Wheezy Joe Biden

Upwards of 40,000 Vietnam draft dodgers fled to Canada between 1965 and 1975.  Many stayed in Canada after the war’s end and some even stayed after President Jimmy Carter pardoned them all on his first day in office. 

If fleeing to the Great White North wasn’t your cup of tea, you could beat the draft with a college deferment.  Former Vice President Joe Biden received five student deferments while he was an undergraduate at the University of Delaware and later as a law student at Syracuse University.

On April 5, 1968, after undergoing the physical exam required to enter military service, Biden was classified 1Y meaning he would only be called to service in the event of a national emergency.  Why was Uncle Joe classified a 1Y?  Teenage asthma.

We learned this through an inquiry made by the Associated Press into Biden’s Selective Service records from the Obama campaign in August of 2008.  That same month Penguin Random House published Biden’s memoir Promises to Keep in which he never mentions “his asthma, recounting an active childhood, work as a lifeguard and football exploits in high school.”

Uncle Joe is a fibber in the first degree.  He claimed on several campaign stops in Ohio in 2008 as Obama’s running mate, “I went to the University of Delaware, and we came out here to play Ohio University.”

The school’s sports information department told HuffPost that he played briefly on the freshman team in 1961. However, he never played varsity football at Delaware and did not play in the 1963 game at Ohio University.

According to a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll of registered Democratic voters released Wednesday, more than half of respondents said it's not important for the party's presidential nominee to be a veteran.

"Our polling suggests 2020 contenders who tout military credentials won’t necessarily have an advantage when Democrats cast their votes at the ballot box,” said Tyler Sinclair, Morning Consult’s vice president. “Notably, 36 percent of Democratic voters said it was important for their party’s nominee to be a military veteran. This compares to 69 percent who prioritize political experience.”

Pete Buttigieg accused President Trump of using his "privileged status to fake a disability" to dodge the draft during the Vietnam War. 

During the presidential campaign in July 2015, the Trump campaign said Mr. Trump had a "medical deferment for bone spurs on both heels of his feet." The statement also said that Mr. Trump entered the military draft lottery and had received number 356 out of 365.

Before attending commemoration ceremonies in England and Colleville-sur-Mer, site of the Normandy American Cemetery, to mark the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion by Allied Forces, President Trump was interviewed by ITV’s Piers Morgan for Good Morning Britain whether he wished he could have served in the Vietnam War.

The President said, "I would not have minded that at all. I would've been honored, but I think I make up for it right now.  I think I'm making up for it rapidly because we're rebuilding our military at a level that's never been seen before."

If Democrats get all high and mighty about military service, they should be reminded that over the course of John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign, he was forced to admit significant details of his service in Vietnam weren't true—like his claim that he spent Christmas of 1968 in Cambodia where U.S. troops were not supposed to be and "I have that memory which is seared— seared—in me."

At one point, ABC’s Nightline sent a camera crew to Vietnam to find witnesses to back Kerry's version of events. The network was actually offering up witnesses in a Communist dictatorship—one that honored Kerry's antiwar actions in its national museums—and saying they were as credible as the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth that served in the Vietnam war with Kerry.

Kerry was a medal-grabbing phony. He used his notoriety as a veteran turned anti-war activist to jump start his political career.  He was the only known “Swift Boater” to receive the Purple Heart for a self-inflicted wound.

Who can forget the Labor Day 1970 photograph showing traitor Jane Fonda at an antiwar rally in Valley Forge, PA with Kerry leading a group called Vietnam Veterans Against The War?

President Trump NEVER gave aid and comfort to the enemy as John Kerry did.  When he testified in 1971 before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, he cited accusations that American soldiers routinely committed atrocities without presenting a single shred of evidence.

Jane, You Ignorant Slut!

On Friday evening, January 16, 2015, the Weinberg Center for The Arts in Frederick, MD played host to an American traitor and seditionist.  The Center billed her speaking engagement as an opportunity to address a variety of issues including motivation, health and wellness, business, women’s issues, achievement and perseverance.  There was zero mention of her radical activism, calls for revolution, her support of the Black Panthers or that little thing in Hanoi.

For four decades the actress woman slut known as “Hanoi Jane” has been met with protesters for her propagandist machinations in support of one of the worst regimes in human history.

It all began in 1972 when Jane Fonda traveled to North Vietnam to show her solidarity with the Viet Cong and to collect evidence at the behest of radical activist Tom Hayden that the United States was deliberately bombing river dikes in Nam Dinh.  Upon seeing the aftermath, she asked the VC if she could go on Radio Hanoi to plead with American bomber pilots to stop the bombing.  She broadcast 19 propaganda interviews.  She made a hero out of Vietnamese hijacker Nguyen Thai Binh who was killed trying to seize a plane from Saigon going to Hanoi.

Broadcast on August 9, 1972:  "This is Jane Fonda speaking from Hanoi. Like tens of thousands of other Americans, I'm extremely concerned these days about the betrayal of everything that my country stands for—about the betrayal of our flag, about the betrayal of the very precepts upon which our country was founded: equality for all people, liberty, and freedom." 

"Richard Nixon, history will one day report you as the new Hitler…It is no wonder that you are so cynically manipulating the American public into believing that you are striving for peace, when you are in fact committing the most heinous crimes against the innocent civilians of Vietnam."

