Mr. Spittle: MSNBC’s Pervy Resident Woodpecker

An MSNBC spokesman confirmed yesterday the company made a separation-related payment to one of Chris Matthews’ employees after the woman complained about sexual harassment involving inappropriate comments and making jokes about her in the company of others.
Two sources familiar with the situation told The Daily Caller Mr. Matthews Spittle paid $40,000 to settle with an assistant producer on his show in 1999 after she accused him of harassment. A spokesman for MSNBC said they thoroughly reviewed the situation at the time and that Matthews' actions were juvenile and inappropriate and received a formal reprimand.
You might say that was 18 years ago, no big deal but this isn't the first time Matthews has been accused of making sexist comments. In 2011, he said of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, "There's something about her. It's primordial. When she walks and moves, there's something electric about it."
In 2008, the network’s resident woodpecker said, “I think the Hillary appeal has always been somewhat about her mix of toughness and sympathy for her. Let’s not forget the reason she is a U.S. Senator, the reason she is a candidate for President is because her husband messed around...She didn’t get there on her merits, because everyone felt, 'My God, this woman stood up under humiliation.'"
In 2007, he had an awkward encounter with CNN's Erin Burnett. "Could you get a little closer to the camera? Come on in closer. No, come in—come in further—come in closer. Really close,” Matthews said. "Just kidding! You look great! Anyway, thanks. Erin, it’s great to–look at that look! You’re great. You’re beautiful. I’m just kidding. I’m just kidding. You’re a knockout. Anyway, thank you, Erin Burnett. It’s all right getting bad news from you, even, OK? Thanks for coming on ‘Hardball.'"
It doesn’t stop there.  In May of last year while then-candidate Donald Trump and his wife were campaigning in Indiana the horndog was caught on an open mic drooling over Melania as she took the stage. "Did you see her walk? Runway walk. My God, is that good. I could watch that runway show," Matthews said.
