Make Believe Can Be Fun. Isn’t That Right “Senator Ma’am”?

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) drew hoots Thursday after saying California’s tough firearms restrictions show that “sensible gun laws work,” the day after a mass shooting in San Bernardino.

“The fact is, sensible gun laws work; we’ve proven it in California and we’re not going to give up,” she said at a news conference.

The Daily Caller’s Jim Treacher added, “If you doubt that sensible gun laws work, just check out recent events in California.”

It’s lucky for the state of California that the 74-year-old dumbass liberal hussy will be retiring at the end of her current term.

Prayer Shaming? The Unforgiveable Nonsense Of Those Who Think They Talk Sense

The arrogance of the Left was on full display yesterday following the San Bernardino shootings.  Most notable was the front page of The New York Daily News barking, “God isn’t fixing this…As latest batch of innocent Americans are left lying in pools of blood, cowards who could truly end gun scourge continue to hide behind meaningless platitudes.”

Terry Pettit, whose daughter was trapped inside the Inland Regional Center, read a text message from her:  “Shooting at my work.  People shot.”

Weeping as he spoke to reporters and sirens pierced the air he continued to read, “Pray for us.  I am locked in an office.”

While she and her colleagues tried to survive the carnage, the workers who had been evacuated to a golf course across the street bowed their heads, held each others’ hands and prayed.

The dog pile we witnessed yesterday was appalling, if not downright disquieting.  It’s as if those progressive secularists who inhabit their liberal ivory towers have declared that they tried once to speak to God and decided the sky was empty.

We must stop turning against one another.  “Help" is a prayer that is always answered. It doesn't matter how you pray—with your head bowed in silence, or crying out in grief
