The Bronx Bolshevik And The Old Guy Who Combs His Hair With A Balloon

When Bernie Sanders appeared in Wichita, Kansas a week ago he said, “ideas once considered to be radical are now part of the mainstream.”

Alongside him on the dais was the Democrat Party’s “Next Big Thing”.  A Bronx Bolshevik who has been toasted on the Sunday talk shows, is making videos with Bernie and running around the country on a breathless endorsement tour.

Alexandria Ocasio Cortez credits her primary win over New York Democrat Joe Crowley, who was expected to succeed Nancy Pelosi as Democrat leader of the House, to the efforts of the George Soros-backed BrandNewCongress.org and Justice Democrats.

The policies of Justice Democrats include:  securing a living wage tied to inflation, enacting a federal jobs guarantee, healthcare as a right, tuition-free public colleges, law enforcement reform, abolishing ICE and enacting common sense gun regulation.

Socialism polls brilliantly with the core Democrat base of angry government workers, angry college students, angry welfare recipients and San Francisco eco-billionaires who keep all their money in Caribbean banks.

The Democrats are no longer sure of the difference between whatever it is they believe and socialism. That’s because they have no ideas other than resisting Trump and hating Republicans.

Now I know some trolls on the Left will read this and be tempted to post their defiance of the opinions expressed in the comment section here.  So, for them I will cite a source they can scarcely rebut.

From NBC News:

As Venezuela’s economy crumbles, daily life has become a constant struggle, consisting of waiting in line for food and stretching a minuscule wage that each day buys fewer goods.

The country's monthly minimum wage of 1,307,000 bolívars — around $6.03 on the black market — is enough for two cartons of eggs, a kilo (about 2.2 pounds) of cornmeal and a box of pasta, or two liters of milk, four cans of tuna and a loaf of bread.

Venezuela sits on the world’s largest oil reserve and was once one of Latin America’s wealthiest countries. But as hyperinflation continues to rise to levels not seen anywhere in the world, money loses more and more value.

Venezuela’s crisis can be traced back to Hugo Chávez, who was elected in 1998 on a promise to share the country’s oil wealth with the poor.

He relied heavily on oil revenues to fund his “21st Century Socialism,” agenda, importing goods and selling them at subsidized prices to make things more affordable.

But when oil prices collapsed around 2014, Venezuela had little savings to fall back on. Since then, the government has cut imports and used its small reserves to pay its foreign debt and avoid default. This has turned into a crisis, with shortages in everything from medicine to food.

Billions disappeared from the economy due to cronyism, with Transparency International naming Venezuela one of the most corrupt countries in the world. The socialist utopia has transformed into a failed country.

The Venezuelan people rummage in stinking piles of rubbish for rotten cabbage leaves, desiccated limes and scraps of fetid meat. Zoos have been forced to slaughter animals to feed their starving population and dozens of desperate men were filmed this year shouting “we are hungry” as they surrounded cattle and beat them to death with stones for the meat.

The only part of socialism its intellectually bankrupt adherents enjoy are the freebies.

The late British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher noted, “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.”

History tells us that even before they run out of money, the socialists will run out of sanity.

Bring It Holder! You’re Gonna Get Slimed!

Bill Murray starred in the role of Dr. Peter Venkman, PhD in the 1984 Ghostbusters and 1989 Ghostbusters II movies─the story of four scientists who answered the call to save New York.

In Ghostbusters II, the crew meet up with Vigo the Carpathian, a real nasty repeating phantasm who comes to life in a painting.

Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder AKA Vigo, has repeatedly said in recent months he is considering a run for president in 2020.

“In 2020, you could do something to do be a part of the solution of the things you’ve been talking about,” the Washington Post’s Jonathan Capeheart said during a sit-down interview with the former AG. “Why do you feel at least a flicker in the belly to even think about running for president?”

Holder responded, “Well, because I care a great deal about this country. I’ve spent the vast majority of my professional life in public service. I think I’ve got ideas that I hope would resonate with the American people. I think I’ve got the guts to potentially do the things that I think the next president would have to do.”

