The New York Daily News is reporting that America’s Child Emperor “brought his debt battle to Twitter and he lost—more than 40,000 Twitter followers.”
Here’s what he tweeted: The time for putting party first is over. If you want to see a bipartisan #compromise, let Congress know. Call. Email. Tweet. —BO
Immediately thereafter his campaign staff embarked on a day-long spam attack by tweeting the handles of GOP leaders state by state, tweet by tweet.
Apparently 40,000 Twitter followers didn’t appreciate the spam and demonstrated their infuriation by unfollowing President Prissy Pants. A search for “@BarackObama unfollow” turned up scores of irritated posts.
One such post reads “I want to unfollow @BarackObama, but his desperation is too entertaining,” tweeted @rdpatrick of Lavonia, Georgia.
Jack Dorsey, when creating Twitter, defined a tweet as “a short burst of inconsequential information.”

You mean, the people do no like being spammed by the messiah?

ReplyDeleteOn the other hand Obama has plagued us with long bursts of inconsequential information.
