Boston.com reports
that former U.S. Ambassador under the Obama Administration and Republican presidential
hopeful Jon Huntsman tried to defend his refusal to compete in the Iowa
Republican Caucuses by saying, “They pick corn in Iowa. They actually pick
presidents here in New Hampshire.’’
Apparently, Mr. Huntsman believes there’s a malevolent
force at work in those Iowa corn fields. There
certainly should be now given his condescending snark. I think it’s safe to say that Iowa’s Grannies
Of The Corn will ensure his numbers in the caucuses will be nil.
You shouldn’t have said that, Jon. You can’t take it back and you can’t justify
it. We will remember your moment of
utter arrogance. Hmmm, come to think of
it, your arrogance matches that of the errand boy sent by grocery clerks. No wonder you were part of his
administration.
