Last Sunday, during primetime,
the Carolina Panthers embarrassed themselves against the Pittsburgh Steelers
losing 37-19.
The Steelers did what any team
would do when there’s a weakness; they went after QB Cam Newton who is still
nursing a rib injury. He took some
pretty nasty body blows from three sacks and came up limping at one point after
being hit in the knees. For the life of
me I can’t understand why Coach Rivera didn’t put in backup QB Derek Anderson.
Today, at M&T Stadium, the 2-1
Panthers will go up against the 2-1Baltimore Ravens. Everyone is going to be watching the matchup
between Panthers’ running back Fozzy Whittaker and the Ravens’ Lorenzo Taliaferro.
The Panthers are pretty banged up this week and the oddsmakers are
predicting a Ravens win.
