Democrat Sheila Jackson Lee Is A Blithering Idiot

Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) is a publicity hound and a blithering idiot. The Congresswoman shows up to events without an invitation, eats up time at caucus meetings with grandiose speeches, repeatedly flubs facts on the House floor and frequently adds superfluous amendments to other members' bills.  Her behavior is so grating it makes people want to tear their hair out.
In 2014, the Houston Chronicle did a piece on her in which the columnist noted “weird stories” of her erratic and abusive behavior in the workplace.
One job of her aides is to cull the obituaries. One told friends of taking her to five funerals in one day, and of hating to have to ask the families if they would allow her to speak.
In 2006, Jackson Lee told the World Meteorological Organization hurricane names should be more representative of the cultures they impact, including blacks. “The National Weather Service says hurricane names are derived from languages spoken in areas that border the Atlantic Ocean, where such storms occur. Yet that doesn’t explain why Gaston, Ernesto and Cindy were chosen and Antwon, Destiny and Latonya were passed over.”
Jackson Lee, whose district neighbors the Johnson Space Center, is a member of the House Committee on Science.  As such, she visited the Mars Pathfinder Operations Center in Pasadena, CA.  In a moment of profound ignorance, she asked whether the Pathfinder had photographed the American flag Neil Armstrong had planted on the surface of Mars.  Officials at the Center had to point out the flag was planted on the Moon.  She didn’t take being embarrassed too kindly.  She had her chief of staff pen a letter including the phrase: “You thought you could have fun with a black woman member of the Science Committee.”
Yesterday, as Republican Roy Moore lost to Democrat Doug Jones, the world class numbnut congratulated “Doug Moore” on his stunning upset.  People noticed her grandiose stupidity:
How do the people of Texas’s 18th Congressional District continue to tolerate this mental midget?

The Dumbest Human Being In Congress

At some point in everyone’s life we are saddled with a burden.  The citizens of Texas’s 18th Congressional District have been saddled with Sheila Jackson Lee since 1995.

Jackson Lee is the undisputed poster child for utter stupidity.  Three years ago she suggested to congressional colleagues the US Constitution was 400 years old.  The Washington Times noted her remarks.  “Maybe I should offer a good thanks to the distinguished members of the majority, the Republicans, my chairman and others, for giving us an opportunity to have a deliberative constitutional discussion that reinforces the sanctity of this nation and how well it is that we have lasted some 400 years, operating under a Constitution that clearly defines what is constitutional and what it is not.”

(The US Constitution was formally adopted on Sept. 17, 1787 and ratified on June 21, 1788.)

The graduate of Yale University and the University of Virginia Law School has a cascade of gaffes.  The one I find particularly laughable goes back to her second year as a congresswoman.  It was 1997.  Lee was visiting the Mars Pathfinder Operations Center.  While there, Ms. Lee asked if the Pathfinder had succeeded in taking photographs of the American flag planted on Mars by Neil Armstrong in 1969.  Of course, Armstrong planted the flag on the Moon.

On Friday, Lee vehemently declared her intention to get rid of President Trump for failing to act quickly enough to counteract Russian’s election meddling and framed the president’s most recent Tweets as a step backward in the long march toward equality for women.

Blustering before Fox Business TV cameras, the Texas Democrat asserted the 25th Amendment “lets Congress remove incompetent presidents."

"Let me just explain. The 25th Amendment is utilized when a president is perceived to be incompetent or unable to do his or her job.  He is incompatible with the office and the leadership of this country," she said. "And yes, the idea that his continuous assault on women only compounds the fact that I would ask him, it's a job that he does not seemingly like, he needs to resign."
The very definition of incompetence is a congresswoman who believes the Constitution is 400 years old and Neil Armstrong planted the American flag on Mars.  She’s an embarrassment right along with Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) who expressed concern in 2010 that stationing 8,000 Marines on the island of Guam would cause the small island to “tip over and capsize.”
