Been busy, too busy lately. My shoulder is getting better bit by bit and my energy is increasing.
Hung a door and some drywall, refinished some furniture, cleaned up my workshop, constructed a fireplace mantle and shelving over it for my 1860 Springfield rifle replica. Took a ton of ibuprofen too.
Lots to do with family this Father's Day weekend with birthdays (2 grandsons) and two high school graduations. But time to reflect on being a dad brings me back to some incredible memories. Here's one:
Home to Ft. Bragg after her second deployment to Afghanistan five years ago. I thank God every day that she came home unharmed.