“This is not a time to be half-stepping; this is a time to deal with a changing America. An America that will be wounded by the experience that we are presently going through. So, it is all of those things. It doesn’t mean that ultimately, I’m going to do it. I’m certainly going to be involved in what happens in 2020. But I care about this country. I care about the way in which people in this nation are treated. I care about the notion of fairness, of equality,” he added.
Today, this arrogant sumbitch tweeted:
Good grief, man.  Don’t you realize you quoted the president who signed Executive Order 9066 which authorized the mass forced removal of 110,000 Japanese Americans on the West Coast to inland internment camps?

This was the same president who directed the German oceanliner St. Louis carrying 937 passengers, all of whom were Jews fleeing the Nazi Third Reich, to turn away from the port of Miami and return to Europe to face the Holocaust.

According to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, “Sailing so close to Florida that they could see the lights of Miami, some passengers on the St. Louis cabled President Franklin D. Roosevelt asking for refuge. Roosevelt never responded. The State Department and the White House had decided not to take extraordinary measures to permit the refugees to enter the United States. A State Department telegram sent to a passenger stated that the passengers must ‘await their turns on the waiting list and qualify for and obtain immigration visas before they may be admissible into the United States.’"

When Holder resigned, Darrell Issa (R-CA) Chairman of the House Oversight Committee at the time, called him “the most divisive U.S. Attorney General in modern history. Time and again, Eric Holder administered justice as the political activist he describes himself as instead of an unbiased law enforcement official.  By needlessly injecting politics into law enforcement, Attorney General Holder’s legacy has eroded more confidence in our legal system than an attorney general before him.”

Holder unilaterally decided to try 9/11 terrorists in New York City, he allowed thousands of weapons to “walk” into the hands of Mexican drug cartels, he failed to enforce the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), he was held in contempt of Congress for withholding Fast and Furious documents, he targeted Fox News reporter James Rosen as a co-conspirator seizing his phone and computer records, he unfairly targeted business owners in Operation Choke Point, he failed to investigate the IRS for targeting conservative and Tea Party groups, he aggressively intervened in the Ferguson debacle before there was any evidence of mishandling by the Ferguson Police Department touching off days and days of rioting.

Particularly galling about Holder’s most recent tweet is the dripping hypocrisy of April 22, 2000 when Immigration and Naturalization Services began to mace, kick, stomp and gun-butt their way into the home of Elian Gonzalez’s legal custodians to wrench a bawling 6-year-old boy from the arms of his family at gunpoint and bundle him off to Fidel Castro’s terror-sponsoring shithole fiefdom leaving 102 people injured, some seriously.

So, if Holder is seriously contemplating a run for President in 2020, he should know straight up he’s gonna get slimed by the Holderbuster; something he richly deserves.

CNN Asks: What Happened The Last Time A President Chose America’s Enemies Over Its Friends?

President Trump’s arch-enemy appears to be more popular with viewers interested in lifestyles of the rich and famous than news.  As their ratings continue to collapse, the only good day the cable news nitwits had during the second quarter of 2018 was the day of the Royal Wedding.  When it comes to fluff and pageantry CNN is your go-to source.  When it comes to actual news, an audience seeking to be well-informed ditch the network  faster than a toupee in a hurricane.

In a twisted version of the TV game show Jeopardy CNN asked, “What happened the last time a President chose America’s enemies over its friends?”

The lowly cable outfit published a repulsive piece authored by Manisha Sinha. The Indian-born American historian at the University of Connecticut suggested, “Donald Trump likes to compare himself to Andrew Jackson, but the Andrew he really resembles is Andrew Johnson. What they have in common are delusions of personal grandeur and a tainted ascent to the presidency. Trump was elected by a minority of the American electorate, with help from the vagaries of the Electoral College system and from considerable Russian interference.”

Sinha continues, “Johnson became President thanks to an assassin's bullet. While Johnson immodestly compared himself to Jesus and Moses, Trump claims he is the best at everything, even boasting recently on Twitter that his popularity among Republicans exceeds that of Abraham Lincoln.”

“Indeed, pundits have likened today's partisan divisions to those of the Civil War era. But they more closely resemble the politics of Reconstruction, the period after the war when for the first time in history, an American president, Johnson, was impeached by the House of Representatives.”

“But the resemblance between the two men goes deeper. Johnson's white-supremacist views were blatant and his policies precipitated a constitutional crisis that put the President at loggerheads with Congress and his own party, the Republicans.”

