratic corruption whispered their contempt for the truth.  Just two days before the 72nd Session of the General Assembly the President tweeted:
If North Korea’s maniacal Kim Jong Un continues his nuclear blackmail─threatening to “envelop” Guam with missiles and launching a “nuclear counterattack the U.S. cannot cope with”─President Trump warned the tin pot dictator the United States “will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea.  Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime.”
Former Ambassador to the U.N., John Bolton declared, “This was the best speech of the Trump presidency, in my view. I think it’s as clear and direct as it’s possible to be. I think it’s safe to say in the entire history of the United Nations, there has never been a more straightforward criticism of the behavior, the unacceptable behavior of other member states. There are a lot of people in the U.N. who have never heard anything like that from an American president.”
President Trump has done a great service for the civilized world through his impassioned defense of national sovereignty, national security and prosperity.
UPDATE:  At 5:50 PM today, Yonhap News Service, the mouthpiece of the North Korean government, tweeted:

President Trump Stumps The UN

Say what you will, President Trump shock rocked the world in his speech to the United Nations General Assembly. And he did it without a teleprompter.
Contrary to his mealy-mouthed predecessors, the President called a spade an entrenchment tool and let the world know that he will defend America's interests and that the free ride is over. The UN must clean up its act. Trump also singled out three nations whose activities are of special concern to America.
First, North Korea:
"The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea. Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime."
This is not new. For most of his term in office, President Trump has been warning North Korea's Insane Boy Clown For Life that he is walking on a razor's edge. What is new is that the UN's General Assembly was treated to the harsh clanging of an American President who has brass ones.
Second on Trump's "List of Nations I Want To Bitch Slap" was Iran:
"The Iranian government masks a corrupt dictatorship behind the false guise of a democracy. It has turned a wealthy country with a rich history and culture into an economically depleted rogue state whose chief exports are violence, bloodshed, and chaos."
America owes Iran a severe ass kicking. The terrorists who run the remains of the Persian Empire have been killing Americans for decades without a single cruise missile to remind them that Uncle Sam's beard is not a trapeze. I still remember 241 Marines murdered in their barracks and the US embassy in Beirut destroyed under Reagan's watch.
There's been a shit ton of interest accruing just for these two incidents much less the chaos and death the Iranian government have abetted since then. It's way past time for the US to collect on this debt.
Third, our once friendly neighbor to the south, Venezuela:
"The problem in Venezuela is not that socialism has been poorly implemented, but that socialism has been faithfully implemented. From the Soviet Union to Cuba to Venezuela, wherever true socialism or communism has been adopted, it has delivered anguish and devastation and failure."
Boom chica wow wow. That left a mark on Lenin's ass in Hell. The people of Venezuela are suffering terribly and there is only one reason why their distress is so great…their government. Thank you, Lord Jesus for delivering us from Hillary Chavez.
More here.
Of course the libs are foaming at the mouth and chasing their tails after listening to the President's UN speech, as expected. What I find really disturbing is Chief of Staff John Kelly's reaction while his boss was delivering the message.

Kelly needs to go. If this idiot cannot keep a poker face while his President is addressing the world he should get a paper route to supplement his Army pension.
Get rid of Kelly Mr. President.

UN Jackals And Their Atrocious Betrayal of Israel

The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer has made two trips to Israel.  The first was July 24, 2008 as a presidential candidate to Jerusalem’s Western Wall, Judaism’s most holy site, and again as president in March 2013.

Jerusalem is the ancient capital of Israel and site of the original temple.  The Western Wall is where the Ten Commandments were stored in the Ark of the Covenant.  The Western Wall is also known as the Wailing Wall by Jews who make pilgrimages there to grieve the persecution of the Jewish people.

It was at the Western Wall that Obama left a note that read, “Lord—Protect my family and me.  Forgive me my sins, and help me guard against pride and despair.  Give me the wisdom to do what is right and just.  And make me an instrument of your will.”  He vowed to forge an “unshakable bond” with Israel if he became the next president.

When he traveled to Israel again in 2013, his itinerary included a trip to Yad Vashem a living memorial to the Holocaust and to those who were “righteous among the nations”.  The “righteous” were those who summoned extraordinary courage to save the Jews from extermination by the Nazis.

