New In The O’Reilly Series Of Books: Killing Bill

On Tuesday, the day before the Intertoobs blew up over the firing of Bill O’Reilly from Fox News, protesters were demanding the cable news network pull the plug on him.  According to NBC News, the protesters were handing out fliers with O’Reilly’s likeness and the warning “Danger”.  They hung movie theater-sized posters throughout New York City and asked passersby, “Have you been sexually harassed by Bill?”
Fox waited until Wednesday to announce it was parting ways despite rumblings for weeks.  In its statement 21st Century Fox said, “After a thorough and careful review of the allegations, the Company and Bill O’Reilly have agreed that Bill O’Reilly will not be returning to the Fox News Channel.”
The attorney for the oustered star of The O’Reilly Factor, Mark Kasowitz said of the decision, “[O’Reilly] is being subjected to a brutal campaign of character assassination that is unprecedented in post-McCarthyist America.”
Kasowitz is being a bit of a fabulist calling the roiling scandal unprecedented.  The cover-up, as they say, is worse than the scandal.
O’Reilly is clearly not a darling of the Left and he doesn’t give the Right any warm fuzzies either.  The consensus seems to be he is very domineering and difficult to work with based on his well-documented tantrums such as the leaked video from ABC’s Inside Edition.
His release from Fox isn’t the first time he’s been fired.  He had a brief stop for an internship at WPLG Channel 10, an ABC-affiliated television station located in Miami.
O'Reilly's most memorably bloody shows have mostly involved liberal targets. And his twin Moby Dicks, the interviews he'd most love and knows he'll never get, are both liberals: Jesse Jackson (O'Reilly has devoted 56 shows, at last count, to probing the finances of Jackson's nonprofit foundation) and Hillary Clinton (for years, a doormat emblazoned with her face sat in front of his office).
O'Reilly will even admit to lying in bed at night fantasizing about Clinton—about interviewing her, that is. In his dream, he asks half a dozen pointed questions about Whitewater and the suicide of Clinton White House attorney Vince Foster. The seething Clinton finally breaks her silence with a command to her Secret Service escort: "You can shoot him now, boys."
"That would be great television,” says a wistful O'Reilly, presumably referring to an interview and not the shooting part. "That would be an Event. Jesse Jackson, too. But neither one of them is ever going to happen."
I never much cared for the guy except when he verbally annihilated squishes like Juan Williams and Geraldo Rivera.  Those moments I will miss.

Bill O'Reilly's Next Interview with Obama

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
There was an episode of the old Twilight Zone, back before many of you were born, in which a man owned a car, and whoever owned that car could not tell a lie, but was compelled to always tell the truth. The episode ended when Nikita Khrushchev, then leader of the U.S.S.R., drove off in his new car. That was fantasy. My fantasy is to have Barack Obama hooked up to a lie detector or shot up with a little Sodium Pentathol (or both), and ask him a few select questions about the last five years. About Fast and Furious, Benghazi and the IRS for starters.

His interview with O'Reilly on Super Bowl Sunday, was notable only insofar as you recognize that Obama did not give a single straight answer to any of the questions directed at him, and some of his evasions were lies as well. Probably the hardest thing to do, in giving the President a polygraph, would be establishing a baseline of when he is telling the truth.

Or maybe, someone will give him a car...

Saving Private Focker

It seems two Hollywood superstars have stepped in a sizeable pile of muck; Tom Hanks eight years ago at a fundraising auction for St. Matthew’s Parish School and Robert De Niro, just this week, at a Democratic fundraiser.

Both actors are in full damage control mode.

During the video unearthed by The Daily Caller, Hanks is seen onstage with an investment banker in a blackface skit and is heard saying, “Oh jeez…Ladies and gentlemen, a celebrity in our midst!  Who would have thought that Bill O’Reilly would join us?”

The shitstorm that followed prompted Hanks to offer an apology.  “In 2004, I was blindsided when one of the parents got up on the stage in a costume that was hideously offensive then and is hideously offensive now.  What is usually a night of food and drink for a good cause was, regrettably, marred by an appalling few moments.”

In addressing the issue more fully to The Daily Caller, our boy Tom, offered a belated apology to O’Reilly saying, "I used Bill O'Reilly as the punch line of an uncomfortable joke that was hardly funny and [was] unfair.  I have no reason to think Mr. O'Reilly would have found both the reason for the joke nor my use of it funny in any way."

In another example of Leftist raaaaacism, Robert De Niro on Wednesday, apologized for joking at a Democratic fundraiser with Michelle Obama about the possibility of having a "white first lady" at the White House after November's presidential elections.

The Oscar-winning star of "The Godfather: Part II" and "Raging Bull" said he had intended no offense with the remark about the wives of Republican presidential contenders Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Mitt Romney.

He opened the fundraiser saying, “Callista Gingrich. Karen Santorum. Ann Romney. Now do you really think our country is ready for a white first lady?”

According to the report, the crowd of $5,000-a-plate donors waiting to hear from the nation’s first black first lady roared in approval, and De Niro finished: “Too soon, right?”

De Niro’s “the devil made me do it” statement:  "My remarks, although spoken with satirical jest, were not meant to offend or embarrass anyone—especially the first lady.”

So, my Photoshop™ software, having a mind of its own, whipped up this graphic of two stupid Hollywood idiots.  I would apologize for it, but why should I?  It was satirical jesting and it is meant to embarrass these towering examples of stupidity and Lefty raaaaacism.

Stupid is as stupid does.