This “expert” takes great care to emphasize the following:

The Republican Party then was the liberal party of anti-slavery, big government and Lincoln. The Democrats were the party of white supremacy, Southern slaveholders and states' rights.

Sinha rather conveniently misses a critical point that is easily substantiated from a host of reputable sources which document Johnson was a Democrat. In 1862, Lincoln appointed him Military Governor of Tennessee.  In 1864 Republicans nominated Johnson for Vice President.  Lincoln was elected to a second term but was assassinated five months later in 1865.

CNN’s biased propaganda included a video accompanying Sinha’s screed featuring Richard Clarke, former National Coordinator for Security, Infrastructure Protection and Counterterrorism for Presidents Reagan and George H. W. Bush.

Clarke, an alleged liar and obvious Never Trumper opined, “The U.S role in the world is diminishing and the overriding thing that connects all of this is diplomatic malpractice by the President of the United States.  He is trying to do diplomacy, high-stakes diplomacy, in multiple arenas by himself; shooting from the hip.  This is a man who has no experience in national security, no experience in international diplomacy, who’s ignoring his advisers and we see the results.”

“Our influence, our respect around the world is diminishing.  The prospects of war are inching up because of his tweets, because of his impulse, because of his inexperience and the insistence on doing it himself.”

Please Leave Already

On April 11, 2018 Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) announced he would leave Congress at the end of his term in January 2019.

"I did not seek this job. I took it reluctantly. But I have given this job everything I have," Ryan said. "To be clear, I am not resigning. I will serve my full term as I was elected to do."

Ryan was cast to the country as the champion of bipartisan cooperation to solve the debt crisis and the protection of the makers from the predations of the takers.

While Ryan ostensibly attributes his decision to step down to wanting to spend more time with his family, he leaves behind a House that has lost institutional capacity and public respect. He leaves behind a conference that is divided and ineffective, one that may well spend much of the rest of this year deciding who might next inherit the speakership.

The absence of a strong Speaker of the House has greatly diminished the GOP advantage in that body. Congress is always an extraordinarily difficult institution. By design, it is does not move speedily and it creates innumerable ways to block progress. With an Executive Branch that has vastly expanded in power since the early 20th century, and an electorate that is increasingly divided along party lines, effective governance requires some sort of centralizing force that can help to bring about compromise and push back against the more destructive forces in the House and the Senate.

A strong speaker is an important part of the solution to America’s illnesses. The steady erosion of the speakership (Hastert, Boehner and Ryan) is not healthy for the institution. Someone has to take charge in an increasingly dysfunctional Capitol Hill.

Yesterday Ryan lectured young congressional aides on civility in public discourse and on social media. "These days, we don’t even really set out to persuade anymore. We just hit each over the head until the music stops."

"Here is the way I see this: it is no longer just that our passions are getting the best of us. More and more, our politics is enabling the worst in us.  We no longer see our opponents as ‘the other side,’ but simply as ‘the others’. As someone not fundamentally like us. The more politics preys on our divisions, the more we become defined by them. It leads to a view of life and society as a zero-sum game where one group has to win at the expense of the other."

Ryan warned against retreating "to the comfort, and conformity, of our tribes," as "this blinds us to the perspectives that others bring to the table."

"In turn, we ourselves don’t reach out, don’t offer our time and energy. And social media just amplifies all of these trends. It is an industry where you can make money feeding fear and resentment.  We are caught in this paradox where we are more connected than ever, but we could not feel more disconnected or more alienated. We just cannot let our divisions overtake our basic respect for another. We need to recognize that we are all less-than-perfect. We all fall short, we all struggle. We all want to be heard, and to be needed. Our humanity spurs us to find perspective, to listen, and to lend a hand. This is without question the greatest antidote, the greatest antibody, we have against the forces of alienation."
He even produced a lame-ass video in which he read mean tweets:

When a resolution was issued to impeach Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein late last night accusing him of thwarting congressional oversight and obstruction by defying congressional subpoenas in the Mueller Russia investigation, Ryan opposed the move saying the “accusations don’t rise to the necessary level of high crimes and misdemeanors.”