“This is my second visit to this living memorial.  Since then, I’ve walked among the barbed wire and guard towers of Buchenwald.  Rabbi Lau told me of his time there, and we reminisced about our good friend, Elie Wiesel, and the memories that he shared with me.  I have stood in the old Warsaw ghetto, with survivors who would not go quietly. But nothing equals the wrenching power of this sacred place, where the totality of the Shoah is told.  We could come here a thousand times, and each time our hearts would break.”
“For here we see the depravity to which man can sink; the barbarism that unfolds when we begin to see our fellow human beings as somehow less than us, less worthy of dignity and of life.  We see how evil can, for a moment in time, triumph when good people do nothing, and how silence abetted a crime unique in human history.”
“Here we see their faces and we hear their voices.  We look upon the objects of their lives—the art that they created, the prayer books that they carried.  We see that even as they had hate etched into their arms, they were not numbers.  They were men and women and children—so many children—sent to their deaths because of who they were, how they prayed, or who they loved.”
“And yet, here, alongside man’s capacity for evil, we also are reminded of man’s capacity for good—the rescuers, the Righteous Among the Nations who refused to be bystanders.  And in their noble acts of courage, we see how this place, this accounting of horror, is, in the end, a source of hope.”
His soaring rhetoric and honeyed words betray his deep Palestinian ties.  To this day, The Los Angeles Times refuses to release the Rashid Khalidi tape they acquired surreptitiously which lays bare Mr. Obama’s disdain of Israel and his effusive support of Middle East radicals.  He is a political chameleon.

On December 23, 2016, Obama broke with the longstanding practice of both Democratic and Republican administrations to protect Israel from one-sided UN resolutions. He let the United Nations Security Council pass a resolution declaring the establishment of settlements by Israel “a flagrant violation under international law."

The resolution demands that "Israel immediately and completely cease all settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem." The Obama administration abstained rather than veto this resolution as it had done with regard to a similar resolution back in 2011.

It declares that any Jew who lives in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem which has been inhabited for a thousand years is illegal and in violation of international law. It is now the official position of the United States of America that the Western Wall and the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem belongs to the Palestinians.

The Council passed the resolution, 14-0.  The countries voting for the resolution were Great Britain, France, Russia, China, Japan, Ukraine, Angola, Egypt, Uruguay, Spain, Senegal, New Zealand, Malaysia and, of course, the US by abstention.

Israel has accused Obama of colluding with the Palestinians against the Jewish state. The remaining question is whether Jewish leaders and Democratic politicians who vouched for Obama and defended him for eight years will now tell the truth.

The American taxpayer foots 22% of the total United Nations budget.  What we get for our three billion dollars a year is a corrupt organization whose dysfunctional and hostile agencies are united in opposing America around the world.

I wholeheartedly agree with Daniel Greenfield’s take on the UN:
“These days, the United Nations is a forum for Islamist powers and the rotting remains of the Communist front to continue its war against the free world while seducing weak-minded nations into going along.”
“We are not making the world a better place by being members of this anti-American organization which vacillates between being evil and useless.”

The Ticking Time Bomb Coming To Your Hometown

Provocative title?  You bet it is and with good reason.

The United Nations and radical Islamists are choosing your new Muslim neighbors.

According to a published report dated November 17, 2015, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Antonio Guterres, is working “hand in hand” with an international Islamist group of 57 Muslim nations—The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)—whose founding charter seeks to propagate “legitimate jihad” and the “norms of Islamic Shariah” and is tied to the radical Muslim Brotherhood.

The report goes on to say, “While the UN calls its project "refugee resettlement," the Islamists call it "hijra," or immigration jihad.
"Muhammad told his followers to migrate and spread Islam in order to dominate all the lands of the world," said Ann Corcoran, author of "Refugee Resettlement and the Hijra to America."
"As of mid-2015, UNHCR has referred more than 15,000 Syrian refugees to the United States," the 71-page report adds. "And these individuals are being screened to determine whether they are eligible."
Of course, that security screening is a joke, as the FBI director and his top counterterrorism aide, as well as the Homeland Security and National Intelligence chiefs, have all testified.
State notes in its report that security checks include "biographic name checks for all refugee applicants and biometric (fingerprint) checks for refugee applicants." Only Syria is a failed state, and there are no fingerprint databases to check applicants against.
The Islamic State has publicly vowed to use the refugee program to invade [emphasis mine] Europe and America, and allegedly has already infiltrated some 4,000 "warriors" among the flood of Syrian refugees.

Am I reacting to the atrocities of the recent Paris attacks?  No.

I don’t want to get caught up in a web of semantics and technical differences, but the FBI’s director of Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center told ABC News that there were dozens of counterterrorism investigations into resettled refugees.

A glaring example of this administration’s inability to adequately “screen” those coming into this country is the case of the Boston Marathon bombers, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who were Chechen.  The Russian government warned US authorities that they were violent radical Islamists more than a year and a half before the April 2013 bombing.

