Right Jabs For August 4, 2012

Politics is not a playground, it’s a battlefield.  Here’s some links to the news you can use from conservative bloggers, not the corporate-controlled stenographers from Central Planning.

Missile Defense Agency appears to be jettisoning the notion of The Right Stuff for Animal House.

But it’s hard to keep up. About a quarter-million people moved out of Detroit between 2000 and 2010, leaving just over 700,000 residents in a city built for 2 million.

But as they spread their insidious Gospel of Coercive Redistribution, the Obamas pile the riches of our capitalist society upon themselves.

The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said, “See you tomorrow, Sir.”

More crow was on the menu for Democrats today.

Hopefully Mr. Lochte, who wears rubber cap while swimming, wears a rubber somewhere else during all these one night stands.

Remember what Obama said a few weeks ago? “We tried our plan, and it worked!”

Are you drunk, crazy or otherwise unemployable? Have you taken so many steroids that they have actually changed the genetic composition of your DNA?

Now listen, you queer, stop calling me a crypto-Nazi or I’ll sock you in your goddamn face, and you’ll stay plastered.

[He] has the best rapport with Romney, complements him well, excites the base, frustrates the left, and provides a ready defender for the White House's line of attack.

Obama’s last birthday as president?

Hmm, last time I checked, insulting people wasn’t the best way to convince them.

Hey, 8.25% is really 8.3% rounded innit?

Thus it is with our friends, the liberals.

A commissar who realizes that his five-year plan is off-target and that the people detest him or laugh at him may be said, in a base manner, to be confronting an unpleasant fact. So, for that matter, may a priest with ‘doubts’. The reaction of such people to unpleasant facts is rarely self-critical; they do not have the ‘power of facing’. Their confrontation with the fact takes the form of an evasion; the reaction to the unpleasant discovery is a re-doubling of efforts to overcome the obvious.

Some people have another term for individuals who want to pay more taxes to a government that currently is spending at the highest share of GDP since World War II: Suckers.

Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy your weekend and please stay safe out there.

  3. Of course; I'll continue my monthly donation regardless. If I'm on the losing end (again) I'll send them an additional $100. And if I lose, I'll send the bill to the Honey Badger. :(