According to The Washington Examiner, the resolution was filed as a nonprivileged motion, meaning Ryan would have to approve it for a vote on the House floor. Freedom Caucus member Mark Meadows (R-NC) said he could instead file it as a privileged motion, requiring a vote on the House floor within two days.

“We hope that it doesn’t have to come to that but starting tomorrow we can bring it up as a privileged motion.  That’s something that any member of Congress, Jim [Jordan R-OH] or I can do. And quite frankly, it’s either we hold him in contempt or we get the documents, or we impeach him.”

On Rosenstein's watch, the Justice Department has "made every effort to obstruct legitimate attempts of congressional oversight," Meadows said. "The stonewalling over this last year has been just as bad or worse than under the Obama Administration."

He added, "This level of conduct, paired with the failure to even feign an interest in transparency, is reprehensible. And whether you're a Republican or a Democrat, this kind of obstruction is wrong — period."

In the end, Meadows decided not to carry out that threat for now. He did not file a privileged motion for impeachment, and House Republicans announced this morning they would not vote on the matter before they leave for their August recess.

Meadows is “tabling” his efforts to impeach pursuing instead contempt if the Justice Department does not turn over the documents Congress has demanded.  Ryan must, as Speaker, partner with the Freedom Caucus.

Ryan discovered long ago that the Freedom Caucus buried his family jewels in the same graveyard where they buried John Boehner’s.

The Profession That Opened Up The Gates Of Hell

The American Psychiatric Association is honor bound to completely destroy the sexual mores in America. Soon there will be no sexually deviant act that will not meet with their approval. In 1974 the APA gave the nod to homosexuals and - surprise, surprise - a few years later the AIDS epidemic rocked the world. The cause? Homosexual promiscuity. Five years ago the APA decided that it was time for a repeat performance, perhaps leading to a hat trick for perverts, and they redefined the disgusted proclivity to have sex with children.
In a move toward destigmatizing pedophilia, the American Psychiatric Association (APA) in its updated Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), distinguishes between pedophiles who desire sex with children, and those who act on those desires.
The former group — those who want to have sex with children but whose desires are not distressing or harmful to themselves or others — is no longer classified as having a psychiatric condition in the updated DSM. “The difference [from the last edition of the DSM] is, you’re not automatically saying that as soon as someone has a marked, unusual erotic interest that they have a mental disorder,” said Ray Blanchard, who cowrote the chapter on sexual disorders in the new DSM.
The change in the DSM, a kind of Bible among medical professionals, lawmakers, and drug and insurance companies, doesn’t just apply to pedophilia, but to several other deviant sexual desires listed in the manual. It represents “a subtle but crucial difference that makes it possible for an individual to engage in consensual atypical sexual behavior without inappropriately being labeled with a mental disorder,” explains the APA in its DSM-5 Paraphilic Disorders Fact Sheet.
As corrupt politicians are drawn to the lush hunting grounds of out nation's capital, so those with corrupt sexual drives seem to be drawn into the field of psychiatry.

The North American Man Boy Love Association has been pushing this perverted agenda for years. In fact, there is movement afoot, particularly in England, that sex with children does them no harm and that the age of consent should be lowered greatly, perhaps as low as 12 or even lower.

This campaign to legitimize pedophilia is straight out of the bowels of Hell.

We The Sheeple

Socialists Democrats hope to return to power for the first time since the early Obama years.

The party of ludicrous obstruction is facing a brutal 2018 map in which 10 Senate Democrats are up for reelection in states President Trump won.  Their base is clamoring to remove him from office before 2020.

The party has, of late, being eating their own.  Nancy Palsi tweeted about “striving to Make America Beautiful Again”.  Mad Maxine Waters called for her supporters to harass Trump Administration officials saying, “God is on our side.  If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

They’ve hitched their wagon to some barmaid from the Bronx who is economically ignorant and ignited a controversy when she said America wasn’t founded on capitalism and called Israel an “occupation” force in the Palestinian territories.

Meanwhile, Republicans are poised to gain a decades-long hyper-conservative majority on the Supreme Court with Trump's nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, and all the Democratic leadership can do is wring their hands and shout about Roe v. Wade, health care and immigration without a clear, unified message about how to win back the House and Senate in 2018.

The unimaginative leaders of the Democrat Party─Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi and DNC Chairman Tom Perez─have feigned playing nice talking about the virtues of civility while Republicans have been accusing Democrats of backing Communism and supporting the savage gang members of MS-13.