“In March 2011, the FSB, the Russian intelligence agency that arose from the remnants of the KGB, sent a cable to the FBI with its concerns about Tamerlan Tsarnaev and the Tsarnaev family. By then, the Tsarnaevs, a Muslim family of mixed Chechen ancestry, had been living in Massachusetts for almost a decade.”

These two men murdered three people, one of whom was an 8-year-old boy and injured more than 260 others leaving some as amputees.

As Dzhokhar lay wounded in a boat from multiple police bullets he wrote, "The US government is killing our innocent civilians, but most of you already know that. As a Muslim I can't stand to see such evil go unpunished. We Muslims are one body, you hurt one you hurt us all...Know you are fighting men who look into the barrel of your gun and see heaven. Now how can you compete with that? We are promised victory and we will surely get it."

As the headlines scream at us, The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer continues to insult anyone who believes the refugee resettlement program poses a clear and present danger.  It is so simple for he and his disciples to scold to us from their gated communities that “slamming the door in their faces would be a betrayal of our values.”

It is his abject failure in the Middle East that has wrought this crisis.  Thanks Obama.

Netanyahu: Telling The World The Truth About Those Who Seek Our Destruction

Watching Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu address the 70th United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday, his countenance seemed inexplicably restless as he reached for first one pair of glasses then exchanging them for another in his jacket breast pocket.

He gazed upon the audience noting the representatives of the nations assembled there walking out and the conspicuous absence of those who had already left the auditorium to boycott his speech.  That gesture was heralding what would follow a short time later in his speech.

On Monday, in her speech on the floor of the UN General Assembly, Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner revealed that former White House Coordinator for Arms Control and Weapons of Mass Destruction, Gary Samore, attempted to convince Argentina to provide the Islamic Republic of Iran with nuclear fuel to increase its nuclear capabilities.

According to Kirchner, when Samore was asked to provide the request in writing, all communication from the United States ceased. “This message was conveyed and I believe that was the last time, after that communication, that our Minister of Foreign Affairs saw Gary Samore.”
NOTE:  Buried within a press release issued in August of this year, UANI (United Against Nuclear Iran) announced its president, Mr. Samore, had resigned his post.  Responding to this bombshell, a senior administration official told The Blaze that “the fuel swap story is old news and was a confidence building gesture.”
The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer finds America’s allegiance to Israel problematic because of Israel’s ferocious opposition to a nuclear deal with Iran.  In a speech at the American University in Washington he said, “I believe the facts support this deal.  I believe they are in America’s interests and Israel’s interests, and as President of the United States it would be an abrogation of my constitutional duty to act against my best judgment simply because it causes temporary friction with a dear friend and ally.”

Taken together, it is easy to understand the thundering rage expressed by Prime Minister Netanyahu as it becomes more and more clear that Israel stands alone and this president continues his humiliating treatment of our closest ally.

From an excerpt of his speech:
The vast majority of Israelis believe that this nuclear deal with Iran is a very bad deal. And what makes matters even worse is that we see a world celebrating this bad deal, rushing to embrace and do business with a regime openly committed to our destruction.
[SKIP]
Last month, Khamenei once again made his genocidal intentions clear before Iran’s top clerical body, the Assembly of Experts. He spoke about Israel, home to over six million Jews. He pledged, “there will be no Israel in 25 years.”
Seventy years after the murder of six million Jews, Iran’s rulers promise to destroy my country. Murder my people. And the response from this body, the response from nearly every one of the governments represented here has been absolutely nothing!
Utter silence!
Deafening silence.
(At this point, Netanyahu paused for 45 seconds panning the hall with a furrowing glare)
Perhaps you can now understand why Israel is not joining you in celebrating this deal. If Iran’s rulers were working to destroy your countries, perhaps you’d be less enthusiastic about the deal. If Iran’s terror proxies were firing thousands of rockets at your cities, perhaps you’d be more measured in your praise. And if this deal were unleashing a nuclear arms race in your neighborhood, perhaps you’d be more reluctant to celebrate.
But don’t think that Iran is only a danger to Israel. Besides Iran’s aggression in the Middle East and its terror around the world, Iran is also building intercontinental ballistic missiles whose sole purpose is to carry nuclear warheads. Now remember this:  Iran already has missiles that can reach Israel. So those intercontinental ballistic missiles that Iran is building—they’re not meant for us—They’re meant for you. For Europe. For America. For raining down mass destruction—anytime, anywhere.

Donald Trump: “I'd Enjoy Meeting With Putin”

Donald Trump believes having a relationship with others is an important aspect of deal-making.
During last Wednesday's CNN GOP debate at the Reagan Presidential Library, the billionaire presidential hopeful said again that he thought he could get along with other global power players.

