John, If Things Are So Peachy, Why The Long Face?

I never tire to resurrecting that question when it comes to John Forbes Kerry.  Ketchup Boy, who testified before the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee on Wednesday, said:

“And frankly—and last thing, this is counterintuitive but it’s true: Our citizens, our world today is actually, despite ISIL, despite the visible killings that you see and how horrific they are, we are actually living in a period of less daily threat to Americans and to people in the world than normally— less deaths, less violent deaths today than through the last century. And so even the concept of state war has changed in many people’s minds, and we’re seeing now more asymmetrical kinds of struggles.”

Utter stupidity has no limits. 

“The Islamic State awaits the army of ‘Rome,’ whose defeat at Dabiq, Syria, will initiate the countdown to the apocalypse,’ wrote Graeme Wood at The Atlantic.

FBI Director James Comey has said his bureau is investigating possible ISIS supporters in all 50 states.

James Clapper, Director of National Intelligence, starkly testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee, “When the final accounting is done, 2014 will have been the most lethal year for global terrorism in the 45 years such data has been compiled.

“If ISIL were to substantially increase the priority it places on attacking the West rather than fighting to maintain and expand territorial control, then the group’s access to radicalized Westerners who have fought in Syria and Iraq would provide a pool of operatives who potentially have access to the United States and other Western countries,” he said. “Since the conflict began in 2011, more than 20,000 foreign fighters—at least 3,400 of whom are Westerners—have gone to Syria from more than 90 countries.”

Kerry’s Dubious Utility As A Peace Process Facilitator Is Officially At An End

I have despised John Kerry ever since he compared American servicemen deployed in Vietnam to “the Army of Genghis Khan” in exaggerated imagery:

“They had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam.”

Secretary of State “Ketchup” has issued a series of remarks over the past nine months that have incensed his Israeli counterparts and left the Mideast Peace Talks in utter disarray.

Last month he suggested that a deterioration of the peace talks was due to settlement activity in east Jerusalem. This past March he suggested that Israel would face a reinvigorated boycott, divestment and sanctions movement should talks fail, and last November he seemed to threaten Israel with a third intifada if a deal was not concluded.

The current administration continues to open itself up to parody, an example of which we saw most recently in a video clip, and now we learn than he warned if Israel did not make peace soon it could become “an apartheid state.”

This slur against Israel must be music of the ears of the Palestinians, Hamas and our betters on the Left.

Attempting to walk back the loaded term “apartheid” in relation to Israel, Kerry said:

“If I could rewind the tape, I would have chosen a different word to describe my firm belief that the only way in the long term to have a Jewish state and two nations and two peoples living side by side in peace and security is through a two state solution.  In the long term, a unitary, bi-national state cannot be the democratic Jewish state that Israel deserves or the prosperous state with full rights that the Palestinian people deserve.”

Kerry’s non-apology apology means simply that armies of soldiers, terrorists and diplomats continue to gather in a flagrant scheme to carve up the Holy City of Jerusalem and eradicate half the city of Jews and turn it into a staging zone for some of the world’s most barbaric terrorists.

Kerry must resign his post as Secretary of State and Jonathan Tobin’s money quote adds credence to this thought:

“[Kerry’s] ability to influence events in a positive way is finished. By injecting the apartheid slur into the negotiations, Kerry has poisoned the waters in a manner that will only make it more rather than less difficult for Palestinian leaders to do what they must to bring about peace. Rather than pushing the parties toward an agreement, he has sabotaged the process. Just as the end of the conflict will have to wait until a new generation of Palestinians is willing to put aside their rejection of a Jewish state, so too, must a productive American intervention be put off until Kerry leaves the diplomatic stage.”

Genghis Con: He Spoke In Words Scented With Cloying Hypocrisy

The denizens of Capitol Hill preen and talk as if into a magic looking glass that reflects loveliness to the beholder while the rest of the world sees them as frightening clowns, satiated on self-righteousness and a reckless ease for squeezing the trigger. 

In two speeches last week, to save the head of the Democratic Party, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry called the chemical attacks in Syria “a moral obscenity,” and “a crime against humanity.” He said that “fatigue does not absolve us of our responsibility.”

Today, as Kerry ended his opening remarks to the Senate Armed Services Committee on The Insufferable Airhorn’s use of force resolution in Syria, a Code Pink protester disrupted the hearing shouting, “We don’t want another war.”

As the protester was led out of the hearing room, John “Christmas In Cambodia Is Seared In My Memory” Kerry was reminded of his appearance before the same committee on April 22, 1971.

“The first time I testified before this committee when I was 27 years old. I had feelings very similar to that protester. And I would just say that is exactly why it is so important we’re all here having this debate, talking about these things before the country. And that the Congress itself will act representing the American people. And I think we all can respect those who have a different point of view.”

In his depraved conspiracy, America was a monster.  Kerry is a political schizophrenic—from America-Basher to Secretary of State.

“Ketchup Boy” trashed the honor of Vietnam vets without a thought.  He walked all over them in order to launch his political career.  He stripped them of their dignity as he called them “baby killers” and placed POWs in harm’s way that were still in the hands of the Viet Cong.

It still pisses me off the way he pronounced the name Genghis Khan.

The Insufferable Airhorn’s Plans To Become World Caliph An Epic Fail

Millions of Egyptians massed in Tahrir Square in Cairo to celebrate the ouster of Islamist President Mohamed Morsi.  Kori Schake of Foreign Policy noted The Insufferable Airhorn “achieved the impossible, getting all factions angry with the U.S.”

Schake continues, “U.S. President Barack Obama’s administration has achieved the hat trick of alienating all factions in Egypt. It neither defended nor pushed out Hosni Mubarak, thereby earning the embitterment of both the ‘deep state’ that had been America’s ally for 30 years and liberals who agitated against it; gave the military a pass during the 18 months of its ‘caretaking’ when policy choices and governance rules might have been established; waived congressional concerns limiting U.S. foreign aid; gave the elected government too little support to have influence; was largely silent during a crackdown on nongovernmental groups; and now condescendingly suggests Egyptians would do better to politically organize than protest.”

Protesters carrying signs that were clearly anti-Obama, anti-Clinton and anti-Ambassador Patterson indicted them all as shills of Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood.  Meanwhile, The Insufferable Airhorn was playing golf for the 19^th time this year.  If you’re keeping score, that’s the 130^th golf outing of his administration.

And John "Christmas-In-Cambodia-Is-Seared-In-My-Memory" Kerry, Hillary’s replacement at the State Department, was cavorting in Nantucket Sound on his 76-foot yacht, the Isabel.

CBS owned the story regarding “Lurch” being seen riding in a boat to get to another boat just to be able to board the yacht.  So it was little wonder that Sunday’s Face the Nation featured Reuters journalist David Rohde saying that the young people of Egypt would not be inspired by U.S leaders.

Rohde said, “The President has a tough statement and then, you, I don’t know how this happened, but it was terrible optics, the next day the President goes golfing and Secretary Kerry is out on his yacht.  What does that say to young people in Egypt and across the Middle East?”

If anything, they’re getting a taste of what we here in America have to deal with every day.  Welcome to our world kids.