Marc Thiessen wrote in a Washington Post Op-Ed, “MS-13 is a demonic death cult. And President Trump has Nancy Pelosi defending its members’ humanity.”

“Through their dishonesty, Democrats such as Pelosi have handed the President a winning issue. A Harvard/Harris poll finds that 56 percent of Americans agree with Trump that it is fair to call MS-13 “animals” (including 47 percent of Hispanics, and 41 percent of Democrats). Millions of Americans can’t understand why Democrats seem more hostile toward Trump than a vicious gang that carries out savage killings.”

Last Thursday House Democrats introduced legislation that would abolish U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), prompting Senate Republicans to respond with a resolution of their own.

Just yesterday the House of Representatives voted for a resolution that supports ICE and explicitly condemns Democrats’ calls to abolish the agency. The final vote was 244-35-133. The majority of House Democrats (133) voted “present” in protest of the resolution.  The resolution said calls to abolish ICE “are an insult to the heroic law enforcement officers who make sacrifices every day to secure our borders, enforce our laws and protect our safety and security and allow dangerous criminals to remain in the U.S.”

Democrats called the resolution a political stunt.  It wasn’t a stunt.  It broke the back of the Democrat Party by getting them on record for voting against supporting the agency and its vital work in securing the border.

The complete list of Democrats who voted against the measure can be found here.

In a private meeting yesterday, Democrats decided just pointing fingers at President Trump and yelling “In Peach Foty Fie” ain’t cuttin’ the mustard.

What did they come up with?

Chair of the Democratic Policy and Communications Committee, Cheri Bustos (D-IL) announced they will use the new slogan “For the People” in the 2018 midterm elections.

Bustos, who supports the DREAM Act said, “We have 110 days from right now until Election Day and we will be spending the month of August in our home districts and we wanted to make sure we are singing from the same song sheet on the three top issues.”

The new slogan will accompany a focus on three key areas, according to Bustos: health care; infrastructure spending; and Republican corruption in Washington.

“Those are three promises that this president made to the American people that he has not kept. Sometimes you have to clearly and simply point out how we’re different,” she said. “With discipline and not being distracted by the outrage of the day, that’s how people can start hearing us.”

“I don’t think any of us are claiming this is poetic or this is the end-all-be-all of messaging,” she emphasized. “It’s just a way, in a quick way, to put together the answer to what we stand for.”

Oh honey.

If the Democrats win back the Senate, Mark Warner (D-VA) would take over the Senate Intelligence Committee and would devote its work to a renewed investigation of President Trump’s alleged Russia ties.

On the other hand, if the party cannot win back Congress in 2018, the 2020 Presidential Election will be a moot point.  The message for all of us “deplorables” is simply this:  Don’t get complacent.  Campaign against the Democrats up for re-election.  Talk up their challenger, but of paramount importance─get to the polls and vote.

Epic Battle: The “America Last” Crowd Versus The “America First” President

Was President Trump’s press conference in Helsinki a regrettable misstep?  It sure felt like it at the time.  The upshot was an isolated president in a state of serious tension with his Director of National Intelligence, Dan Coats, and a rich target of hysterical criticism.

Chris Strohm and Jennifer Jacobs, in a published report at Bloomberg Politics wrote, “President Donald Trump gave the go-ahead to announce new Russian election-hacking indictments before his meeting with Vladimir Putin rather than after in the hopes it would strengthen his hand in the talks, according to accounts from people familiar with the decision.”

Despite his dismal showing in Helsinki, President Trump’s policies on Russia have been the right ones and far stronger than those of his predecessors (see video embedded below).

In July of 2017, for example, President Trump visited Krasinski Square in Warsaw, Poland before going to the G20 Summit in Hamburg, Germany.  Krasinski Square, in 1944, was the site where members of the Polish Underground battled Nazi forces for 63 days while the Soviet Army waited on the far side of the Vistula River.  Some 200,000 people died during the rebellion.