"I would talk to [Putin], I would get along with him," he said on the debate stage. "I believe—and I may be wrong, in which case I'd probably have to take a different path—but I would get along with a lot of the world leaders that this country is not getting along with."

According to a published report from CBS News, Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to attend the United Nations’ 70th General Assembly in New York City next Sunday.  Michael Cohen, The Trump Organization’s Vice President, hinted “there’s a better than likely chance Trump may meet with Putin when he comes here for the United Nations,”
“People have been talking,” Trump told NBC.  “I heard that he wanted to meet with me and certainly I am open to it.  I would love to do that if he wants to do that.”  If it was arranged, Trump said he’d “enjoy doing it.”
That brought to mind the creatively genius Photoshop™ by bkeyser, the USMC veteran, who submitted the image that went viral of The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer on horseback with Putin.

Silly Earthlings

I lumme some science fiction flicks; Star Wars, Star Trek, Alien, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Blade Runner, The Day the Earth Stood Still, E.T.: The Extraterrestrial and War of the Worlds.  Some of the best television sci-fi shows were Earth—The Final Conflict, 3rd Rock From the Sun, V, Space 1999, Battlestar Galactica, Lost In Space, My Favorite Martian, Babylon 5, Star Trek: The Next Generation and, of course, the original Star Trek which aired for just three seasons from 1966 to 1969.  No need to remind you that the show went on to inspire several movies, spinoffs and a bazillion fans.
Why are people fascinated with this genre?  Perhaps it’s the sense of wonder of what’s out there and the fact that it’s hard to define.  It fires the imagination thanks to stellar writers like H.G. Wells, Jules Verne, Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke and Ray Bradbury to name a few.
SETI (the Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) halted its operations in April of this year after federal and California budget shortfalls. Over 2500 donors have helped SETI resume its hunt for intelligent life with its Allen Telescope Array (ATA).
Speaking to International Business Times, Tom Pierson, who co-founded the SETI Institute with Jill Tarter said, “We are so grateful to our donors.  We believe we will be back on the air in September.”
According to Hello From Earth, one of the messages now headed for the stars reads: “You are cordially invited to an interplanetary barbeque 6:00 p.m. 4, October 2452 at my place. BYO beer and meat. RSVP.”
In September of 2010, it was reported that Malaysian astrophysicist Mazlan Othman had been declared the Head of the Office for Outer Space Affairs by the United Nations to represent earthlings in the inevitable "take me to your leader" moment.
According to Othman, “The continued search for extraterrestrial communication, by several entities, sustains the hope that someday humankind will receive signals from extraterrestrials.” She then went on to state that should we ever hear from aliens, the world should have a coordinated response to that momentous occasion, and argues that “the UN is a ready-made mechanism for such coordination.”
The Guardian, a publication fraught with stupidity, highlights a report that aliens may destroy humanity to protect other civilizations. "A preemptive strike would be particularly likely in the early phases of our expansion because a civilisation may become increasingly difficult to destroy as it continues to expand. Humanity may just now be entering the period in which its rapid civilisational expansion could be detected by an ETI because our expansion is changing the composition of the Earth's atmosphere, via greenhouse gas emissions," the report states.

"Green" aliens might object to the environmental damage humans have caused on Earth and wipe us out to save the planet. "These scenarios give us reason to limit our growth and reduce our impact on global ecosystems. It would be particularly important for us to limit our emissions of greenhouse gases, since atmospheric composition can be observed from other planets," the authors write.

Even if we never make contact with extraterrestrials, the report argues that considering the potential scenarios may help to plot the future path of human civilisation, avoid collapse and achieve long-term survival.

This article was amended on 19 August 2011. The subhead said the report was "for NASA". This has been corrected.

Oliver Morton, co-author of the article admits to making a “horrible mistake.”

So here’s the thing. This isn’t a “NASA report.” It’s not work funded by NASA, nor is it work supported by NASA in other ways. It was just a fun paper written by a few friends, one of whom happens to have a NASA affiliation.
[SNIP]
But I do admit to making a horrible mistake. It was an honest one, and a naive one… but it was a mistake nonetheless. I should not have listed my affiliation as “NASA Headquarters.” I did so because that is my current academic affiliation. But when I did so I did not realize the full implications that has. I’m deeply sorry for that, but it was a mistake borne out of carelessness and inexperience and nothing more. I will do what I can to rectify this, including distributing this post to the Guardian, Drudge, and NASA Watch. Please help me spread this post to the other places you may see the article inaccurately attributed to NASA.
Attention Melamakians, Mork from Ork, Gort and all you other wacky, fun-loving aliens:    Stay away from Earth.  We have been overrun by a cult of global warming moonbats whose intelligence quotient retards their ability to park a bicycle straight.

We now return you to your regular programming.
