For the first time
since 1981, Clemson captured a national championship with an incredible
35-31 win over top-ranked Alabama in the College Football Playoff
finale Monday night.
"Alabama was the
best team in the country up until the last second of this game," Clemson
coach Dabo Swinney told ESPN.
There’s a saying that
a man's true character is revealed in defeat. It’s also revealed in victory.
I am happy for Coach
Swinney. As a diehard Bama fan it hurt
my heart watching my beloved Crimson Tide go down in defeat. Clemson richly deserves to be the 2017
National Champions. Dabo made a wish
upon a star and his dream came true. I
hope he’s going to Disneyland!