In his speech, Trump publicly endorsed NATO’s Article 5, which calls for the alliance to defend any member that comes under attack and he called for Russia to “cease its destabilizing activities in Ukraine and elsewhere.” He also expressed support for the Polish-led Three Seas initiative, which aims to reduce dependence on Russian energy supplies to Poland and other nations and serves as a counterweight to EU influence in Central Europe. (The identical sentiment he expressed at the 2018 NATO Summit in Brussels.)

In March of 2018, Poland signed the largest arms procurement deal in its history on Wednesday, agreeing with the United States to buy Raytheon’s Patriot Missile Defense System for $4.75 billion in a major step to modernize its forces against a bolder Russia.

In Obama’s first year in office, he decided to scuttle a long-range missile defense system in the Czech Republic and Poland. Russians cheered the decision and Putin called Obama’s move "correct and brave."

In May of this year, the President terminated the United States’ participation the Iran Nuclear Plan known by the long-winded name, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Over the past year, military coordination between Moscow and Tehran has also intensified. Qassem Soleimani, the flamboyant head of Iran’s elite Quds Force, a branch of the Revolutionary Guards that is roughly equivalent to American Special Operations Forces, was the front man on military coordination between the two nations, especially in Syria, beginning in 2015. Contacts now go much higher. In November of 2017, the Chief of Staff of Russia’s armed forces, General Valery Gerasimov, flew to Tehran for talks with his Iranian counterpart, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, a former military intelligence expert in the Revolutionary Guards who now oversees both the Guards and the regular Iranian Army, Navy, and Air Force.

“There is good military cooperation between Iran and Russia, and, of course, there are many areas for expanding cooperation,” Bagheri declared. The two military chiefs are in increasing contacts with one another.

For decades now, the Russian bear has continually been sinking its mighty energy claws into Europe and Germany. Despite long promising to "get off Russian energy," Gazprom sales to Europe hit an all-time record last year and Europe is still the largest buyer of Russian oil.  Hence, the fiasco at this year’s NATO Summit where President Trump declared to Germany’s Angela Merkel, “We’re supposed to protect you from Russia, but Germany is making pipeline deals with Russia. You tell me if that’s appropriate. Explain that.”

You get my drift.  Our President has been tough on Russia and he’s being tough on the Pravda-like media complex threatening us right here at home.

“Let me tell you, you take on the Intelligence Community, they have six ways from Sunday of getting back at you,” Chuck Schumer said on television. “So even for a practical, supposedly hard-nosed businessman, he’s being really dumb to do this.”—Sen. Chuck Schumer, January 4, 2017 during an appearance on the Rachel Maddow Show

Immediately following the conclusion of the joint press conference in Helsinki, Obama’s CIA Director, John Brennan manically tweeted this which exposes the demented malice of the Obama Administration:
Brennan, who supported the Soviet-controlled American Communist Party, meets the textbook definition of a useful idiot for the Russians. At the height of the Cold War, he cast his vote in 1976 for Gus Hall, the American Communist Party’s presidential candidate. He refused to take his Oath of Office on the Bible during his swearing-in ceremony.
Brennan deplored Ronald Reagan’s description of the Soviet Union as an evil empire and joined other leftists in demanding that he pursue détente with Marxist thugs who make Putin look like a piker. During his time as Obama’s CIA Director he sanitized the concept of jihad and constantly whitewashed Islamic terrorism.
Now that he’s left the armchair comfort of the CIA he has resumed the radicalism of his youth by calling for civil disobedience and the overthrow of a duly elected president.
Treachery thy name is John Brennan.
I liked what Patricia McCarthy wrote today at American Thinker:
“As for the left-wing media tools, they are equally disoriented by the successes Trump is racking up with alacrity–so disoriented that they are self-destructing before our eyes.  Any montage of the not-analysts on CNN and MSNBC throughout the last few days reveals a full group meltdown of monstrous proportions.  Their shark-jumping criticism of Trump over the Putin press conference has made their mania over the border look like a toddler tantrum.  This time they have exposed themselves for who they really are: terrified, ignorant, blinkered narcissists discovering they are completely irrelevant.  We should all be eternally grateful for the truthful analysts, like Stephen F. Cohen of the Nation, and for Trump, whose instincts are so much better than the lot of the baying hyenas on cable and network so-called news programs.

Russian Roulette: Putin Defeated Obama, Not Hillary, In 2016

The horde of crybabies on the Left are demanding President Trump cancel his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki after Friday’s indictment of twelve Russian military officers for interfering in the 2016 Presidential Election.