Her utterances and movements are a testament to the skilled indoctrination of the Viet Cong and the Communists who were supporting them. To the extent there may be any sympathy at all for Fonda among Americans, it's probably because they’ve never known what she actually said in Hanoi and what was attributed to her.

“Fonda's own words make plain beyond any reasonable doubt the intent and import of her statements. They contained lies about the United States, its leaders, their motives and their acts.  They maligned the President of the United States.  They spouted the Communist propaganda line in every respect.  They sought to undermine the moral and military effort of our soldiers in the field and our prisoners in jungle camps and North Vietnamese prisons.  And her words even encouraged mutiny and desertion.”

Emboldened by her willingness to be a propaganda tool for Ho Chi Minh’s guerrillas, she was taken to visit an air defense installation on the outskirts of Hanoi.  While donning a VC helmet, she hopped onto the seat of an anti-aircraft battery holding a gun. 

The picture quickly circled the globe and by the time she arrived back home proudly wearing a coolie hat and black Vietnamese pajamas, she was heckled and cursed with cries of “Hanoi Jane” and rightly accused of being a traitor.

“What is a traitor? What is a patriot? I cried every day when I was in Vietnam. I cried for the Vietnamese and I cried for the Americans, too,” Fonda said.

Even before her treachery in Hanoi, she had been romantically involved with actor Donald Sutherland, her co-star in the film Klute.  Together they took a political vaudeville show called FTA—slang for Fuck The Army—across the country outside military bases and along the Pacific Rim at bases from Guam to the Philippines.  The troupe was under surveillance by both the CIA and FBI.  Fonda’s FBI dossier extended to 22,000 pages.

Eventually, Fonda split from Sutherland, saying she was moving into a “different phase” of her life and she couldn’t share it with just one man. She had always been hedonistic and soon there were rumors of affairs with various activists.  Some time before 1971, Fonda confessed during a feminist consciousness-raising session, “My biggest regret is I never got to fuck Che Guevara.”  Yep, that was her biggest regret.

Now, of course, Fonda would have you believe that she is consumed with guilt about her repugnance for America’s soldiers and her “mistake” at being photographed on that anti-aircraft battery.  She “claims” she wasn’t against them when she visited Vietnam.  Oh no, she wasn’t giving aid and comfort to the enemy.  Not little ‘ol me. “Whenever possible I try to sit down with vets and talk with them, because I understand and it makes me sad.  It hurts me and it will to my grave that I made a huge, huge mistake that made a lot of people think I was against the soldiers.”

Fonda has endeavored, unsuccessfully, to rehabilitate her reputation as a traitor.  By describing herself as a “lightning rod” Fonda demurs, “This famous person goes and does something that looks like I’m against the troops, which wasn’t true, but it looked that way, and I’m a convenient target.”

To this day she maintains, "I don't regret going to North Vietnam. I'm glad I went. I'm glad I did everything I did.”

The Treacherous Miss Fonda

I don’t know about you, but I’m with Aeschylus when it comes to the treacherous Miss Fonda.

On July 7, 2000 The Washington Times reported her feckless apology for being photographed on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft carrier alongside Viet Cong soldiers.  The paper went on to report statements she made about communism. On November 21, 1970 she told a University of Michigan audience of some two thousand students, "If you understood what communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees that we would someday become communist." At Duke University in North Carolina she repeated what she had said in Michigan, adding "I, a socialist, think that we should strive toward a socialist society, all the way to communism.”

Let us also not forget her little friend, John Kerry, Democrat senator from the Commonwealth of Taxachusetts seen in the picture accompanying this post at an anti-Vietnam War rally on Labor Day at Valley Forge, PA forty-one years ago.

Why have I focused on events in this hag’s long ago past?  For starters she clings to the notion that QVC, a multinational corporation specializing in televised home shopping, “caved” to “insane pressure by some well-funded and organized political extremist groups.”

Quoting from her website, “Bottom line, this has gone on far too long, this spreading of lies about me! None of it is true. NONE OF IT! I love my country. I have never done anything to hurt my country or the men and women who have fought and continue to fight for us. I do not understand what the far right stands to gain by continuing with these myths. In this case, they denied a lot of people the chance to hear about a book that can help make life better, easier and more fulfilling. I am deeply grateful for all of the support I have been getting since this happened, including from my Vietnam Veterans friends.”

Her Twitter account proudly displays a mug shot of her with a raised, clenched fist in defiance of her arrest in November 1970 for allegedly trying to smuggle a large stash of pills through the Cleveland airport (charges were later dropped). Fonda, arriving from Canada, was detained by U.S. Customs agents after a large stash of diet pills, Valium, and tranquilizers was discovered in her luggage. Why would someone be proud of that Kodak moment?

Jane Fonda is a moonbat, a self-professed socialist and, in my humble opinion, a traitor.  She was deservedly nicknamed “Hanoi Jane” and by “support” she’s been getting from her Vietnam Veteran friends, does she mean Senator John Kerry?

In her 2006 autobiography, Fonda confessed that giving aid and comfort to the enemy will haunt her until the day she dies.  God will see to that, Jane.  QVC’s decision to cancel her appearance to promote her new book is a delightful way to keep the memory vivid in her mind.