“President Trump should cancel his meeting with Vladimir Putin until Russia takes demonstrable and transparent steps to prove that they won’t interfere in future elections,” said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.  “Glad-handing with Vladimir Putin on the heels of these indictments would be an insult to our democracy.”

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s lengthy indictment makes the Russian president’s denials that his government wasn’t connected to the interference preposterous.

In February of this year Mueller indicted 13 Russians and 3 Russian companies, accusing them of conspiring to interfere with “US political and electoral processes, including the Presidential Election of 2016.”

Mueller has mastered the art of indicting Russians over whom he has ZERO jurisdiction.

According to the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy, “Perhaps not surprisingly given the tenor of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the United States and Russia do not have an extradition treaty. In addition, Russia is one of the countries that will not extradite its own citizens. So, assuming that the 12 defendants charged in Mueller’s recent indictment remain in Russia, there is no possibility that they will be extradited to the United States.”

In the unlikely event the accused were to appear in court, their legal counsel would demand to examine the Democrat National Committee’s servers.  They’re not going to show up, of course, so there will be no challenge to the allegations, no demand to see the evidence and no legal embarrassment for Mueller’s “13 angry Democrats” responsible for the Trump/Russia probe.

That’s a neat little trick isn’t it?

Around noon on the same day Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced the indictments, CNN’s Jake Tapper told former Obama Administration National Security Council official Samantha Vinograd, “I have to say, and it’s unfair I suppose to hold you responsible for the entire Obama Administration, but you read this indictment and you think, boy, they really kind of missed the ball on this.”

“I mean, yes, they issued that report, but President Obama said he told Putin to cut it out or knock it off, it wasn’t particularly strong and then there was all this hesitation about warning the American people for fear of looking partisan.  In retrospect, doesn’t it seem to you that perhaps the Obama Administration was at least to a degree asleep at the switch?”

“Well, I’m not here to be an apologist for the Obama administration,” Vinograd replied. “I was gone when this happened.”

In June of this year, Michael Daniel, The World’s Most Dangerous Community Organizer’s Cybersecurity Czar testified under oath before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence that a “stand down” order that was politically motivated had been issued almost simultaneously with the launch of the investigation into the possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Following Daniel’s testimony, Michael Isikoff, who formerly worked for NBC News and Newsweek before joining Yahoo! News as Chief Investigative Correspondent, reported on the revelation writing (and as an acolyte of the messiah it must have pained him), “The view that the Obama Administration failed to adequately piece together intelligence about the Russian campaign and develop a forceful response has clearly gained traction with the Intelligence Committee. Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA),  the ranking Democrat on the panel, said in an opening statement that ‘we were caught flat-footed at the outset and our collective response was inadequate to meet Russia’s escalation.’”

“That conclusion was reinforced Wednesday by another witness, Victoria Nuland, who served as Assistant Secretary of State for Europe during the Obama Administration. She told the panel that she had been briefed as early as December 2015 about the hacking of the Democratic National Committee—long before senior DNC officials were aware of it—and that the intrusion had all the hallmarks of a Russian operation.”

Isikoff continues, “As intelligence came in during the late spring and early summer of that year about the Russian attack, Daniel instructed his staff on the National Security Council to begin developing options for aggressive countermeasures to deter the Kremlin’s efforts, including mounting U.S. ‘denial of service’ attacks on Russian news sites and other actions targeting Russian cyber actors.”

The report goes on to say, “One of Daniel’s staff members, Daniel Prieto, recounted a staff meeting shortly after the cyber coordinator was ordered by Susan Rice, President Obama’s National Security Adviser, to stop his efforts and ‘stand down’. This order was, in part, because Rice feared the options would leak and ‘box [Obama] in.”

Victoria Nuland, Obama’s Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs. also revealed, in response to questions by Sen. Susan Collins, (R-ME), another previously unpublicized dimension to the Russian attack. That summer, Collins said, FBI officials advised the Committee that Russian diplomats were traveling around the country in areas they were not—under diplomatic protocols─permitted to visit, apparently to collect intelligence. Asked by Collins if she believed this was part of the Russian so-called active measures attack on the election, Nuland responded, “I do.
